About: I adore dogs. I can’t have my own so I cherish every moment! I’ve done a good amount of dog sitting/ walking both small and large dogs. We have a great time, I love playing with them, taking them out as many times a day as they like, and having sleepovers to keep them company. I have a pretty flexible schedule so I am often able to make lots of different times/days work. Weekends are totally fine for me as well. In my house I only have space for a small dog. I have two cats. I am able to take them on as many walks as they need a day, play with them, cuddle them, make sure they’re comfy and having a good time. At a clients house it is similar except any size dog or cat is good for me!

About: Animals have always been a very important part of my life. Growing up, my mother operated a small pet rescue and animal shelter organization in Asia, and from a very young age I helped care for rescued dogs, cats, and abandoned animals alongside her. Over the years, we helped rescue and rehome thousands of animals, many of whom came from difficult or traumatic situations. caring for animals feels completely natural to me. I do not see pets as “just animals.” I genuinely believe they are family members who deserve love, patience, emotional safety, and respect. In many ways, I believe animals carry one of the purest forms of unconditional love, and sometimes they deserve even more kindness and gentleness than humans receive. I have experience caring for pets with very different personalities, medical conditions, and emotional needs, including senior pets, rescue animals, anxious dogs, and cats requiring medication and special routines. About: I've been taking care of cats since I was a child and I have been dog sitting family dogs since I was a teenager. Some of my priorities are making sure all furry friends are comfortable while they are away from family and learning their habits so that I can best support their needs. Being in the company of animals brings me great joy so I try to make their time with me as engaging and serene as possible. :) I'm a full time student with flexible schedule as I only attend lectures and can study from most places. Every day looks different for me but I tend to have free mornings and a big block of free time for lunch! I make sure their living space is safe and check their mood to see what steps to take to make sure they can rest comfortably every night. Some examples of safety for me include checking that no food that's toxic is left out, induction stoves locked, windows closed and emergency grooming done (like nail clipping if its uncomfortable for them, or brushing matted fur if its starting to show up, all done if the pet is used to it of course). I keep in mind their energy levels, bowel movements and make sure to communicate any significant change of behavior to pet parents :)

At a clients house it is similar except any size dog or cat is good for me!
About: I grew up with family cats and dogs and adopted my own puppy at 17 and quickly realized how much work a pet of your own is! I’ve been lucky to live with cats and dogs of roommates of all dispositions (both the roommates and their pets) and now have a charmer of a big orange cat with my fiancé. I’m comfortable with puppies over 3 months old and mostly potty trained, I don’t mind mouthy or jumpy pups and am happy to discourage behaviors according to their training. I’ve had experience with palliative care for two beloved senior dogs that required a little extra help and care and am happy to show your old buddy patience and TLC. Happy to do easy walks around the block or take longer adventures in Oakland’s redwoods! For cats and dogs I am comfortable administering most medications. I’m currently on a long break from full time work and have open week day availability for walks and visits, and can be available weekends with extended notice Ask someone who always wants pictures of my cat, I am happy to send you as many photos of your pet as you would like! I have a keen attention to detail and an above average ability to follow instructions, and I’m happy to do things your way. I have a backseat dog hammock for my car that make sure dogs of all sizes are able to get comfortable.

About: I've grown up with big dogs and am now a dog and cat mom. Before my dog I boarded friends' dogs with me, watching them while they were away. My big dog is from the shelter and is fearful, so I have experience with shy shelter dogs, training, and managing their triggers. I also walk others' dogs. My schedule is flexible and is different depending on the day of the week. Communication is key , but I will try to make things work. At clients' homes I will follow their instructions and communicate any questions. I make sure the doors are locked when I leave, and try to be careful entering so animals don't potentially run away. Depending on instructions or pet temperaments, I will observe and work with them for enrichment and socialization needs. I make sure there is enough water in the bowls and feed as needed. For cats, I clean the litterboxes. They will not be in my home since I have pets.

“Tim is fantastic. He messages regularly and sends updates throughout the day and a ton of photos. I appreciate that he over communicates like “Alfalfa pooped twice today”. And he’s diligent about keeping Alfalfa clean which as a doodle mom is very important since he can get easily matted or even have random things stuck in his paws. His dog Coco is super sweet and gentle. I think Alfalfa had more energy than her but she’s an older dog and was very patient. I would highly recommend anyone to use Tim. And we plan on using him more often!”
