About: I have always been surrounded by pets of all kinds. Growing up with dogs, cats, fish, and reptiles, I’ve developed a strong bond with them. I have experience caring for all kinds of pets, ensuring they feel loved and safe. Currently, I work part-time, but I can set my own schedule. This allows me to be flexible and available to adapt to any needs you may have As a pet owner I prioritize safety and trust in every interaction, ensuring peace of mind for you and your pet while providing exceptional care.

About: I grew up with family cats and dogs and adopted my own puppy at 17 and quickly realized how much work a pet of your own is! I’ve been lucky to live with cats and dogs of roommates of all dispositions (both the roommates and their pets) and now have a charmer of a big orange cat with my fiancé. I’m comfortable with puppies over 3 months old and mostly potty trained, I don’t mind mouthy or jumpy pups and am happy to discourage behaviors according to their training. I’ve had experience with palliative care for two beloved senior dogs that required a little extra help and care and am happy to show your old buddy patience and TLC. Happy to do easy walks around the block or take longer adventures in Oakland’s redwoods! For cats and dogs I am comfortable administering most medications. I’m currently on a long break from full time work and have open week day availability for walks and visits, and can be available weekends with extended notice Ask someone who always wants pictures of my cat, I am happy to send you as many photos of your pet as you would like! I have a keen attention to detail and an above average ability to follow instructions, and I’m happy to do things your way. I have a backseat dog hammock for my car that make sure dogs of all sizes are able to get comfortable.

About: I was raised in a rural area surrounded by all kinds of animals, and we always had dogs and cats growing up. I have had the pleasure of dog and cat sitting numerous times over the years. I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats and enjoy spending time with them. I'm new to the Bay Area and looking to devote my time to your pet's schedule. I'm looking forward to getting outside and exploring new neighborhoods with some furry friends. I focus on creating a calm, safe, and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. I stick closely to their pet’s normal routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and any medications to help them feel secure and stress-free. I’m attentive to instructions, respectful of the home, and make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure.

About: While I'm new to Rover, I have over 10 years experience taking care of my friends and family's cats, dogs, insects, and plants. I'm excited to start this business on Rover and extend that pet/plant care to the people in my East Bay community! I'm a landscape horticulture student in Oakland, so when I'm not in class, working in my garden, or spending time with my own kitties, I love taking care of my friends, neighbors, and families' pets. They bring so much silliness and happiness into my routine! When walking your dogs or taking care of your pets in your home, respect, safety, and trust are my top priorities. The pet parents I work with know their pets best, and I take their guidance and wishes very seriously. When I'm housesitting, I treat clients' homes with even more respect than I treat my own.

I’m experienced with regular walks, slower-paced outings, feeding routines, potty breaks, and keeping pets calm and comfortable. I’m also attentive to details like medication timing and following owner instructions closely. I’m especially comfortable with adult and senior dogs who benefit from a calm, reliable presence. I currently work on a flexible, self-directed schedule from home while writing a book, which allows me to be available for weekday walks and drop-in visits. About: I adore dogs. I can’t have my own so I cherish every moment! I’ve done a good amount of dog sitting/ walking both small and large dogs. We have a great time, I love playing with them, taking them out as many times a day as they like, and having sleepovers to keep them company. I have a pretty flexible schedule so I am often able to make lots of different times/days work. Weekends are totally fine for me as well. In my house I only have space for a small dog. I have two cats. I am able to take them on as many walks as they need a day, play with them, cuddle them, make sure they’re comfy and having a good time. At a clients house it is similar except any size dog or cat is good for me!

About: For the last four years I’ve lived in a home with two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. One was a senior at 13 years old and the other is three. I’ve learned how to adapt to their different needs based on age and personality while setting boundaries and aligning to my Housemate’s desires for their care. (Which has helped me get to know new dogs pretty quickly.) We walk, play and cuddle. When needed I administer medication, feed them, and sometimes cook for them. I look forward to chatting with you about your family’s needs. When house sitting I do not schedule any other families for walks or drop-ins. The care I provide is all inclusive so that your baby gets all of my love and care. If I am not house sitting, I’m available everyday after 11am for walks and drop-ins within a 1 mile radius of lower Rockridge or easily reachable by public transportation. To ensure safety and comfort, I won’t be walking any other dogs outside of your household. I am available to spend time with your pet(s) in their home where they will be the most comfortable. I’ll come to you for walks.

About: i’ve been a dog mom for 20+ years and have basically had dogs my whole life. i trained my own dog from puppyhood and i’ve helped friends (and other pet parents) with basic training and routine stuff too. i’ve taken multiple training classes, so i’m comfortable with things like leash manners, boundaries, and reinforcing good behavior in a calm, consistent way. i’m naturally really good with dogs and i’m great at reading their body language, even the ones that are anxious, reactive, or “don’t usually like people.” i’m patient, confident, and i keep things low-stress so pups feel safe and listened to. i work from home, so i’ve got plenty of time to give your pup real attention throughout the day (not just quick check-ins). i’m happy to do multiple walks a day, and since i’m near downtown oakland, we’ve got plenty of great walk routes, lake merritt, nearby parks, and lots of good “sniffari” streets. in my home, your pup gets a safe, relaxed setup with lots of attention. i have a fenced patio so they can hang in the sun and get fresh air, and inside they’ll have plenty of room to stretch out, lounge, and roam comfortably. we’ve also got nearby open spaces, fields, and trails for walks and play. depending on your dog and what you’re comfortable with, i can do off-leash play (only where it’s safe/appropriate) or keep everything leashed, solo adventures or playtime with my dogs if your pup enjoys company. i’m big on following your routine and keeping things consistent: feeding schedules, meds, crate time, training cues, slow introductions, whatever your dog needs. i’m totally comfortable with seniors, shy/anxious pups, and dogs with special instructions. and if your dog would do best with more backyard time, i can also utilize my girlfriend’s place nearby with a fully fenced backyard for extra outdoor play/sniff time (with your permission).

In addition to dogs, cats, and birds, I've been a parent to rabbits, hamsters, livestock and reptiles. I'm also a mother of two over the age of 35. I'm the go-to person for the care of their dogs, as well for other members of my family's pets when they are in town. I have a 13 year old Corgi/Jack Russell mix, (Sir Prince) that loves meeting new friends. So while in my care, your baby will have my constant attention, and personalized detailed care, as if he or she were my own. I also believe in providing my clients a peace of mind while away from their bundles of joy. I know how stressful it can sometimes be. You are welcome to bring a Kennel for your furbaby if they are use to using one. In my experience, they are helpful during feeding times and when personal space is needed. Sometimes they provide a bit more comfort to them when in an unfamiliar place. But for the most part, all pups have the freedom to roam as they wish. My specialty is in-house pet care, but taking the babies for walks is always possible. I provide homestyle daycare and boarding 24/7. Pups will never be left unattended. Lady K's Doggie Lounge and my clients are top priority for me. I offer a calm, free to roam environment. Kennels are only used for feedings and sleeping if needed. I can and will maintain your pets current schedule/ routine if necessary.

Growing up, I regularly helped care for my family’s dogs whenever they needed support, which gave me plenty of hands-on experience with feeding, walking, playing, and making sure pets feel safe and loved. I’m also a cat parent to my two kitties, Michi and Kiki, whom I’ve raised since they were just 8 weeks old. They’ll soon be two years old! Caring for them has given me daily experience with cat care, routines, playtime, and creating a calm, comfortable environment for pets. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and treat every pet with the same love and attention I give my own. I am currently a master’s student at UC Berkeley. Most days of the week, I end classes at 1pm, so I will be available after that, Sundays and Saturdays the whole day! I have a large apartment for your pup to play in!
