About: My family’s had 2 Havanese dogs a little over 3 years now and I take care of them regularly when they go out for the night or leave town. In addition I occasionally sit for family friends who have a Yorkie and used to watch a neighbor’s cat when she was still with us. Most animals find me agreeable and I try to be consistent and loving with any younger ones so that they’re shaped into the best possible pets. I’ve recently left my long-term job to focus on watching/walking pets. I do some gig work to make ends meet but my main passion right now is animal care. I have a spacious loft apartment in Chinatown Oakland in a very safe neighborhood just a few minutes walk from Lake Merritt. Crating (with one provided for me) in the apartment is an option as well as my sectional couch or rug depending on your animal’s preferences.

About: I've grown up with pets (i.e. dog, cat, hamster, bird) for most of my life. I had a rescue family dog for over 10 years and my own pet cat for 3 years yrs before moving to CA. I've pet say for over 30 dogs and over 10 cats, along with occasional reptiles, rodents and even chickens. I know how to read animals and build their trust so that they feel safe and loved. I'm a social worker for my day job and I enjoy being able to care for pets part-time as well. I live walking distance from Lake Merritt, which is perfect for walks. I'm very responsible and I love taking pet pictures, so you can be sure to get as many updates from me as you'd like. Know that I'll care for your pet as if they were my own😊! About: Being bilingual, fear-free and pet CPR certified, I can ensure your pet is in safe hands. We use LIMA & positive reinforcement training methods during our visits I also work full time so at the moment I am only available 3 days a week; Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Those days I am available any time I have my own car and can transport to your location and send updates with media and a final summary of how the walk went

About: I have cared for multi-pet households. I have experience feeding, brushing, changing litter, and administering medication. I love animals of all sorts. I am also good with them. I am good at reading their body language, and a lot of them gravitate towards me for whatever reason. They tend to be comfortable with my presence. I am between jobs at the moment, so that means I am somewhat more flexible to work around your schedule. I am a little bit busy with stuff in my personal life, and obviously I have boundaries about when I can and can't be at your home and how much work I want to take on, but the lack of structure in my life right now means we have more options for how I can show up for your pets. I am not in school either at the moment. I am not planning to have this be my only source of income, but for now I am flexible. I can't have pets come to my apartment; it is too small and I don't live on the bottom floor so it would be too much of a hassle to take them outside. I can only come to your home. I am very respectful of boundaries and property when I enter someone else's home. I will pay close attention to your instructions about how to care for your pets and any important other details I need to know. I am responsible and detail oriented, so you can trust me in your home and with your animals. I care that my clients feel secure with me being there while they are away.

About: I’ve take care of dogs of family and friends of various sizes, breeds, and ages and love them as if they were my own! I am able to play with and walk them regularly and can accommodate to whatever special care they need. I work a hybrid 9-5 job and am usually available on the weekends for pet care. Mid-week arrangements may be accepted if discussed in advance so I can schedule my “work from home” days to accommodate. I live in condo complex that has a closed off large courtyard. My home has animal friendly plants, and unfriendly plants kept out of reach.

About: I hang out with cats pretty often and would love to spend more time with them! My friend loves my cat sitting so much that she flies me out to Seattle just to catsit! I have a pretty flexible day job and have time to look after pets. I usually like to do drop-ins around midday or later. Weekends work too! I am very respectful of others' homes and love to send pictures of pets to their owners because I know how much they miss their fur babies!
