About: I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels, including feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic medications, and providing lots of attention and companionship. I’m very attentive to pets’ routines and comfort levels, and I always aim to make them feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while their owners are away. I also understand the importance of clear communication and sending regular updates and photos. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to spend quality time with pets throughout the day. I currently work full time with a work from home schedule 3 days a week, which gives me availability for walks, drop-ins, boarding, and extended care. I’m able to provide plenty of supervision, attention, exercise, and companionship to make sure pets are happy and comfortable in my care. I work from home 3 days a week (M W F). And I'm home most weekends. My job is flexible so as long as I don't have meetings I can take breaks throughout the day as needed for pets. I've taken my friend's dogs on walks during my work hours and given attention to pets during their stay, treats and cuddles :) I have an open space layout so I will be able to be close to the pet and see what they're doing while I'm home.

About: I have been around and taking care of animals since I was a kid! Growing up on my grandmas farm with 7 dogs, 5 horses, 9 cats and about 50 llamas taught me how to properly care for animals of all kinds, and how they can also take care of you! I had a pug named Fergus growing up and have lived with a pitbull mix for about 6 years, who I love to care for. I have also always had cats and have raised 3 rabbits! I love animals of all kinds, I can’t wait to meet yours ! I am an art student, and would love to care for your pet in my free time ! I’m available weekends and afternoons mon-friday ! I am not currently available available to host pets in my home but would love to visit your pet in your home to feed, give love and attention and let them out to run around and play games !

About: I absolutely love all animals! Growing up, my family always had a minimum of two dogs at a time. Since I was young, I have been trusted by friends and family members to watch over not only their pets, but their plants as well. As an adult living alone, I have only ever had 1 cat at a time in my home, however, my plant game has grown to a bit of a jungle! On top of taking care of animals, I also LOVE a clean house and I take it upon myself to always leave people’s homes cleaner than I found them in! I’m currently looking to open my own business doing just that: Pet sitting and deep cleaning while folks are out of town. In my opinion, there is nothing better than coming home from a vacation or a work trip to a clean home and a happy animal! I have been working with Meowtel watching cats for the last year and have found it to be exceptionally rewarding. Recently, my sweet cat passed away and I left my demanding job. Due to these circumstances I have decided that since I have the time and opportunity, opening my home to board would be a great way to expand my offerings. I look forward to meeting this community and giving dog (cat, plant, etc.) owners peace of mind while they travel, get stuck working a double, or just want to support their companion with an extra afternoon walk. I left my extremely demanding job in December after my cat got sick. I wanted to spend as much time with him as possible. Since his passing, I have focused on taking care of pets and cleaning homes. This has brought me more joy than any demanding corporate job, and I hope I can continue to work in this capacity for many years in the future. My schedule is very flexible! I am an animal lover living in an animal free home at this moment. Because of this, I am open to boarding. I am not concerned with animals who want to sit on the couch with me or lay on the bed, but I will follow the rules of what they’re allowed to do at home if you prefer that. My home will be their home, and I will do everything to make sure that they feel safe and cared for while in my hands. I’m an active person and love taking long walks and hikes. So, if that’s something that your dog is into, I am happy to schedule an adventure that meets their mileage needs! On the contrary, if you have a small dog or one who just wants to go out for a stroll around the block or to do their business in the grass, I’m happy to do that too! I have a small unfenced side yard to accommodate. I live on the second floor of an apartment building with no elevator, so if your pup is not able to do stairs and is too heavy to pick up, my home wouldn’t be a good fit.

About: Your cats will love me! 😺 ----------------------- Howdy! I have had the great pleasure of loving and taking care of many different pets—horses, reptiles, fish, dogs, and cats. Don’t tell the other species, but I have a special connection with and fondness for felines. (When I was an infant, Isadora the Siamese spooned me while I slept in my cradle. So, I consider myself part kitten.) Cats are my first crush, but sadly, my doggos (senior chihuahuas with attitude) are not cat fans, so I’m seeking out other folks’ kitties to give some affection to. (BTW: My partner volunteers at Oakland Animal Services and fosters unhoused dogs, and most recently, bunnies! -- so, we are an animal rescue family.) I'm versed in pill giving, administering subcutaneous injections (insulin, etc), giving fluids; I also adore all my elder or special needs kittenz. I am highly responsible, reliable, and detail-oriented. I am COVID vaccinated. I provide photo updates, so you can relax and refuel! Another fun fact: Cat Sitting is a full time thing for me; I'm no fly-by-night operation, and I love what I do! I'm available weekdays, weeknights, and weekends. I live near Piedmont Avenue, with easy access to the surrounding neighborhoods. I prefer local, so I can walk, but I do have a vehicle and take my kitty-care most anywhere. From Grand Lake to Piedmont to the Avenue to Temescal and beyond (Rockridge & South Berkeley, I'm looking at you 😺)! Previously, I opened and owned an art framing & gallery space (Panorama, on Grand Avenue); was a commercial photographer; and was a bookseller -- I also currently freelance in the digital realm and pursue art making. About: Looooove animals, especially cats. Grew up surrounded by them at my grandma’s little farm, then when my mom and I lived in the city. Didn’t matter where; we always had pets. Recently moved to Oakland to be near my sister, and now working as a personal assistant to one family. Worked as a hotel trainer for many years and this is the first time I have some extra time. And I thought to myself, what better way to have fun with the extra hours than to meet the pets in Oakland! I am experienced in taking care of cats and dogs, from feeding to grooming to playtime and walks as well as giving pills and trimming nails. I can do drop-in visits with your furbabies or walk your doggies anytime before 9am or after 330pm on weekdays, and any time at all on weekends. I make them feel special and loved during drop-in visits. Lots of pets and scritches and if allowed, belly rubs and brushing. Maybe a treat or two, some play time. I typically follow the pet parents instructions on feeding, grooming, etc. And making sure their fur baby is well.

“Irina is great. We set up a pre-meet with her and she was exactly on time and asked good questions about our dog. We departed early in the morning for our trip, and Irina was scheduled to come to the house at about 10 am to take him out for a walk. We were a bit nervous because it was our first time with Irina, but she arrived exactly on time for the dog walk. She checked-in afterward with us and sent a photo as well We think that Irina is excellent and strongly recommend her.”
