About: I’m a caring, responsible, and attentive pet sitter who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I understand that every pet has a different personality, routine, and level of energy, so I always adapt my care to their individual needs. I’m very patient, organized, and dependable, and I pay close attention to feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications or special instructions when needed. I also make sure pets receive plenty of affection, attention, and companionship so they can feel relaxed and happy in my care. What sets me apart is that I treat every pet as if they were part of my own family. I'm usually home in the mornings until 9:30 AM and after 4 PM. I attend school from 10 AM to 3 PM, but outside those hours, I'm home and happy to spend time caring for your pets! I live in a small but cozy studio, perfect for small pets. I would love to have a furry companion while I study! I also live right across from Lake Merritt and love taking dogs for walks around the lake, where there's plenty of space to explore and enjoy the outdoors.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs. I currently have a dog of my own and understand just how much our pets mean to us—they’re family. When I moved my dad to California so I could become his full-time caregiver, bringing his dog with us was never a question. He’s an important part of our family and daily life. I previously had another beloved dog from the age of 13 through 27, giving me experience with puppies, adult dogs, and seniors. I'm currently working on a contract basis and primarily remote so I have time to stop by your home or house-sit as long as there is reliable Wi-Fi. Typically, when pet-sitting for friends, I will feed, walk, or change out litter boxes as often as needed. If I am not staying at the owner's home full-time, I will make sure the animal gets sufficient interaction and love daily. If an animal is staying in my home during the day, I have a fenced-in, locked yard (though I generally wouldn't have an animal outside without me) and there is also a dog-friendly park less than two blocks from my home.

About: I’ve been pet-sitting and a pet owner for most of my life. I grew up in a 2-3 dog household and recently had my pit-mix Marla. I am currently pet-free but excited to use this opportunity to meet and care for new friends! I have a flexible, part-time working schedule and I am happy to work with your pet’s routine and needs. I am able to easily by car or transit from where I stay For dogs: I live in a first floor apartment with easy access to a park (3 min walk) and plenty of safe streets for walks of any length. There is a dog park about a 7 min walk from my place. Regardless of where I am, I enjoy taking long walks and am very patient and attentive when in public with dogs. For cats: I am happy to care for them in whatever way they need whether that includes giving a lot of attention or space if thats what they prefer. Providing food, water, play and a comfortable, safe place to coexist is my goal.

About: I've been watching dogs for about 7 years now, mostly small and medium dogs, and I have a real soft spot for herding breeds. I love going on walks with them, usually around 30-45 minutes in the neighborhood, to help burn off their energy and keep them active. I especially love walking younger, energetic dogs because I can go longer with them (getting my steps in) but, I also have a big love for senior dogs and take it slower and easier for them. Every dog is different, so I like to give them what they need — whether that's a good long walk or just sweet cuddles and their own space to relax. I try to keep things calm for them the whole time they're with me. I also send lots of pictures throughout the day so you can see your pup enjoying themselves and know they're safe and having a good time. Right now I'm actually watching a friend's dog, and I'd love to bring that same care to your pup too. I do ask for at least 24 hours' notice when possible, just so I can work around everyone's schedule and be fully ready for your dog. I have a lot of flexibility right now and I'm available throughout the week and most weekends, aside from Saturday nights. That means I can usually work around whatever schedule fits you and your pet best. I prefer taking care of animals in their own home. When their family is away, that can be a stressful, uncertain time for them, so making sure they still feel safe and at home is always my top priority. I keep their routine as normal as possible — same feeding times, same walks, same spaces — so the change feels as small as possible for them. If we're at my place instead, I love watching them explore and get curious about a new environment. Helping them feel comfortable and at ease is always the most important thing to me, whether that's in their home or mine.
