I work full time and available weekday evenings (after about 6pm) and Sat-Sun any time as long as I have enough notice. I also work from home at times so do sometimes have flexibility during weekdays as well.

I’ll make sure your pet(s) is/are fed, have clean water, and that no messes are left over from accidents anywhere in your house. Depending on your instructions and the pet’s personality, I also try to play or interact with them for a while before I leave. If there’s an emergency, I’ll call the emergency vet (please provide a number if you have one!) then call you to let you know.

A typical day
I love to play with cats and dogs, make sure they are entertained, and give them pets or cuddles when they ask! For dogs, I also love hiking around the East Bay or going for a long walk. Otherwise, I leave them alone if they don’t seem like they don’t want to interact.

I have lived with cats since 2018 and have two of my own. Experienced with kittens and older cats, high and low energy dogs. I love to learn about your pet’s body language! Also experienced with dog walking, house drop ins, and house sitting for dogs over 1 year old. I’m also experienced in giving medications and bathing animals. I will show your pet a lot of love and will make sure they have what they need!

Alix was so communicative and reliable! Even when I was dealing with flight delays and difficulties scheduling my trip, I felt safe leaving my dog Sam with her. And Sam clearly loves Alix! My dog escaped out my door to try and greet Alix when she returned my keys.
Alix did an excellent job taking care of Cassie. She was prompt and friendly and very responsible. When our plane was delayed, she was very sympathetic and stayed longer than requested to make sure our dog, who has separation anxiety, was not left alone too long. We will definitely be using her again.
Alix did a great job taking care of KiKi and my household while I was gone :D recommended
Alix was very kind and Kale seemed well taken care of. She did seem a bit scattered but may have just been the last min nature of the sit.
