About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for pets, primarily dogs and cats. Dog breeds include: French bulldog, German shepherd, Pitbull, Lab mixes, Terrier mixes, and other mixed breed dogs. I have experience co-raising a German Shepherd dog (Benny) from 8 weeks to 2+ years old. He was my buddy! My experience caring for dogs includes daily walking, play time, feeding, and giving bathes as needed. I have experience taking dogs to veterinary appointments and administering oral and topical medications as needed. I’ve primarily watched after family dogs over the many years. The dogs include: Mocha, Nemo, Sue, Satch, Simon, Daisy, Arthur, Opie, Benny, and Ziggy! I have a flexible work schedule that is fully remote so I am fully available to provide pet care, at your home or mine. Please communicate with me what you need so I can be sure to organize my day and time. Outside of pet care, I teach recreation studies to college students. I enjoy getting outside and would be happy to walk with your dog around the dog beach or your local neighborhood. I follow the care guidelines you provide for your pet, and take extra caution to be sure your pet is safe. That means I am sure to close gates and doors so your pet does not get out, and risk injury from going into the street. If I care for pets in your home, I will respect your space and keep it clean, in the same condition or better.

About: I love working with pets and working dogs! I’ve grown up with dogs all my life. From working, hunting dogs to couch potato’s, I’ve lived and experienced them all! Latest dog experience included owning 2 service dogs: Belgium Mal and GSD with consistent bite work! I intend on spending full-time with your pet/working fur baby. We’ll have scheduled breaks, playtime, potties, etc. to ensure your fur baby comes home without missing a beat! Your fur baby will have 100% of my attention in my secured home. About: I have always had pets, growing up it was cats and rats, now I have a senior Maltese cutie pie I adopted as a rescue 5 years ago. About: Even as I pursued a new path and became a geographer after earning my degree from UC Berkeley, my love for dogs has remained constant. Since 2011, I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all kinds...puppies to seniors, from Pomeranians to Labradors, and even the occasional Siamese cat. I truly enjoy being around animals and continue to offer dog boarding because I genuinely love their company. I share my home with Lola, a large, goofy, and very friendly pup who gets along with everyone—humans and dogs alike. As a result, I’m only able to board dogs who are also dog-friendly. I work from home so I am available for boarding and drop-in visits any day as long as I received advance notice, otherwise I am pretty flexible. My home is your dog home while you are away. It is dog proof, with no sharp corners, many rugs, and use of gates to limit room access when needed, I live in the neighborhood of Montclair in Oakland, a house with a garden and surrounded by nature.
