About: I have had and cared for pets since childhood, rescuing (literally from the streets) a lovely pitbull named Olive when I lived in Philadelphia. Moved to CA in May 2026 from East Coast. I recently moved to CA to support my wife’s new job in SF. I have a fully open schedule at the moment and with a love of animals I thought that this would be a better way to learn and love my new community than digging through online job ads. I am willing to sit, play, walk, feed and care for your pets as needed. I’m an active (formerly collegiate) runner and can go as fast or slowly as your pet needs. I have reliable transportation and experience in pet first aid as I recently completed my tenure as an Emergency Manager with the American Red Cross.

About: My pet care experience includes looking after cats, dogs, fish, and hamsters. I'm happy to maintain litter boxes, take dogs on long walks and play fetch, spend time with cats, administer pills and medications to any animal (even if they are not excited about it), and provide pets and scritches whenever needed I'm currently working 8-4:30 with open availability every early morning, evening, and weekend from now until June 6! During the summers, my availability will be completely open! I am experienced caring for pets in other people's homes, but unfortunately not in my own because I have two rescued cats of my own. Pets can recharge in our private spare room or a sunny spot. • Evening: Dinner and indoor play, featuring unlimited handmade treats from my workshop. • Night: A final potty walk and cozy snuggles before bedtime. We live in a spacious, pet-friendly 2b2b apartment in Oakland. For your peace of mind, we have a dedicated spare room that is not used by humans, it’s a perfect "private suite" for pets who need their own space, are shy, or require isolation for health or personality reasons.

I have a separate crate available so your pup can have their own space, and I walk dogs individually to ensure everyone feels calm and secure. There’s a dog park right across the street, and if your dog is friendly and you’re comfortable with it, we can enjoy some supervised playtime there. If you prefer limited interaction or your dog does better with space, I’m also happy to keep them separate and stick to quiet walks around the building where there’s little to no contact with other dogs. Whatever your pup’s needs or personality, I’m committed to providing a safe, controlled, and positive environment.
