I have a 3-year-old Miniature Poodle who I have raised and cared for since he was young, so l understand how important it is to provide dogs with plenty of love, attention, exercise, and a consistent routine. I live in an apartment and make safety and supervision a priority at all times. Dogs are always leashed when leaving the apartment and carefully supervised in hallways, elevators, and outdoor areas. I make sure each pet has a comfortable and clean space to relax, along with regular walks, potty breaks, playtime, and attention. Since I also have a friendly Miniature Poodle, I would make sure dogs are introduced carefully and that everyone is comfortable around each other. I’m also happy to follow each owner’s feeding schedule, walking routine, house rules, and any special care instructions so their pet can feel as close to their normal routine as possible.

About: I grew up with all kinds of family pets and including adopting my own puppy at 17. Since moving to Oakland I’ve been lucky to live with several cats and dogs of roommates of all dispositions (both the roommates and their pets) and now my fiancée and I have a perfect baby angel cat son. I’m comfortable with puppies over 3 months old and mostly potty trained, I don’t mind mouthy or jumpy pups and am happy to discourage behaviors according to their training. I’ve had experience with palliative care for two beloved senior dogs that required a little extra help and care and am happy to show your old buddy patience and TLC. Happy to do easy walks around the block or take longer adventures in Oakland’s redwoods! For cats and dogs I am comfortable administering most medications. I’m currently on a long break from full time work and have open week day availability for walks and visits, and can be available weekends with extended notice Ask someone who always wants pictures of my cat, I am happy to send you as many photos of your pet as you would like! I have a keen attention to detail and an above average ability to follow instructions, and I’m happy to do things your way. I have a backseat dog hammock for my car that make sure dogs of all sizes are able to get comfortable.

“Rover review - Feb 14-15, 2026 Responsible, trustworthy, tidy, conscientious, funny, accommodating, and highly communicative, I would absolutely book Qishu again in future. Our kitties took to her right away (even our skittish one). We were only away for 1 night but Qishu sent frequent text updates throughout the day, which put us at ease so we could enjoy our time away. She takes great pics and videos, in which we could tell our girls were being very well taken care of and appreciated, and not missing us in the least. In less than 24 hours Qishu managed to play with our high-energy 8-month old to the point of getting her tired enough to pant (as requested), and to gain the trust of our skittish 1-year old, enough to be petted until she was purring and rolling around on the floor, showing belly. This was not requested nor expected; even our closest friends (who our cats have known since they were kittens) haven’t been able to get that close to her! Qishu went the extra mile without our asking, and the results were incredible. When we got home, Cricket and Jiji were happy and relaxed, as if we had never left at all. The house was clean and in order. We have some more travel dates later this year and are crossing our fingers that we will be able to have Qishu look after our girls again. 🤞🏼 Thanks Qishu! Our dog is a bit problematic what with needing to wear a cone most of the time, some pills to administer, and a couple of wounds that need spraying, and Rosie did a great job - we came home to a happy pooch with no flare-ups. Rosie was also flexible in timing for coming to meet with us, and even met with us twice before we headed out. We definitely recommend Rosie for both house-sitting and dog-sitting.”
