“Bryanna was great! Ready to jump in and help in anyway possible. Took a last minute booking that REALLY helped us. Bryanna was more than happy to go over details with us before the sitting. All the questions Bryanna asked us about our dog and his needs made it apparent that our dog would be cared for while we were gone. We came back to a happy, tired, and well-cared for dog! Would absolutely book again 😊”

“I’m a repeat client and reviewer 🙂BUT it’s because Samantha does such a good job taking care of my cats. Her consistent communication and pics makes all travel, work or personal, a breeze. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a pet sitter!”

“Adela is fantastic! Adela follows all my instructions and cares for my dog (Bowie) as if he was her own. Adela stays overnight at my home and she is super respectful, clean and kind. Highly recommend!”

“I’ve had Barbara house sit with my animals two times now, and she has been communicative and helpful each time. I was running around before my trip and I forgot to leave her instructions in my home, but she was super understanding and helpful when I reached out with notes on medication and food. I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter!”

“Sasha was absolutely wonderful with our two quirky, anxious dogs. She was incredibly patient and attentive, and we came home to a clean house and two very happy, relaxed pups—which says everything. She communicated clearly throughout our time away and sent fun photos and videos that gave us so much peace of mind. We would love to hire Sasha again and highly recommend her!”

“Matt is always great with our dog, Elliott. He was very responsible with Elliott's medication schedule and attentive to his emotional needs. I'll be re-booking Matt for our next trip as well. Thank you, Matt!”

“Josie was great, spent 5 days taking care of our home and our two pups. Gave regular updates, and left the house immaculate. Thanks Josie! Hope to have you help us again in the future!”

“Michelle was absolutely fabulous! She was able to watch my two dogs on very short notice while I was in Oakland to visit family. My dogs loved her! She took great care of them, taking them on multiple walks throughout the day and providing attention when needed. She we be the first person I reach out to when I am in the Oakland area again. Thank you Michelle!”

About: While I'm new to Rover, I have over 10 years experience taking care of my friends and family's cats, dogs, insects, and plants. I'm excited to start this business on Rover and extend that pet/plant care to the people in my East Bay community! I'm a landscape horticulture student in Oakland, so when I'm not in class, working in my garden, or spending time with my own kitties, I love taking care of my friends, neighbors, and families' pets. They bring so much silliness and happiness into my routine! When walking your dogs or taking care of your pets in your home, respect, safety, and trust are my top priorities. The pet parents I work with know their pets best, and I take their guidance and wishes very seriously. When I'm housesitting, I treat clients' homes with even more respect than I treat my own.
“I highly recommend Nicky! She took great care of our sweet old Callo, was super flexible when our return flight was delayed, and tended to the plants, in addition to being responsive and easy to work with.”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life. I have seen pets through life from young to elderly, providing medications and cleaning up countless messes. Nothing will surprise me. I attune to pet personalities well: I love snuggling with the snuggly ones, take care around skittish ones, and everything in between. I am punctual and respectful of your time and space. I’m currently working part-time from home and I am available on short notice to provide care for your loved ones. I am quick to respond and can travel within the East Bay comfortably. I provide loving care in the form of house and pet-sitting, dog walking, feeding, medications, play time, snuggling, and more. I am a highly attuned individual, so I will learn your pet’s needs and meet them where they are at. I work comfortably with pets with boundaries, aggression, skittishness, and other high needs. As a house and pet-sitter, I always leave the home exactly as I found it. I respect your property and make your pet’s safety the highest priority. I will follow your guidelines to the letter and I’m happy to send you pictures to help your mind be at ease.
About: I have always had a great connection with dogs, who are immediately drawn to me. I've been dog walking for several years, and have a little training experience so am able to handle them when outside, always with kindness. I love spending time with both cats and dogs and always make sure all of their needs are met. I have a very flexible schedule at this time. I have a few dog walking gigs, take a class, intern for a few hours per week, and play in a basketball league one night a week, but most of my time is available. I cannot do pet care in my home, only in your home or for walks. If I am in your home I will take good care of your space.
“Dennis was a wonderful house and pet sitter for us while we were away for a week. He took good care of our two dogs and two cats so we could actually have a relaxing vacation, knowing they and our home were in good hands. We will definitely book him again.”

“Gabrielle really helped me out with a last minute dog sitting need and immediately put my anxious chihuahua mix at ease. Tons of updates and photos and let me know what his schedule was like when we got back. Thanks so much Gabrielle!!”

“Lola was fantastic! She was kind, attentive and sent many fun photos while taking care of my dog. She left the house extremely clean and asked questions when in doubt of caretaking detail. My dog seemed to have had a great time playing and cuddling with Lola. Highly recommend!”

“Sidney pet sat my cat and dog over the holidays and did a wonderful job! Sidney was punctual, easy to communicate and coordinate with, and took really excellent care of the animals and the house. I would definitely hire Sidney again!”

Thanks for always taking such great care of Hampton! Vanclee is incredibly reliable and gives me peace of mind whenever we’re away. Hampton can be a little stubborn when it comes to taking his medications, but Vanclee is always patient, caring, and willing to work with him. It’s clear he genuinely cares about the pets he watches. I highly recommend him and will definitely continue booking with him in the future.

Josie was amazing and totally saved the day when our other pet sitter fell through! She took great care of our pup who is reactive / can be a bit of a menace - sent plenty of photos - and was very communicative and professional. We’d be thrilled to work with her again.

Dawn was an amazing house sitter. I highly recommend her. She is very responsible and great at communication. She took excellent care of our dogs Leeloo and Lucy, and her pup Coqui was great company for our girls. Most importantly, I didn't worry for a minute of our trip--the peace of mind was priceless.

Linett took great care of our dogs while we were out of town. We have two strong and energetic bully breeds and they definitely got to have lots of adventures and snuggles with her. She was very communicative and shared photos and videos of the doggos while we were gone.

Ashley was a great dog & house sitter! She deeply understands animals, especially large dogs. Great communication, updates, and care for our dog over our wedding weekend which gave us peace of mind to enjoy our time away. Ashley took great care of our place and went above and beyond with a couple house tasks and nice notes to welcome us home. Would absolutely recommend her to watch your pets and place!!

Bryanna was great! Would absolutely book again 😊

Eleanna is the best sitter on Rover. She watched our senior extra large, picky girl (with multiple medications) for a week and made us feel so comfortable with the whole Rover process. We came back to a clean house and a very happy pooch. Eleanna communicated with us everyday and sent a series of photos with each message. The level of care she showed us, our dog, and our home has made us repeat customers! Thank you Eleanna!!
