“Our dogs can be nervous around new people and seeing how happy and relaxed they were when Maia came by for drop-in visits was such a joy! Getting photo updates and communication from Maia put our minds at ease, we are grateful to know they are in good hands with her and will be booking again.”

About: ***IMMEDIATE JACK LONDON SQ ONLY FOR WALKS/DROP-INS PLEASE *** Trust is everything, especially when it comes to caring for our pups! I believe ALL dogs are stars with their own unique "genre" (Punk, EDM, R&B, Rock, Pop, easy listening) and let's face it, this is how they crack us up on a daily basis! I believe positive reinforcement, but also Cesar's Way (exercise, discipline, affection) and include lots of playfulness in the process (solo or with my pup - your preference). I enjoy assisting in ongoing training (how to improve walking on a leash, how to look good for their "Dogs playing poker" portrait, etc) while in my care. Whether it be for a brief stay or a brisk walk (A tired dog is a happy dog!) I can't wait to meet your fluffy family member and help ease your mind while you are away from them. I have worked with dogs that may be fearful or have anxiety (many often confuse with being "aggressive" when this is not the case). Being attentive on our walks at all times is paramount...I'm not one who focuses on looking at my phone constantly (unless I'm taking pics of our walk to send to you!) while letting your pup pick up or eat something they shouldn't. Many thanks! I currently work from home and have flexibility to work with local dogs for walks/drop-ins in the Jack London Square area and boarding (near or far). I have a large fenced patio and is easy to monitor the fur monsters if they want to enjoy the outdoors a bit during their day.
About: I have a one year old Labradoodle puppy so i know how to train a puppy (crate training, sit, hi-five, wait , stay and bark on command.) He has four times potty break a day. I work full time but i have Tuesday and Wednesday off so i am available anytime on those days. Stay overnight on Monday is also available. I usually take my dog to dog park( alameda dog park or point Isabel dog park )on my day off every week. i also offer brushing and body spraying additionally
“Jessica is wonderful! She sends great photos with the Rover card. To my surprise, I received a photo of my normally shy, skittish cat cuddling up in her lap - it made me so happy! Will certainly rebook. Great communication & I can tell that my cats are well taken care of when I’m away.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments for over 6 years. Neighbors, friends, and family rely on me to walk, feed, bathe, and provide companionship to their pets. I’m comfortable with high-energy puppies, gentle with seniors, and attentive to each pet’s unique needs. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and happy while keeping owners updated for peace of mind. I’m currently working from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. I’m available for boarding on weekends, and for drop-ins, walks, or playtime on weekdays. With this open schedule, I can give your pets the time, energy, and attention they deserve without rushing. I provide a safe and loving care with a fenced yard and two friendly dogs who love making new friends.. My priority is building trust with both pets and owners , keeping pets comfortable, secure, and cared for like they are my own.
About: I’ve been living with animals pretty much all my life and my family has so many. I’ve taken on responsibility which includes feeding, walking, watching, playing, cleaning after them and making sure I don’t overstep any of their boundaries! Senior animals have a special place in my heart❤️ Currently a college student attending SJSU! I go to school Monday-Thursday for right now and I’m available all day Friday-Sunday. I do have some time on Tuesdays and Thursdays but only after 3pm. My apartment has a big yard where my cat loves to wander and sunbathe. I call him in when it’s time to come in and he listens! I like to let him out because my space isn’t too big so I want to make sure he has lots of room.
“Melina was super awesome taking care of our little puppy! I appreciated her taking notes and asking us how we wanted her to take care of Mochi, our dog. Thank you, Melina! We would definitely ask her to come back and watch our dog!”

“Fuliang did a great job. I felt my cat Alba was well cared for. I got a nice detailed report on the last day. Could have used a picture of my cat everyday but otherwise I am a very satisfied customer and will use this sitter again for my pet sitting needs.”

“Cindy was absolutely amazing with taking care of the cats while I was away. She was very attentive and provided very thorough check-ins which helped alleviate my worry. I will be recommending her to anyone that requires a pet sitter in the Bay Area.”
“This was our first time using Rover and Sydney made it an absolutely wonderful experience. She’s extremely reliable, shares pictures and info on how the pups are doing. Both of my dogs were happy and well cared for! We hope to have Sydney take care of our pups again in the future!”

About: I have been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. I started walking my first dog, Sophie, a Great Pyrenees, when I was only 8 years old. Currently, I have experience with two puppies, a loving chocolate lab, a gentle giant mastiff/Anatolian Shepard, and an 8-year-old lab. I am knowledgeable in training puppies with basic commands and walking etiquette. Also, I am experienced in using prong collars and handling all exercise activities. I'm an avid runner and typically run each dog for 3 miles or more, depending on your preference. I also have experience taking them to the dog park for socialization, which I monitor closely. I am willing to take on all duties while their owner is working or traveling for work. Unfortunately, two of the dogs I cared for will be going to Arizona with their family, so I would be very excited to give your dog all the love, exercise, and training they need. My schedule is very open and flexible, so I can accommodate you and your dog's needs. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! I am absolutely thrilled to let you know that I am currently available and highly flexible in terms of schedule, as two of the dogs that I was previously caring for have left for Arizona. Starting in February, I will be beginning my online studies, which are self-paced, so I will have plenty of time to spend with your furry friend. I am so grateful for the opportunity to care for your pet and can't wait to spend joyful days with them. Animals bring me so much joy, and I am looking forward to creating a wonderful experience for your furry companion. Please feel free to let me know if there is anything I can do to make your pet's time with me even more delightful. Safety is number one when it comes to animals. Each animal has different needs based on their temperament and personality. A meet and greet is very important to me to ensure I meet all of your fur baby's needs while in my care.
“Sidney was friendly, came ahead of time to do a walkthrough, was very patient in getting access to my high Tech apps to access the apartment, and worked with me on a creative solution to return my key fob. Many thanks to Sidney!”

About: I specialize in cat care and wellness. I understand the importance of having someone care for your cats while away. I will ensure to be responsible, loving and caring. My week is very flexible at the time, except T and Th in the evening time since I am taking classes. I’m happy to make things work with your needs! Cats are very curious creatures so it’s important for me to ensure their environment is safe for them. I pay close attention to their behavior and monitor a close routine to ensure they feel cared for.
“Great job, our pets and their space was well take care of! Before we left, Megan & Jenny R were collaborating with us on how to provide the best care, and stayed in touch during their visits.”

About: I’ve had cats my whole life and currently have two of my own. I’ve cared for them in every way and am the primary person who looks after my friends’ and neighbors’ cats when they’re away. I’ve also dog sat and walked friends’ and neighbors’ dogs when they’re at work or on vacation. I’m currently in volunteering part time and about to start a masters program (online) so I have a pretty open schedule, I’m definitely able to stop by during a work day. I’m also around for the holidays so am available while people travel at the end of the year I’m more than comfortable spending time at a pet’s home with them or take them out on walks as necessary. I’ve looked after pets who need a lot of play and others who just want someone to sit next to and I’m good with either
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, ever since I was born. I currently have a one-year-old dog named Nala, and she’s truly my best friend. I’ve always been surrounded by family dogs and have done plenty of dog sitting over the years, but having my own dog made me realize that the love and connection are so much deeper than I ever imagined. I bring that same care and affection to every dog I look after. I have experience with overnights, walks, and drop-in visits, and I always make sure pets feel loved, safe, and happy while in my care. Pet care is already part of my daily life! I work as a house manager, and one of my main responsibilities is caring for two dogs, feeding, walking, and keeping them company. I work Monday through Friday from 12pm to 6pm, so I’m available every morning, Fridays all day, and on weekends. I love taking care of pets in their own homes since it’s usually the most comfortable for them. I live in a small apartment, so I can’t offer boarding at my place. I make sure to get to know each pet’s personality and routines to keep them safe and happy. I also like to maintain clear communication with owners, providing updates and answering any questions along the way.

Produce And Waterfront pet parents share their Rover experiences
Superlative! Emily was everything we wanted in a pet sitter, and more. She was responsive, reliable, and a great communicator. She quickly grasped our cat’s needs, asked appropriate questions, and was attentive in her visits. It was a delight to have her services – we enjoyed our time away more knowing that she was on the job.

Cindy and Cesar were great! Communication was easy, prompt, and flexible. My cats were comfortable around them. They took care of the things that we had requested of them. They even went out of their way to clean up the used dishes after feeding the cats. I had a good vacation knowing my cats were well looked after. I would reach out to them again in the future, and recommend them to others!
