“Thank you Greg !!!”

“Matt was excellent with our dog. Promote and punctual. The pictures should how much fun she was having with him. I would highly recommend Matt.”

“Stephanie has been so great with my dog Maya. After starting a new job and moving to a new city, I didn’t have any support to help with my dog. Stephanie has been so helpful with all these changes. Maya can be a bit nervous around new people but she warmed up to Stephanie really fast and gets so excited to see her! Stephanie is so great- she is a very reliable person, trustworthy, a great communicator and great with dogs. I’m so happy I found her and that Maya really enjoys her company!”

“We just moved and we’re in need of a last minute dog sitter. Megan was super responsive and made everything so easy for us. She asked all of the right questions and made sure that she knew the info she needed to watch our dog as well as our house. She kept us updated the whole time we were gone which made us feel even more relax while away. Upon coming home, we could tell our pup had a good time with Megan and our house was in the same condition that we left it. We are thrilled to have found Megan! Thank you for taking care of our pup!”

About: I have a special intuition or talent for understanding all animals. I have had many pets including dogs and cats. I am a farrier and horse trainer and have received an award of recognition for helping save wild horses in New Mexico. I live near Lake Merritt and enjoy meeting other folks with dogs when I’m out walking our chihuahuas. I have cared for pets and other animals in California, Hawaii, New Mexico, Nevada, and Oklahoma. I have references and I’m an older person who is sober, dependable, and trustworthy. Most of all, I have a love for animals and a unique ability to understand their needs and the nonverbal cues they give us to communicate their needs. I would be happy to care for your pets anytime. I am free any day of the week and have a very flexible schedule. I love working with animals and want to continue caring for pets. I have been a homeowner and understand how important your home and privacy are so I will respect your space well. I have been entrusted with people’s homes and properties and take that seriously. Of course, your pet’s well-being, comfort, and happiness is my priority and I know how to gain their trust and treat them with love. I am gentle with pets and have two tiny chihuahuas that are somewhat delicate but I have had big dogs including golden retrievers, a standard poodle, cow dogs, and a lab-pit mix, so I also know how to play with dogs that need more fun. Also, I have always had cats and I’m used to having them sleep on me and play with me. I have traveled with cats and doctored sick cats. I have had house cats we kept inside and cats that went outside. I have saved cats at barns and even from dumpsters. I understand how to interact with cats in a gentle quiet manner that helps them feel safe.

“Sophie has been amazing with my girl Rosie as she adjusts to city life. She has made a huge impact on keeping her calm and helping keep her active by giving her good exercise and working with to stay calm and focused while encountering squirrels, other dogs and loud noises on their walks. I have noticed such a change due to Sophie's interventions. Sophie is prompt, communicative and kind. A one of a kind! Rosie adores her!”

“Wes and Margot had a lovely evening walk with Charlii. Thanks so much!!”

“Jennifer was lovely, attentive, and a great communicator. We just adopted our dog and he has little bursts of aggression and Jennifer was kind enough to come by before their first walk to test the waters. Everything turned out great and Jennifer sent updates and pictures throughout his walks. We will definitely work with her again.”

“Erin is fantastic and takes really good care of my dog, Sansa, when I’m away. She is punctual, reliable, provides regular updates and is someone I trust to be with Sansa and makes sure she is cared for!”

“Sofia is the absolute best! She is so helpful, communicative, caring, kind, and accommodating. Not only does she care about your pup, she cares about you & that you feel comfortable as well. Such a great human and my favorite dog walker / friend to Forrest. 10/10 recommend!”

About: I have a true passion for caring for any and all pets. It started for me over 20 years ago when I partnered with a local non-profit shelter, I fostered several pets that had been severely injured due to accidents and needed to be rehabilitated back to health. It broke my heart to know that they would be tossed out when all they needed was patience and love to heal. I have cared for many, many dogs, cats, rabbits, etc to date. And I just love to see them all flourish and be happy. This is currently my full-time job, I am fully available to care for any and all of your pet care needs. From walks, potty breaks, to overnights in your home. I am extremely safety focused with any and all pets, I will follow ALL pet parent directions to ensure proper feeding, walking, treat feeding, and medication administering if needed. I also pay a great deal of attention to the pet(s) behavior/body language as I never want them to feel uncomfortable in any way.

“Esteban is awesome! He takes good care of Sunny, my terrier puppy. And sends me lots of detailed updates and wonderful photos. Sunny seems very relaxed and happy after walks/hangs with Esteban. Thank you so very much for all that you do!”

“Jacqueline was so fantastic with Rufus! She was comfortable with my giant puppy, was helpful in reinforcing training with him, and was very easy to communicate with. She was a wonderful dog walker. I would ABSOLUTELY hire her over and over!”

“Tara took great care of Ivan.”

“Absolutely fantastic dog walker! Jessica is great with my animals, always showing kindness and care. Punctuality is never an issue; they arrive on time without fail. Communication is a breeze, making it easy to connect and share updates. I feel completely trustworthy leaving my pets in her hands. Highly recommend”

About: I had a full grown cat in my crib as a baby, my parent's told me I would feed it my bottle. I moved to SC to live with my grandmother when I was young. She was a nurse and spent a lot of time helping the local animal shelter. At most, 20 kittens or puppies would be at her house. Usually the animals were malnourished or sick, she would try to get them healthy enough to adopt. That's probably why I love cats and dogs as much as I do. I've adopted 2 dogs, 1 cat from the humane society as an adult. The first dog I adopted was a feral puppy, I adopted him bc I wanted to see why my grandmother never would allow feral animals in her home. I had him for 14 wonderful years but it did take a lot of training and patience. The last dog I owned was a 1 year old pit from a kill shelter. I was able to train this dog not to bite and protect it's owner without biting. I love pets, I know more than your regular person on what types of food/treats to give a dog. For example, if your dog eats a couple pecans, that's bad news. I also know people can be very particular of what they want their animals eating, even if it's a treat. I'd never give someone else's pet a treat without their consent. My job revolves around fixing coffee machines and that business isn't as busy as it used to be prior to the pandemic. I have plenty of free time and I understand how important a routine is in young dogs/cats and I'm willing to help out in any way I possibly can. Currently my roommate has a dog that isn't friendly around other dogs, it's a 9 year old Shiba, and I've learned those breeds are some of the most stubborn dogs. I feed this dog, wash her, and trim du claws and nails. When my roommate is out of town, I let the dog sleep in my bed even though I can't stand how much she sheds. I have a clean background, I've never been in trouble for stealing bc my parents brought me up not to do that. Prior to moving out to CA to work on coffee machines, I spent 17 year's working for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage department. I didn't love my job which is why I'm out here now. My roommate I've known since high school, he'll confirm you won't have to worry when you're out of town.

About: I am a lifelong dog lover with a soft spot for high-energy pups! I grew up with dogs and rescued my first on my own in my twenties — a spirited border collie mix who taught me all about the power of patience, structure, and plenty of exercise. It was a challenge I took on with enthusiasm, and I’ve loved working with dogs ever since. Though my apartment isn’t dog-friendly right now, I’d love to put my energy and experience to good use walking and caring for your pup. I’m calm, consistent, and know when to be fun — and when to be firm. Whether your dog needs a long walk, a good jog, or just a steady routine, I’m here to help them stay happy, healthy, and well-loved. I am a musician, so my schedule is flexible and open especially during the weekdays. I am a good fit for last minute needs as my schedule can be so fluid. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize their comfort, routine, and safety above all. I follow any instructions closely, respect your space, and make sure your pet feels secure and stress-free. Whether it’s locking up carefully, cleaning up after playtime, or recognizing your pet’s unique needs, I treat every home and animal with the same care I’d want for my own.

“Ernesto is a very knowledgeable animal caregiver. He is timely and communicative which made everything feel very consistent and secure — exactly what you want when someone else is caring for your pet. My dogs absolutely love him and get so excited to see him every time he shows up. Even my cat who is scared of most people goes up to him to greet him. He works at barns with horses professionally and I can absolutely see that animal experience come through in how my pets respond to him. I have and would continue to recommend him to anybody looking for someone to care for their pet!”

12. Alejandro P.
“Alejandro is the best; I was a little bit hesitant about hiring a complete stranger to come and stay in my house and to watch over my dog but Alejandro put those concerns to rest. We received updates throughout the day, without having to ask, which helped put some of my concerns to rest. He is super clean and respectful, my house looked like he had not even been there (he was, we check the cameras). The biggest testament to Alejandro’s professionalism came from our fur baby, Abby, she didn’t want to leave his side when it came time to drop her off and as a dog owner, that alone is all the proof I needed to know she was treated well. Not only will I definitely hired Alejandro again, I will tell everyone I know about him!”

20. Tarah W.
“I highly recommend Tarah as a pet caregiver! She’s taken care of my dog at different points in his life — when he was a puppy, again a few years later, and a handful of times in between. Each time, she was super reliable, loving, and genuinely cared about his well-being. I think he likes her more than me now! Ha She quickly became not just someone I trusted with my dog, but also a friend. She’s also just great with animals in general — nurturing, active, and always goes the extra mile to make sure they feel comfortable and loved. I always felt at ease knowing my dog was in such good hands. He loves it when she brings her guitar!! If you’re looking for someone who truly loves animals and treats them like her own, Tarah is amazing.”
