We then take a quick walk during lunch to stretch our legs and say hi to our friends at Rocky’s. After work we love to be in nature and hit the trails or parks to get some steps in! After dinner I love nothing more than to cuddle with the pups on my couch before bed! We have an outdoor deck that the dogs always have access to. Mostly serves as a sunbathing lounge 😎. The deck is also equipped with grass patches for easy potty breaks. Your pup with have the company of my dog, Penelope. She is a playful and well behaved French bulldog. I have a robust routine for her to keep her healthy and prevent her from being affected from her predisposed IVDD. I can easily incorporate any special needs or request that your day may need.

About: I’ve been lucky to grow up surrounded by both dogs and cats, and I can’t remember a time when there wasn’t at least one furry friend in my home. My pup, Ray Charles, and I truly enjoy the company of dogs of all sizes and personalities and foster on the side as well. I personally used Rover for my pup when I traveled for work so I treat every sitting as if it were my own pup. From outdoor exercise, park playtime, and lots of frequent updates, I will ensure your pup is having a lovely time and you have peace of mind! To make sure everyone is comfortable, I like to arrange a friendly meet-and-greet before we set anything in stone! I work remote and have a lot of flexibility of schedule. Ray Charles and I spend our days exploring the beautiful parks and trails of the East Bay—and we’d be thrilled to have your pup join us for some fun walks and fresh air! Ray and I live in a cozy but spacious one-bedroom with a backyard, perched at the top of a hill in a safe, peaceful neighborhood that’s perfect for walks and outdoor play.

“Meagan was wonderful! We had a last-minute need for care on Thanksgiving for Rory, our 6-month-old Husky mix, and Meagan really helped us out. We scheduled a meet and greet for the prior Sunday so that Rory could meet the other doggo friends she'd be spending the day with. Rory loved sniffing around the backyard and eating plants (sorry!!). Meagan watched her all day on Thanksgiving, and based on the photos she shared, Rory clearly had a blast! We're really grateful for the care that day, and to have such a great option for future care. About: I managed a pet sitting service for 4 years with more than 400 clients and owned my own pet sitting service for 2 years, providing above and beyond pet care: dog walking, boarding, overnight house sitting, cat sitting, and other small pet care. I also take great pictures of your pets and provide detailed notes while you're away! As a pet owner myself, I know first hand how hard it is to leave your pets at home. If I am to stay at your home, I can also take care of daily house duties like rotating lights, bringing in mail/packages, and watering plants. (I'm a skilled plant owner as well!) I'm trained in pet CPR and first aid and am skilled at recognizing dog behavioral cues. While I'm not a trainer, I'm happy to work with your dog on existing commands and basic commands. I have a very flexible, remote job and will prioritize your pet and it's needs! I take my own dog for hikes, and play dates 3-4 times a week (on top of regular walks!) and look forward to having your dog join our pack! I have a dog of my own who loves to play. Ideally, Panda can come stay with me in your home or your dog must get along with mine. I do provide a crate should your dog prefer that in my home.

About: I'm a very responsible middle-aged woman who works from home and would be happy to care for your fur baby. Eventually I'll get a dog of my own! Our household consists of me and my partner, Rocky. We both grew up with pets, but currently don't have any. I work about 15-25 hours a week from home so I have plenty of time throughout the day for walks around the neighborhood and trips to the Alameda dog park. My partner and I are homebodies and enjoy spending time working on our house and gardening. I have a fenced in yard and several rooms of my house can be sectioned off to allow for large spaces to hang out, if the dog needs it's own space. I also have plenty of room to set up a crate. I do not have any pets. I would love to get a dog, but I travel to Vancouver 4 times a year to visit my mom in long term care and occasionally I have to travel for a week or more for work and I don't want to leave a pet for that long. My partner goes to the office Monday - Friday.
