About: While I'm new to Rover, I have over 10 years experience taking care of my friends and family's cats, dogs, insects, and plants. I'm excited to start this business on Rover and extend that pet/plant care to the people in my East Bay community! I'm a landscape horticulture student in Oakland, so when I'm not in class, working in my garden, or spending time with my own kitties, I love taking care of my friends, neighbors, and families' pets. They bring so much silliness and happiness into my routine! When walking your dogs or taking care of your pets in your home, respect, safety, and trust are my top priorities. “There aren’t enough words to express just how attentive and amazing Quishu is: Positive, dynamic personality with an ability to get zen when needed. She’s the kind of personality our beagles need. She followed all our doggie care and home instructions, it was such peace of mind. She sent frequent photos and videos which showed us that our adopted and often timid beagles trusted her, felt safe with her and were actually being their true goof ball selves. Most sitters think they’ll try to “fix” their issues which never works and creates a tense dynamic, but Qishu didn’t appear to judge us for all our instructions and expectations. This was the longest I’d ever been away from my cat Hopper but she put my mind at ease - Sara was a great communicator, sent cute photo and video updates, and kept on top of Hopper’s health. She also took great care of my apartment. Hopper definitely has a new bestie. I’d highly recommend booking with Sara!
Elisa was wonderful with our Chow Chow, Poppy. Chows can be a little reserved with new people, but Elisa was incredibly patient, calm, and understanding, which helped Poppy feel comfortable. She kept us updated with messages and photos throughout the stay, and it was clear Poppy was well cared for and happy. She also took great care of our home and was thoughtful, reliable, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. We came home to a relaxed dog and everything exactly as we left it, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Feel so lucky to have found Rich! He took wonderful care of my dog, Tova. He sent daily photos and I knew she was in good hands while I was away. I came back home to a clean house and a thorough report on Tova’s behavior. Rich clearly loves animals and has a keen sense of their needs.
Tenzin stayed at my place and took care of my rescue dog for the weekend. She left my home even cleaner than she found it and truly went above and beyond with housekeeping. She did everything I asked in caring for my dog, but it's difficult to speak to how the stay actually went because there was little communication during or after the stay about how my dog was doing, how they bonded, and if there were any challenges or notable moments. That said, she was responsive when I reached out during the stay and got the sense that things went smoothly.
Adela has watched out two cats a few times now and she’s always so wonderful! She answers messages quickly, sends lots of pictures and follows all their care instructions so well ❤️✨she also house sits for us and sleeps overnight at the house to make sure its secure and our boys are safe! We highly reccommend her! ✨
Bryanna was A-MAZ-ZING. she sent me multiple updates a day along with photos and videos. My kitty can get sad and low energy when I travel, so it was so nice to see her engage burger with playtime and toys! My house was super clean after she left so will 100% be hiring Bryanna again!
Emilia and Ion are a super team! They do a great job for our weekly walks and an even better job as house & pet sitters! They visiting our two dogs 4x daily and generously kept them company inbetween visits too! They even watered our garden! I couldn’t ask for a single thing more in a sitter and will definitely be using them again
Rob was the BEST sitter. He went above and beyond in every respect -- from meeting the girls twice before his sit to make sure they were comfortable with him, to sending us pics and updates throughout his stay, to making sure our home was perfect upon our arrival, he exceeded our expectations. Our girls loved him, and they were happy, well exercised, and healthy when we got home. Definitely would recommend Rob as a doggy sitter for everyone!
We were so happy with Jo! For the meet and greet, Jo was incredibly patient and warm and proactive, even with our Enzo’s silly behavior. Fortunately, with Jo’s care, Enzo warmed up very quickly and returned the love. We were very glad to witness Enzo’s good behavior, quirkiness and relaxed mood - as seen from Jo’s frequent photo updates and communication. On top of being good caregiver, she went above and beyond to also care for our home. We hope our pup will get to reunite with Jo, his new best friend, again someday.
Tim is amazing! Would rebook him anytime. Super detailed about care and directions, great updates and just overall made me feel at ease about leaving Louie, who has some senior special needs, in his care.
