To make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved when you are away. Since my husband and I both work from home, our schedules are flexible. This means your dog will have constant companionship throughout the day. A typical day includes: Outdoor playtime at various parks, 3 dedicated walks, and lots of snuggles. There are steps to my apartment and it's helpful if your dog is comfortable with stairs, or is 15lbs or under and can be carried. I live in a low traffic quiet neighborhood near a lot of parks and pretty outdoor spaces for walks. And there is some great bird and squirrel watching from the balcony doors.

About: I’ve been lucky to grow up surrounded by both dogs and cats, and I can’t remember a time when there wasn’t at least one furry friend in my home. My pup, Ray Charles, and I truly enjoy the company of dogs of all sizes and personalities and foster on the side as well. I personally used Rover for my pup when I traveled for work so I treat every sitting as if it were my own pup. From outdoor exercise, park playtime, and lots of frequent updates, I will ensure your pup is having a lovely time and you have peace of mind! To make sure everyone is comfortable, I like to arrange a friendly meet-and-greet before we set anything in stone! I work remote and have a lot of flexibility of schedule. Ray Charles and I spend our days exploring the beautiful parks and trails of the East Bay—and we’d be thrilled to have your pup join us for some fun walks and fresh air! About: *I only board dogs from one home at a time* I love to jog around Lake Merritt, and I'd be happy to take your fur baby along for a run! I've cared for dogs and cats, healthy and sick, with very specific dietary restrictions and activity needs. I wish I could have my own pet, but since I travel pretty often, this is the next best thing. :-) I’m a Product Manager with a hybrid work schedule. Rest assured, I can easily get from work to home on in-office days for walks/drop-ins if needed. I also work at a dog friendly office. I am available most days for drop-ins 2x/day. On weekday evenings, I typically go on runs (with/without dogs!). Expect many photos of your fur baby while you're away! I'm happy to drop in to check on food, water, litter (for cats), and take your pup on walks. I am very detail oriented, so if you have very particular instructions regarding diet or preferences while outside, you can trust me to follow them. For boarding, I have bowls for water and food as well as doggy waste bags. You would need to provide their food, treats, toys, (litter for kitties), and anything else to make their stay more comfortable!

About: I managed a pet sitting service for 4 years with more than 400 clients and owned my own pet sitting service for 2 years, providing above and beyond pet care: dog walking, boarding, overnight house sitting, cat sitting, and other small pet care. I'm trained in insulin injections and skilled at applying ear drops, administering pills, and other basic daily medicinal needs. I also take great pictures of your pets and provide detailed notes while you're away! As a pet owner myself, I know first hand how hard it is to leave your pets at home. If I am to stay at your home, I can also take care of daily house duties like rotating lights, bringing in mail/packages, and watering plants. (I'm a skilled plant owner as well!) I'm trained in pet CPR and first aid and am skilled at recognizing dog behavioral cues. While I'm not a trainer, I'm happy to work with your dog on existing commands and basic commands. I have a very flexible, remote job and will prioritize your pet and it's needs! I take my own dog for hikes and play dates 3-4 times a week (on top of regular walks!) and look forward to having your dog join our pack! I have a two dogs of my own and your pup must get along with mine. I do provide a crate should your dog prefer that in my home. We have a fenced in yard for late night outs. We have plenty of toys to share and can easily manage any food resource issues.

About: Animals have always been a very important part of my life. Growing up, my mother operated a small pet rescue and animal shelter organization in Asia, and from a very young age I helped care for rescued dogs, cats, and abandoned animals alongside her. Over the years, we helped rescue and rehome thousands of animals, many of whom came from difficult or traumatic situations. caring for animals feels completely natural to me. I do not see pets as “just animals.” I genuinely believe they are family members who deserve love, patience, emotional safety, and respect. In many ways, I believe animals carry one of the purest forms of unconditional love, and sometimes they deserve even more kindness and gentleness than humans receive. I have experience caring for pets with very different personalities, medical conditions, and emotional needs, including senior pets, rescue animals, anxious dogs, and cats requiring medication and special routines. I am highly attentive to behavioral changes, feeding routines, emotional comfort, cleanliness, and creating calm environments where animals feel safe and relaxed.
