About: Hi everyone, I work in mental/behavioral health and am saving up for graduate school! I am very passionate about animals, especially dogs and cats. I moved to California from the Netherlands a few years ago. I am looking for new pet sitting clients in the East Bay or San Francisco. I can do overnight pet sitting as well as walks or visits during the day. I also live right by Lake Merritt so if you live nearby, I’d love to take your dog on walks around the lake. A full loop around the lake takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes (a little over 3 miles). I can pick up and drop off your dog at your house. I have several years experience in cat sitting as well as several years dog sitting and dog walking (middle-aged Labrador, middle-aged German Shepard mix, and puppy Border Collie). I work swing shift (roughly from 3-11pm) on Sunday-Thursday. So, I’m available for drop-in visits or walks during the morning/early afternoon. On Fridays and Saturdays, I might have availability but sometimes I have plans. Please just reach out to check if I’m available on those days! I can’t have pets at my apartment but at clients’ homes, we can play with toys, or we can walk around the neighborhood or to a nearby park. I like to know a little bit about them before I care for them so that I can try to make them feel comfortable being around me.

About: I have my doctorate in clinical psychology and love animals. I am not allowed to have my own pet so I love to pet sit! About: I grew up with cats and dogs. I was taught to care for them with kindness and patience. I was taught how to bottle feed, clean litter boxes, make sure bowls are clean and play with all pets to make sure they get the attention they deserve I’m available weekends starting Thursday for home drop ins or walks. Thursdays and Friday after 5:30pm, and Saturday and Sunday all day work best for home drop ins and walks I’m very active and can do long walks or plays. I can also do drop-ins. I’m flexible and communicative to ensure you don’t have any extra stressors and able to enjoy your travels/ days off.

My goal is to help you feel informed and reassured while giving your pet patient, attentive care that respects their personality, routine, and boundaries. My hands-on experience includes two and a half years caring for my rescued Chihuahua mix and two cats. I also volunteered socializing cats at a shelter when I was younger and, more recently, volunteered regularly at a farm animal sanctuary from April through October. About: Experience with dogs of all sizes and ages. I grew up with two pitbulls from puppyhood to old age, and I currently have a 10 year old chihuahua mix. I worked full time in animal care for 3 years. I'm currently an in-home healthcare provider for children with special needs, so I am very familiar with the power of kindness, patience, and play for animals and people alike. I typically start my workday around 2 pm, yet I have trouble sleeping in and will be out walking my dog around 7 am. My free time in the mornings allows for walks, training, and snuggles to be part of my daily routine. I am someone who likes having structure to follow and will respect procedures and expectations. Personally, my dog is crate trained and he will make sure that I tuck him in at the correct time every night, and I make sure he doesn't go places where he isn't allowed.

About: I've been dog sitting and cat sitting for a couple years now and I really love it. I have experience with kittens, adult cats, and senior cats. Also, I have experience with adult dogs, senior dogs, and a dog with Epilepsy and medication requirements. I currently work part-time. Depending on what your best friend needs, I will structure around that. Usually, for house sitting I do morning and nights, but I understand that each situation requires something different. My cat is an inside cat, she is fed twice a day. My dog he is medicated and fed twice daily, as well as walked twice daily. I have cared for elderly dogs who live almost completely inside. About: I've been a cat owner for most of my life. For my cat's final years, I dutifully managed her medications and special dietary needs to ensure she stayed healthy as long as possible. As such, I have great empathy for older and sick pets and am comfortable administering oral meds or even IV fluids for cats and small dogs. I am a software dev and work from home usually, so I can easily move locations especially for long term pet or house sitting. Happy to accommodate overnight and weekend stays. As mentioned, I cared for a sick cat for several years; I also help take care of a roommate's cat by ensuring he has clean water at all times, playing with him frequently, and feeding him his dinner when my roommate is away. I always have one ear open for keeping track of pets nearby, even when not on the clock.
