We are both home all day and will ensure your furry friend receives attention and care. While we do have the responsibility of shuttling our two young kids to school and activities, our schedules are adaptable to meet your dog's specific needs. Whether it's regular walks, a hike in the woods, playtime, or simply providing companionship, we can easily adjust our daily or weekly routines to ensure your dog's well-being and happiness. Your dog's needs will be our priority, and we can work with you to create an environment that aligns with their routine and preferences. Rest assured that your dog will never feel alone or neglected in our care. Please note that the daycare rate is for no more than 8 hours. Daycare for more than 8 hours will incur an additional charge.

Nestled into a hill, our nearly acre-sized fenced-in land offers ample space for dogs to explore, exercise, and have exciting adventures. We generally leave our kitchen door open all day so dogs can come and go as they please and one or both of us is usually outside as well. We understand that each dog has distinct needs, and we work to figure out their unique personalities to give them what they want and need. We are also happy to accommodate requests, including dog crating or any other specific requirements (except for prong choke collars and electric collars as research shows that it increases aggression in dogs and we believe in a rewards, not pain and punishment-based system of learning). Our family, including our 9-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter, will ensure your dog will become an honorary member of our family during their stay, enjoying the warmth and care that only a loving home can provide. We allow each dog to choose where they want to sleep (our room, the living room, our kids’ room), but our son loves it when they want to sleep in his room. We try to limit our pack to no more than two guest dogs at a time, but sometimes we may end up with more when an existing client needs help or due to other unforeseen circumstances. We also try to ensure that the dogs who will be here are well-suited to each other and may have to decline if we think there won’t be a good match with the first dog booked. Your beloved furry friend will receive plenty of exercise, socialization, and affection in a safe and inviting environment and their well-being and happiness our top priorities.

We welcome special needs and unique requests for your dog's individual care and are committed to accommodating specific requirements and going the extra mile to ensure your furry friend's comfort and well-being. We would also like to feel comfortable that your pup is well behaved around young children who are excited to cuddle and play with them. Please disclose these types of things at the time of your booking as it will help ensure a 5-star stay for your pup. For extraordinary requests or special trips (e.g. your dog can never be left alone, must be hiked 5 miles every day, or we need to take them to the vet), there will be an extra charge or premium rate adjustment. The daycare rate you see is for 8 hours, Monday-Friday. Over 8 hours will be an additional charge. Holiday, puppy, and special needs charges will be more.

We like to take the dogs on a hike (off-leash if they have good recall and you and we are comfortable with that) or long walk through the hills of our neighborhood. We often find that dogs get enough stimulation just running around in our yard. If your dog needs to be walked separately or can’t go to the woods, we can accommodate that. Your dog will have regular in/out privileges to our spacious, fenced-in backyard, and they'll have ample room for play and exploration. Unless we know a dog is prone to find and destroy items, we allow dogs free roam of most of our house as we know some dogs like to have quiet alone time or a change in scenery. Cuddle time and play time are offered throughout the day, ensuring your dog feels loved and cherished. For relaxation and rest, there are plenty of cozy spots available. And when it's time to sleep, your dog chooses where they will slumber. Your dog's happiness and well-being are our priority, providing them with a fulfilling and enjoyable stay in our care.

We (Beth & Jeff) have enjoyed a lifelong adoration for dogs, bringing a wealth of hands-on experience and understanding of their needs. From energetic puppies to gentle seniors, we have successfully raised and cared for dogs at every stage of life. Dogs are not just pets to us; they are cherished family members. We believe in the bond between humans and dogs, and couldn't imagine a world without their companionship. When your dogs are in our care, rest assured they will be treated as our own, with love, attention, and the utmost respect.

Jeff and Beth took care of our 45 pound Australian Labradoodle for four days while we attended our Granddaughter’s college graduation. Their yard and home are ideal for a medium sized dog. There is room to roam and also great security. They checked in daily with pictures and were easy to communicate with and accommodating. Willow would be happy to stay with them again.
Jeff and Beth were amazing! They sent so many photos with updates of Hobie all weekend. We could tell he was having a blast. They have such a great backyard for him to run around in! Cannot recommend them enough!
Another great stay for tubs! Beth and Jeff are continually the best hosts! They take great care of Tubs, send fun photo updates, and leave my dog happy as ever. Many thanks!
