About: I had a dog for 15 years and while we are holding out on getting a new one for a few years till we stop traveling so much, we would love to hang with yours periodically when in town! We have a fenced in yard to throw a ball in (and a six and nine year old who never tire in doing so) and love taking walks to all the local Piedmont parks with a pup. My husband is mildly allergic, so unfortunately only able to take in non shedding, hypoallergenic poodle type mixes. And of course dogs need to be kid friendly, but my kiddoes are very sweet and gentle with dogs and will give the dogs lots of pets and affection in return. My husband and I both predominately work from home so there's always someone around to love on a furry friend or take a break to get outside for a walk. I predominately work from home and I love frequent walks with a pup. We live close to many Piedmont parks which is a great place to go and visit other dogs or just explore some new grounds. I have a fenced yard and loving older gentle children who adore pets. I can crate your dog if desired to sleep, but also have an 8 year old that would be very happy to snuggle if preferred. You can trust that we will care for your pups as if they are our very own family dog for the duration of their stay.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. We always had pets growing up. I work from home and watch one dog at a time, giving them the attention and care they need. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time for walks, play, and pets. I am able to accommodate to the dog’s that I’m watching schedule. I live in a dog friendly neighborhood that is great for walks. I make sure dogs are well fed and will cook for them if needed/wanted. I am also comfortable giving dogs medication they may need.

I finally decided to share myself - It takes a village and animals should be shared and socialized. My dog is my shadow and he does well with a companion. About: At my house, your dog will be in a cozy family environment with my two friendly pugs! Other than my two dogs, yours will be the only dog in the house. I only accept one dog at a time! No contact with unknown dogs over here :) After years of watching dogs for friends and family, I decided it’s time to take it professional! I am a knowledgeable dog lover, a remote worker, and I have a great (fenced!) backyard. After an early wake up and garden time, we have puppy breakfast and then a snuggle sesh! During the day we alternate between downtime in the office/free roaming and outdoor breaks when weather allows. Outings happen in the evening, we love the east bay regional parks! If we don’t have time for an outing, we bust out the backyard toys to still get in a good chunk of playtime :) Banshee (1.5, pug mix) is always down to play tag with pups that have more energy, and Azula (6, pug) is ready for a couch nap partner all day long My large backyard is fully fenced, to keep my two small dogs safe. Even so, we never leave dogs unsupervised! I am a lover of (force free!!) crate training to keep dogs safe and secure when left alone for short periods of time, but as a remote worker this is rarely necessary. I am knowledgeable of plants and foods that are dog toxic, and am experienced in dealing with allergies and other minor health issues and I am comfortable giving medication.

About: I'm an outdoorsy, active sitter who loves getting dogs outside and moving, but I’m just as happy hanging back with pups who prefer to relax. As a runner, I’m great at helping high-energy dogs burn off steam with runs, long walks, and playtime so they come home happy and tired. I’m good at reading what each dog needs and matching their vibe and I'm just as comfortable with energetic young dogs as I am with older pups who need a slower, more patient pace. Whether your dog wants adventure or just some chill company, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I currently have a very flexible schedule, and I'm more than happy to work something out. Weekdays work best, early mornings or anything before 5pm, though I'm happy to be flexible! If your dog is with me they'll have ample time to relax, get outside or play some tug of war. I'm very perceptive of animals state's of mind and make every effort to make sure they're getting what they need.
