“Sherry is an AMAZING dog sitter!! I trusted her to care for my sweet but nervous 50lb girl, Ellie, and I could not have asked for a better sitter. Sherry was so thorough, she sent plenty of updates throughout and put me at ease! She was super responsive to my dog’s needs, and I could see Ellie just melting and falling in love with her through the updates. She’s got a lovely, clean and safe apartment and she is obviously someone who knows dogs well. I would trust Sherry with dog sitting ANY day! Highly recommend.”

“My son’s dog Dobby stayed with Anthony and Nikita for about 10 days, and our experience couldn’t have been any better. Both are genuinely great, sweet people who love dogs. We did a meet and greet before dropping Dobby off, which I think was very helpful and put Dobby at ease when we finally dropped him off. They were very kind and attentive to Dobby’s needs. I was concerned about Dobby staying in someone else’s house with another dog because he is a rescue and he’s kind of skittish, but Dobby and Mia got along really well. Nikita sent me daily updates and photos and that was very reassuring. I also really appreciated the fact that they took Dobby out on hikes and walks with them. That was a real plus, since Dobby is an active dog. I would highly recommend Anthony and Nikita to anyone who is looking for a pet sitter. I’ll be using them again in the future when I get a new dog!!! :)”

“Roger loved staying with Kelly! He came home so happy, well-fed, and clean!! Kelly has a true love for animals and it shows. She provided us with updates, photos, and videos and they were a treat! Highly recommend :)”

“Thank you so much for taking such good care of our love bug. Great communication. Great updates on his walks, eating habits, nap times, and play times. We love that he gets socialized with other pups. Drop off and pickup was easy and smooth. Highly recommend. Great sitters.”

“Shannon was such an amazing help. Unfortunately our pup was not able to attend our wedding rehearsal and Shannon saved the day. She was flexible with pick up times, showed up exactly when we needed her, and was very professional. Shannon’s house is just as described and is perfect to house doggies. She sent many pictures and updates so you will never miss a moment.”

“Thank you Megan & Jenny! I needed to board my dog for one night with short notice and Megan & Jenny were able to board him. They responded quickly to my request and communicated with texts and photos during my dog's stay. My dog looked happy and it seems like he was well cared for. I will be contacting Megan & Jenny again for dog sitting and boarding.”

“I’m very grateful to have found Lee on Rover! Her yard/house setup is perfect for caring for smaller dogs, and it’s clear that she is a dog person through and through. Sam stayed the weekend with her and had a great time. I have never left him with anyone that isn’t family before. Sam is older and has anxiety. Lee was great at communicating and sent many updates. I was happy to see that Sam came out of his shell and made a friend while he was there! We will definitely be back.”

“Stephanie was so great with our (very) anxious senior dog. Lots of enrichment activities and walks, and very patient, with excellent communication and a relaxed, knowledgeable vibe.”

“Very kind and caring daughter and mother! They really took the time to let my nervous dog adjust during the meet and greet, listened carefully and asked questions. I also appreciate that they care about safety. My dog is quite nervous, but by the second day of boarding she was getting comfortable and showing more of her bouncy personality. They were communicative around feeding instructions and coordinating the meet and greet, drop off, and pick up. I would recommend Thais and Marlene! Thank you for your help taking care of Amber!”

“Danielle was awesome! I would highly recommend. This was ours and Chili’s first Rover experience and it went exceptionally well. He loved Danielle and her dogs. He got comfortable very quickly and seemed so happy on hikes with the other dogs. We got tons of updates and photos of chili at doggy camp. Danielle is so experienced and even had recommendations for us on how to train his reactivity.”

“We’re so grateful to have found someone we can fully trust with our two high-needs dogs. One of our pups has both behavioral quirks and lingering physical limitations from back surgery, which means he sometimes needs cleanup after potty breaks. The other is young and energetic and a handful in her own way. Hy handled them both with total competence, patience, and care. She and Arlo provided a safe, calm, and understanding environment and kept us updated throughout with frame-worthy photos. Because of them, we were able to fully relax and enjoy our vacation without worry. We can’t recommend them enough!”

“There are several reasons why Tricia was a great sitter besides just that she seems like a really great person and animal lover- she responded in a timely matter to all our communications, she gave me daily updates with lots of pictures of my pup, she worked from home so I didn't to have to worry about him during the day, our trip was delayed and she was flexible in letting me pick him up late, and lastly she right along the way for us to the airport. Will definitely be reach out to Tricia next time we need a sitter!”

“Arryonna was absolutely amazing!! She took great care of our wild puppy for a whole weekend. She updated me daily with pics & videos. We met ahead of time to be sure everything felt comfortable when introducing our pup to her own animals. I can’t say enough good things about our experience”

“Chad was really great with our 2 year old boxer. Fast communication, pictures and updates everyday, and it was clear our dog enjoyed her stay - which was important because she can get separation anxiety. Thanks so much, Chad!”

“Leonard truly came through for us on a last-minute trip out of town. A devoted dog person through and through, he kept us updated with photos and was incredibly communicative. His care and attention made him our favorite dogsitter to date. We’ll definitely be booking with him again and again!”

“What a wonderful experience for our dog Shadow! Bibo’s dog is awesome and got along with our dog really well. Took a minute to adjust and then they were off like siblings! Bibo was communicative and on it. Would definitely book again, and again.”

“Madeleine was again a great sitter for our very high anxiety dog. She made him feel right at home snuggled under the blankets and soaking up the sun! Always friendly, flexible, and punctual!”

About: I absolutely adore cats and have two of my own, Rosie and Alice! My family and friends have always known that I would be more than happy to take care of their kitties whenever they need, starting at the age of 10. I love both playing with easily trusting kitties and winning the love (or at least ambivalence) of mean, grouchy old cats too.
“Our cats regular sitter was unable to care for our cats on Thanksgiving and the day before and after. Thankfully, we found Cindy and Cesar. My cats are extremely shy and I was amazed to see one of my cats coming out and interacting with Cindy and Cesar after only a few days.”

“Kevin is wonderful and super kind! There was continuous dialogue and I appreciate Kevin’s patience and follow through! Definitely looking forward to working with Kevin again the future!”

About: I've loved cats for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family always had cats, and I learned early on that every cat has their own unique personality, preferences, and way of showing affection. In 2014, I adopted my cat Momo, who became my constant companion for nearly 12 years. He had such a big impact on my life that he eventually became the inspiration for much of my artwork and the creative business I run today. Caring for Momo through every stage of life gave me extensive hands-on experience with feeding routines, enrichment, grooming, veterinary visits, medications, and senior cat care. During his later years and medical treatments, I learned the importance of patience, observation, and paying attention to subtle changes in behavior and health. As a home-based artist, I have a flexible schedule and can provide attentive care, companionship, playtime, feeding, medication support, and regular updates. Whether your cat is social and playful or shy and independent, I will take the time to earn their trust and make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away.

“Joyce is the perfect sitter for your cat! Our cat doesn’t often take to new people well and immediately was friendly and played with her. She communicates thoroughly and also takes amazing photos.”

“Presley and Freya loved having Melissa take care of them! I arrived home from my trip yesterday with two pretty relaxed kitties, and a slew of new photos to add to my collection 😁 She was a great communicator, and left everything just as she found it.”

“She was so communicative and friendly! My cat adored her. Checking in every step of the way even asking additional questions to make sure my pet was in the best situation possible. Highly recommend, when joining Rover I never thought I would have this good of experience. I am thankful for her.”

“Jennifer took fantastic care of our cat Marty while we’re were gone for seven days over the holidays. She is very wonderful in every way; on time, responsible, and so sweet to our pet. I couldn’t recommend her enough.”

“Ayanna was the perfect pick for my boy’s first Rover! She provided many excellent photos and videos with each visit along with details on his mood, energy level, what he was up to, etc. She was super friendly, easy going, and just as chill as my old man. Highly recommend her stellar sitting services!”

“Charlotte did an amazing job with our cat Ginger during our time away. Very clear and quick communication about anything we needed to know and she was sooo great with our little cat Ginger. Ginger is very needy and she clearly got all the attention she deserves when Charlotte would visit. We even need to come pet her in the living room now because well, that’s how Charlotte did it! Very grateful for her expertise and true passion for animals and will absolutely rebook if we are heading out of town again!”

“Emilia-Laura did a great job through and through! She communicated really well before and during the sit, and got along great with my cat. My kitty is pretty shy but from the meet and greet I could already tell they were vibing :) I came back from my trip to a happy cat and house in order! Thanks again Emilia-Laura!”

“Grace took care very well of Arietta. She was very communicative during my trip. She also vacuumed the litter on the floor. I would highly recommend Grace and will definitely rebook in the future.”

“Laura was amazing. Our two furbabies barely noticed that we were gone, and with all the cute photos that Laura sent, we could tell they were in good hands. Would definitely work with Laura again.”

“Melina did such a great job drooping in and feeding my elderly cat, Momo. She was prompt with timing and sent lots of pictures and updates. I could tell that Momo really liked her 🥰 would definitely recommend Melina to anyone!!”

“Kathy always takes amazing care of our kitties and we are happy repeat customers! Our cats have some special supplements/meds and Kathy always follows instructions to the tee. She’s the best!”

“Sarah was wonderful! My skittish and sassy cat warmed up to her quickly! Very dependable and really helps to know someone trustworthy is taking care of my fur baby.”

“We had an outstanding experience with Edith C. and couldn't be happier with the care our kitty received. From start to finish, they demonstrated true professionalism and genuine care for our furry family member. What impressed us most: Excellent communication: We received daily photo updates of our cat, which gave us tremendous peace of mind while we were away Attention to detail: All of our instructions were followed perfectly, showing their commitment to maintaining our cat's routine and comfort Trustworthy and reliable: We felt completely confident that our beloved pet was in capable, caring hands Our cat appeared relaxed and content throughout the sitting period, which speaks volumes about the quality of care provided. The daily photos were such a thoughtful touch and really helped ease any separation anxiety we might have had. We will definitely be rebooking for future cat sitting needs and would recommend their services to any pet owner looking for dependable, professional care. It's clear they truly love what they do, and our cat benefited immensely from their attention and expertise. Overall Experience: 5/5 stars Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our kitty!”

“Azar is such a great dog sitter! Jojo has done day care with her multiple times and she always has a great time! I feel very safe leaving Jojo with Azar while I'm at work. Would totally book again!”

“Kelly took such wonderful care of our pup!! At 4 months old, Moose needs a LOT of play and attention (our training seems to go out the window when he's in a new place), but Kelly did an amazing job keeping him happy, loved, and up to speed with his commands. We could tell from the second we dropped him off that she knew exactly how to handle his puppy energy, and she sent us pictures and updates throughout the day to let us know how things were going. She even sent him home with his favorite snacks!! We will definitely rebook with Kelly in the future :)”

“We could not have asked for a better first Rover experience! Alisson was attentive to our dog's needs and made him feel welcome in her home - enough to fall asleep on her lap! She was very communicative and flexible and would definitely recommend for your doggy daycare needs”

“Loved all the photos!! Matthew and Van Joseph were so patient and caring with my nervous gal. It was obvious that Ramona felt comfortable there - she’s been super leash reluctant, but they got her to go on 2 walks during daycare!! Huge success. They were super communicative and great. Can’t wait to bring Ramona back and watch her settle in even more :)”

About: I managed a pet sitting service for 4 years with more than 400 clients and owned my own pet sitting service for 2 years, providing above and beyond pet care: dog walking, boarding, overnight house sitting, cat sitting, and other small pet care. I'm trained in insulin injections and skilled at applying ear drops, administering pills, and other basic daily medicinal needs. I also take great pictures of your pets and provide detailed notes while you're away! As a pet owner myself, I know first hand how hard it is to leave your pets at home. If I am to stay at your home, I can also take care of daily house duties like rotating lights, bringing in mail/packages, and watering plants. (I'm a skilled plant owner as well!) I'm trained in pet CPR and first aid and am skilled at recognizing dog behavioral cues. While I'm not a trainer, I'm happy to work with your dog on existing commands and basic commands. I have a very flexible, remote job and will prioritize your pet and it's needs! I take my own dog for hikes and play dates 3-4 times a week (on top of regular walks!) and look forward to having your dog join our pack! I have a two dogs of my own and your pup must get along with mine. I do provide a crate should your dog prefer that in my home. We have a fenced in yard for late night outs. We have plenty of toys to share and can easily manage any food resource issues.

“Lynn is so attentive and kind. Would highly recommend!! She sent so many photos, went on a long hike with my high energy dog, and my dog came home exhausted I know she had a blast.”

“Nasreddine and her bf were friendly and efficient with the drop off and return! Both dogs only stayed a couple hours but seemed to enjoy their time with their hosts! Above all, Nasreddine was SO understanding, flexible, and accommodating. My dogs escaped that morning and it was a flurry of whether I needed to cancel or not. Luckily, they came back after their little adventure and Nasreddine was happy to watch them even after all the chaos. Thank yooou!!”

“Baxter has stayed Andrea and her pups twice for daycare, with hopefully more days to come! Andrea has a gentle, kind spirit and seems very attuned to a dog's needs. At our meet & greet, she asked great questions about Baxter and his routines. She provided fun updates with pics a few times a day -- much appreciated!”

“Latricia is the best! Pika has been at her place quite a few times and was happy every time he went! He also became good buddies with Latricia’s dog Prince. She would send me awesome pictures of Pika without me asking so I know he’s having a blast there!”

About: *I only board dogs from one home at a time* I love to jog around Lake Merritt, and I'd be happy to take your fur baby along for a run! I've cared for dogs and cats, healthy and sick, with very specific dietary restrictions and activity needs. I wish I could have my own pet, but since I travel pretty often, this is the next best thing. :-) I’m a Product Manager with a hybrid work schedule. Rest assured, I can easily get from work to home on in-office days for walks/drop-ins if needed. I also work at a dog friendly office. I am available most days for drop-ins 2x/day. On weekday evenings, I typically go on runs (with/without dogs!). Expect many photos of your fur baby while you're away! I'm happy to drop in to check on food, water, litter (for cats), and take your pup on walks. I am very detail oriented, so if you have very particular instructions regarding diet or preferences while outside, you can trust me to follow them. For boarding, I have bowls for water and food as well as doggy waste bags. You would need to provide their food, treats, toys, (litter for kitties), and anything else to make their stay more comfortable!

“I have no doubt that my baby is in the best hands with Ruthy. I keep coming back to her for Doggie Daycare, and will continue to. She goes above and beyond and trains him on his off-leash skills (something I definitely want him to do better in). She understands Buddy (and her other handsome pups) in a way that is truly unique. Buddy goes running to her in the mornings, which he does not do with most people. It genuinely makes her happy to see Buddy thrive and progress in his skills. She consistently sends photos and videos of their day together and updates me on what they're up to throughout the day, which I LOVE. I am someone who usually stresses about my dog when I'm away from him, but I have such a sense of relief when he is with Ruthy!”
“We’ve done vacation boarding, but suddenly needed some day care when we were having workers in the house. Anthony and Nikita kindly hosted Bear on short notice, which was much appreciated!”

About: I’ve grown up with cats and kittens my whole life and continued adopting them as an adult — animals have always been at the heart of my home! I’ve raised and trained a puppy from 8 weeks old, cared for up to 3 medium-sized dogs at a time, and have experience housing and caring for rabbits, birds, and reptiles too. 🐶🐱🐰🦜🐸🦎 Your pet will be welcomed into a warm, loving home where they’ll be treated like family! I’m also a pet parent myself — my 1-year-old pup and 9-year-old cat are both incredibly friendly with people and other animals and absolutely love making new friends. They’re always excited to welcome new furry guests! 🐕🐈 I believe pet sitting is so much more than just filling a food bowl twice a day — it’s about being real company for your pet. I’m happy to provide multiple daily walks and plenty of undivided attention throughout the day!

About: $40 promo code for new Rover bookings. I'm new to Rover, but not new to animal care. I've trained my rescue dog Storm, using positive reinforcement methods, to be my service dog. Take advantage of my low fees while I build my profile. I keep your little buddies entertained in ways that meet them at their level, whether it's long hikes, lazing in some grass, or playing with toys at home. There are steps to my apartment and it's helpful if your dog is comfortable with stairs, or is 15lbs or under and can be carried. I live in a low traffic quiet neighborhood near a lot of parks and pretty outdoor spaces for walks. And there is some great bird and squirrel watching from the balcony doors.

“Highly recommend! We hired Grace for a one-off dog walk while we were at a wedding and she was perfect! She followed instructions, was very self sufficient, and gave us the perfect amount of info in the walk report. We would happily hire her again :)”

“Shirley is wonderful. She took great care of my dog Java on short notice this morning. Java has been in training for leash reactivity and Shirley picked up exactly how to work with her very quickly. She is kind and really appreciate animals from what I can tell. Highly recommended”

“Sophie has been amazing with my girl Rosie as she adjusts to city life. She has made a huge impact on keeping her calm and helping keep her active by giving her good exercise and working with to stay calm and focused while encountering squirrels, other dogs and loud noises on their walks. I have noticed such a change due to Sophie's interventions. Sophie is prompt, communicative and kind. A one of a kind! Rosie adores her!”

“Jay is the best with my two pups! super accommodating with my odd schedule, communicative and gets the best photos of them having a good time. Having jay has been a life saver for when I have to be in the office!”

About: Hiya, I'm Peter! I've cared for dogs for as long as I can remember, and have since provided countless hours of pet-care of friends, family, friends of the family, and families of friends! I have years of experience doing walks, play, feeding, bathing, clean-up and more. I have experience with excitable breeds like a neighbor's golden doodle to my family's mellowed-out portugese water doggies, along with senior care. I see animal care as a privilege. Our pets are no less than little bundles of feelings and life that we are given the opportunity to cherish. I have been told on multiple occasions that I am able to calm animals unusually quickly, and I feel that I am attuned to the emotions of animals I care for. I would love to opportunity to provide care to your pet! I work from home in a low-speed position, so I have a flexible schedule for your pets' needs. Normally, I would do a morning and afternoon walk, with potty breaks peppered whenever they need. I can also step away from my work at a moment's notice if anything arises, from entertaining a bored doggie to foiling attempted counter surfing! I have a paved yard for sunbathing and potty breaks, the door to which I work right next to. I live near Lake Merritt, the Morcom Rose Garden, and a dog park, so I can provide walks of all lengths. My home is very cozy and has multiple spaces where an animal can detox from any overstimulation. I can provide a dog crate, scheduled meals, supervision, and play.
“Thank you so much Jennifer! 5 stars! I am an anxious dog mom to a very anxious doodle, and it’s very hard for me to find people that I feel comfortable leaving my little fur baby with. But from the moment I started communicating with Jennifer through Rover, my anxieties were eased! Jennifer is kind, warm, and a very clear communicator! She was very gracious and non-judgmental too as I over explained and neurotically walked through Ruffles’ preferences and routines! I felt so at ease at work knowing she was taking care of my baby and didn’t even think twice! And her updates and pictures were always great and informative. It’s funny too how you just know when your dog likes someone, and I could tell he really felt comfortable with her! Can’t wait to book again for dog walking.”

“We've been hiring Amiri for years to walk our 90lb bulldog. Our dog has some territorial issues and he worked with us to train him, and now we hire Amiri every time we travel. He's always responsive and on time. Highly recommend!”

“Christine was absolutely amazing with my very shy/anxious dog. She was patient and gentle with her during the first meeting, and she was available last minute. Definitely recommend!”

I raised a German Shepherd puppy from 8 weeks to almost 3 years old and have lots of experience with puppies, younger dogs, and anxious breeds. My pet care experience includes dog walking, providing play & social skills time, feeding, and pet sitting. I have experience taking dogs to vet appointments, administering oral and topical medications, and following owner care instructions. I primarily work with youth during the week but I have a flexible work schedule that allows me to provide quality care to your pets as you share is needed! I can pet sit as requested as well. I value my client’s trust and will strictly adhere to the care guidelines that you provide. I always take extra care to make sure your pet is safe and away from harm. I’ll always be clean and a respectful guest in your home!
About: I’ve been caring for and training dogs for years, and I love helping them feel safe, happy, and understood. One of my earliest challenges was with my parents’ high-energy dog — I successfully trained him not to bolt out the door when it opened 🚪🐕 (no small feat!). That experience taught me the power of patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. 🐶 My Rescue Story I was the sole caregiver for my own rescue dog, who came to me fearful of strangers and unsure around other dogs. Over time, I: • Helped her grow comfortable meeting new people & pups 🤝 • Taught her not to jump on visitors 🙅♀️ • Trained her to “check in” with me before leaving for walks 🚶♀️ • Built her confidence to stay calm when home alone 💤 💛 Why Dogs Love Me Beyond training, I’m experienced with daily walks, feeding, grooming, playtime, and creating a safe, loving environment. I’m skilled at reading dog body language 🐕🦺 so I can keep pups comfortable and stress-free. I’m available on weekends, as well as Mondays and Fridays. I’m also happy to stay over on Monday nights, as long as you don’t need me to stay past 8am the following morning. When I care for pets in your home, I follow your instructions closely to keep their routine consistent. I make sure they have fresh water, regular meals, and plenty of exercise and playtime. I pay close attention to their body language and comfort level, so I can adapt my approach to their needs. I also give lots of affection (if they enjoy it!) and keep their environment clean and safe. You’ll get updates with photos so you know they’re happy and cared for while you’re away.

About: As a dedicated and compassionate pet caregiver, I go beyond basic care to ensure each dog feels safe, loved, and happy while their owner is away. Above all, I treat every dog like family, providing plenty of affection, regular updates, and ensuring they feel at ease in my care. Pet parents can have peace of mind knowing their furry friends are in responsible and loving hands! I have hands-on experience with senior dogs and understand the extra care they require, whether it’s administering medication, assisting with mobility, or providing a calm and comfortable environment. I’m also comfortable with high-energy dogs and can tailor my care to their needs, whether that’s engaging playtime, long walks, or reinforcing positive behavior. I work remotely so I am flexible and available to play with any pup - I live close to multiple dog parks and have a lake that I can take dogs on walks for One friendly dog in my apartment that loves to play and nap. He is socialized and loves to be with other dogs. Open to taking both to the park for socialization or just a solo trip with your pup.

“Stephanie was so great with our (very) anxious senior dog. Lots of enrichment activities and walks, and very patient, with excellent communication and a relaxed, knowledgeable vibe.”

“Inkoo was a wonderful host for Tino, keeping him happy with lots of long walks, naps in the sun, and snuggles even on the bed. I loved her daily updates with pictures of him clearly relaxed and enjoying himself. Top notch care! I appreciate that she took my request with fairly short notice and was able to do a meet and greet the next day! We will definitely be reaching out to her again for future boarding needs.”

“Nasreddine was amazing! Went above and beyond to make sure our pup was cared for, even after flights were delayed and we had to add an additional last minute evening and afternoon of care. Judging by the pictures, Lemon warmed right up in her space and felt comfortable enough for many a cuddle. Thanks for the help!”

“Our dog gets so excited when we tell her she is going to visit Uncle Rob. She gets so much socialization and exercise and attention there. We are so grateful to be able to travel without worrying about how she is doing.”

Surrounded by cozy blankets, their favorite toys from home, and plenty of love, your pet will feel comfortable and right at ease from the moment they arrive. I’m happy to provide multiple daily walks and plenty of undivided attention throughout the day!
“Miumie was excellent! She went above and beyond taking care of Nanako, preparing a comfortable space in her home and even buying Nanako some toys! Miumie took the cutest pictures and videos of our puppy and shared them multiple times a day. She took Nanako on fun outdoors adventures and was prepared to handle the extra challenges that come with caring for a young puppy. Pickup and drop off were on time and convenient for our travel schedules!”

“Daryl and Andrew were wonderful. They were patient, warm, and very caring with our pup Loki. In addition, they were gracious in enabling us to slightly shift pick up time at the last minute. I would highly recommend them.”

“I felt very comfortable leaving my pup with Shareese on my recent trip. She kept in touch with me throughout my time away with updates and pictures of how my pup was doing. I would be happy to have Shareese watch my pup again in the future.”

“Kennia watched my sweet Moose for the first time this weekend. She asked questions if unsure about how I would do something (like can he be off leash, etc.) which I appreciated so much! She also sent pictures of Moose to help comfort me while away from him. I’ll absolutely use Kennia again :)”

“My Yoshi loved Joann! It was their first appointment and it was a sleepover, so I was a little bit worried. Joann was so considerate, sending pics and reassurance about my doggie's comfort. I appreciated her thoughtfulness, and we'll be visiting again soon”

“Ben and his family took the best care of Bruce. Their home was warm and welcoming and Bruce got so much love. Bruce had an infection that they spotted and were very communicative with us. They managed to bring Bruce to the vet so he could get the right medication/treatment. We were really grateful to be informed and really trust Ben and his family who took such excellent care of Bruce.”
