About: I have a pup named Frida who is a rescue and has taught me so much about patience and care. I’ve grown up with dogs and have helped sit for friends dogs. I am very observant and attentive of dog behaviors, personalities, and matching their energy. As a Rover user and dog mom I am very amenable to the level of care and love your pup may need 🌞 I’m currently a full-time student halfway into my Master’s program to be an Art Therapist. My program is online with a lot of flexibility for visits and walks-great for me and your pup! In a client’s home I am mindful of existing protocols and placements of items. This means knowing what treats can be given and when, where the leashes/toys go, enforcing established rules while keeping a mindful presence.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and grew up with two cats and a dog. Today, I have two cats of my own and understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. As a graduate student in Counseling Psychology, I value patience, responsibility, communication, and attentiveness. I know that every pet has a unique personality and routine, and I take the time to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, feeding, companionship, or extra attention while you’re away, I’ll treat them like family. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pets are in good hands. I’m currently a graduate student in Counseling Psychology, and my class schedule varies by semester. Most of my classes take place in the evenings between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM, which leaves me available during many daytime hours for pet care, walks, and drop-in visits. I’m also available on weekends with advance notice, although my weekend availability can vary depending on personal and school commitments. I do my best to communicate clearly and respond promptly so we can find a schedule that works well for you and your pet. I understand that trust is one of the most important parts of pet care. When caring for pets, I take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and any special instructions so they feel comfortable and secure. I prioritize safety, consistency, and clear communication, and I’m happy to provide updates and photos while you’re away. As a lifelong pet owner and current cat parent, I know how important it is to have someone dependable caring for your animals. I will always treat your pets and home with respect and care.

About: My pet care experience includes looking after cats, dogs, fish, and hamsters. I'm happy to maintain litter boxes, take dogs on long walks and play fetch, spend time with cats, administer pills and medications to any animal (even if they are not excited about it), and provide pets and scritches whenever needed I'm currently working 8-4:30 with open availability every early morning, evening, and weekend from now until June 6! During the summers, my availability will be completely open! I am experienced caring for pets in other people's homes, but unfortunately not in my own because I have two rescued cats of my own. I love taking dogs on walks, feeding and spending time with cats, and looking after all types of animals in your home!

I also worked as a kennel assistant at a veterinary hospital for 4 years, caring for dogs and administering meds, and at a wildlife rehabilitation center for 2 years. About: I'm a former Animal and Veterinary Science teacher (6years) who now teaches here in Oakland! I have experience with high energy dogs who needs lots of play and long walks, but also love to have couch potatoes here with me. Is separation anxiety is a concern, no worries I can give them my undivided attention! My number 1 priority will always be your animals safety, health, and comfort. I can follow any structures you've set for them. I can't wait to meet your pet! Like I mentioned I am a teacher, which means I have some down time this summer! These means I am open all day including weekends. I am in apartment, but your fur babies are welcome and safe in my care. My goal is to keep your pet happy and to keep them on their routine. So these means I can crate them if needed or even let them nap on my couch.
