I’ve loved dogs for most of my life. About 16 years ago, I rescued a stray mother dog and brought her into my home, where she safely gave birth to her puppies. I cared for the little family until every puppy found a loving forever home. That experience deepened my love for dogs and showed me how rewarding it is to help them feel safe, loved, and happy. After moving to the United States, I began caring for dogs through Rover. I am working full time at Rover to help care for doggies, so I am always there for them. Since I am working full time for this, I can closely follow the doggie’s routines and note any special care they may need. In Irvine, I was grateful to earn five-star reviews and the trust of many wonderful families, with several becoming repeat clients. Now our family has moved to Berkeley because my daughter will be attending UC Berkeley. Hence, I’m accepting new clients in Berkeley!! I’m excited to continue caring for dogs in our new community. When choosing our new home, one of my top priorities was finding a place with a fully fenced private backyard so visiting dogs would have a safe, secure space to play, explore, and relax. Our new home has a lovely private backyard where doggies can walk in and out of our house freely and enjoy their time in the backyard as well. We also have a huge park (San Pablo Park) near our home, with an huge dog-friendly grass field, and I usually take doggies there for a walk. With 16 years of hands-on dog care experience, I understand that every dog has a unique personality and routine. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, senior, recovering from surgery, or simply needs extra love and attention, I’ll care for them with patience, kindness, and the same love I’d give my own family. My goal is simple: while you’re away, I want you to have complete peace of mind, knowing your dog is safe, happy, and loved like a member of the family. I also share daily photos and updates so you always know how your dog is doing while you’re away.

Hong was AMAZING with my dog! I could not have asked for a better daycare experience. Hong sent updates all day long, so I always knew exactly what my dog was up to — plus she took amazing photos! She followed my dog’s schedule closely and made sure she was playing and active throughout the day. My dog can be nervous around men, but Hong’s husband was so patient and loving with her — he took the time to get to know her, and by the end of the day she was curled up cuddling with him. Honestly, I think my dog would rather live with them at this point! They communicated through a translator app and were incredibly responsive and easy to coordinate with. Can’t recommend Hong enough. We’ll absolutely be booking again.

Hong was so sweet! We left our 1.5-year-old puppy with her for the whole day, and she sent so many updates and photos throughout, which I really appreciated. I’m always worried about leaving my pup with a sitter, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much fun our pup seemed to have. I could tell he was very loved and well taken care of. They also have a clean home with a nice garden! I’ll definitely be choosing Hong again. Thank you, Hong! :)
Hong was great! I had a last minute booking request and I have never used her before so I was a bit nervous. She also doesn’t speak English so I wasn’t sure if it’ll go well. However, she used a Translation app and communication was not a problem at all. She made sure I was always up to date with how Roux was doing and made me feel so comfortable. I always felt like I knew what Roux was doing. I highly recommend her!
Hong and her husband, Chen, who mainly looked after Amber & Daphne while I had to go on a biz trip, were AMAZING! It was my first time having a sitter come to our home and stay here with my fur babies, so I was a little nervous. We had a meet & greet at our home and they made me feel at ease! They constantly provided me updates and professional photos throughout each day. Chen even cleaned up my backyard where Amber would go potty on her own thru the pet door. I really appreciate their help and would definitely book them again!
Wow! What an incredible sitter Hong was. This is the first time I have ever been away from my fur babies and not worried once. She was so communicative the entire time and I came back to happy dogs and a pristine house. If I could give her 10 stars I would! Thank you again Hong. ❤️

Schedule
I’m currently not working and can spend time with doggies all day long. I am able to provide well-rounded care to them and could spare lots of energy and love to them.

I provide calm, structured, and attentive care tailored to each pet’s routine. In my home, pets are cared for in a clean, safe, and quiet environment with plenty of supervision. I follow the owner’s instructions closely for feeding, walking, and rest, and I keep daily routines as consistent as possible to help pets feel secure. I make sure pets get appropriate exercise, fresh water, timely meals, and lots of gentle attention. I also monitor behavior, appetite, and energy levels, and I communicate promptly with owners if anything seems off. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain the pet’s familiar routine, providing reliable care, companionship, and updates so owners can feel at ease.
