“Kaitlin checked in on our two cats while we were away for three weeks. She played with our very active cat and tired him out enough that he didn't tear up anything around the house. She was also able to entice our other very nervous kitty out to play. The cats were perfectly set with food, water, and litter the whole time she was taking care of them. She even indulged our active kitty on a walk, which we have never trusted a pet sitter to do before. She managed to keep him safe and occupied while he sniffed around the neighborhood and climbed trees. She sent us some very cute pictures of their adventure. Kaitlin has also been working in vet medicine for several years. Our cats luckily did not have any health problems while she was taking care of them, but we felt comfortable leaving them with her if something did come up. We also asked her some vet questions we had been wondering about and she had very helpful answers. Overall, she went above and beyond taking care of our cats.”

About: I've taken care of foster dogs and cats off and on since college 20 years ago in addition to pet sitting for friends and neighbors. I have extra experience with senior and under-socialized cats. I primarily work as a personal trainer in San Francisco a few mornings a week and often have extra free time in the afternoons, evenings and when clients travel. I can't think of a better use of free time than spending it with dogs and cats while making sure they get the care they need. I love to travel so I know what a huge relief it is to have my pets well taken care of when I'm away. I know routines are very important and comforting to most animals and therefore I will always strive to follow given instructions as closely as possible. I will provide a recap of each visit including photos unless owners opt out.

Besides being reliable, she is also deeply thoughtful and detailed oriented. When handing our pup over to her, she's mindful to ask of routines that our dog is used to (including walk pattern/feeding times) in order to minimize stress for our pup. Michelle has also housesat for us with our pup several times, and she was communicative the whole time we were gone. She would send us updates with photos of our pup on her walks/during their snuggle time when we were away, and it gave us such peace of mind. Our pup threw up one time (which she does when she drinks too fast) and Michelle was quick to notify us and ask how to best care for her. Michelle is definitely our go to person to take care of Denali when we're away because we can count on her to take care of our pup like we would, and give her the attention and adoration that she deserves!”

For drop-ins and walks, I focus on providing attentive and personalized care. During drop-ins, I ensure pets receive their meals, refresh water bowls, and enjoy some playtime or companionship. On walks, safety and enjoyment are prioritized, with leashed strolls tailored to their energy levels.
