About: Dogs have been in my life since I was a kid, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of looking after dogs with all kinds of personalities and needs: • Gator, my grandma’s goofy orange lab, who loved carrying giant rocks and playing in the water. • A shar-pei with big “Stanley-from-The-Office” energy, who needed daily walks and, later in life, extra care with meals and medication. • My parents’ pitbull, who I raised from the puppy stage and helped train—my most challenging and rewarding experience! These experiences taught me patience, responsibility, and how to adapt to each dog’s unique needs. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely love spending time with dogs (and I think they can tell!). I am currently doing freelance work and studying from home which means If there is WiFi, I am more than happy to stay at a place to be attentive with the pet and also keep them company. When I care for a pet I make sure they feel safe with me in their home, I let them warm up to me and I make sure they know that I am a friend by giving them their favorite treat. I prefer to meet pet before hand. If it’s a dog I avoid other dogs on walks and even if encouraged or recommended, I do not take them to the dog park. When in my care I want them to be safe and I know that can get tricky with other pups so I avoid it all around.

About: Rover is an amazing thing in my family's life. Our whole household REALLY LOVES DOGS. We love all the different dog personalities we get to know. We genuinely appreciate pet families trusting us to care for their pet(s). Boarding is our most used and preferred service of the Tree House. We have many regular clients who use our Boarding and Doggy Day Care services. We love all sizes of dogs and the full range of dog personalities. We host up to 3 guest dogs at a time and are very conscientious of the dogs we host and how they will interact. Therefore, if your dog does not do well with other dogs, our house may not be a great fit for your pet. We get requests for exclusive bookings, and where we can accommodate these requests, we will. ****price for exclusive bookings is 2X our service rate, boarding or day care slot**** We require all new clients to do a meet-&-greet, so we can only accommodate last-minute new clients if we get a solid referral from another sitter, you are a friend of the family, or one of our regular clients referred you. We have found our guests do much better when they have been here and sniffed about before their stay. Your dog(s) will be loved and treated with the utmost respect by every member of our household and any other guests. Our home is very relaxed, and our backyard is a dog paradise with lots of shade and different areas for dogs to claim their own space. We always have a crew of dogs, so your dog will have plenty of stimulation and exercise while at our home. We work from home and are here nearly all the time. Pickup and drop-off times are flexible—the key is communication and consideration—fees may apply where either is lacking. The yard has plenty of room for guests to stretch it out and find their own space. We are happy to accommodate crating, and problem children will have some sort of time out until they can ground and be good guests. We are not disciplinarians but are pretty good at setting boundaries thru timeouts and rewards.

My hands-on experience includes two and a half years caring for my rescued Chihuahua mix and two cats. I also volunteered socializing cats at a shelter when I was younger and, more recently, volunteered regularly at a farm animal sanctuary from April through October. During house sits, I stay overnight but may leave during the day for other pet-care bookings, errands, and personal commitments. Before booking, we’ll discuss your pet’s usual schedule, potty-break needs, and how long they can comfortably be left alone, so you know what to expect. I take a careful, detail-oriented approach to caring for both your pets and your home. At our meet-and-greet, I’ll ask about feeding instructions, walking routines, behavior, triggers, household rules, and emergency contacts. I welcome detailed care notes and will follow the plan we agree on. On walks, I’ll stay aware of our surroundings, keep your dog leashed, and avoid unfamiliar dogs or greetings unless we’ve specifically discussed them. I pay attention to body language and give pets space when they show discomfort rather than pushing them into an interaction. In your home, I’ll be mindful of doors, gates, and escape risks, keep feeding and litter areas tidy, and respect your instructions about access to rooms and outdoor spaces. For cats, I’ll offer attention without forcing handling or disturbing them when they need space. I’ll keep you updated with photos and notes about how your pet is doing and communicate promptly if I notice a change in their behavior, appetite, or bathroom habits. My aim is to maintain the familiar care they’re used to while giving them patience and support during your time away.

About: I had my own sweet pup for over 15 years. Unfortunately we lost her this past year. Now I have a new pup who is a ball of energy! I assisted heavily during some of the major fires in northern California over the years, working with several professional animal rescue teams. Love dogs of all shapes and sizes just out here hoping to help as many pups as possible. Relocated to Alameda in 2025. I work remote so I have some availability through the week, the weekends I’m available. I have plenty of space available for furry friends. My pup has lots of energy and would love a playmate. Currently available part time. I’m very active so I love taking walks. I do have a small fenced backyard with grass. Our house is very dog friendly.

About: I’ve been around dogs since i was a little girl, i have two senior pets of my own, 15 and 12 years old! a chihuahua and a yorkie mix, and one who is up in heaven. with my senior babies i have learned when to be delicate and when they want to play, I taught my senior chihuahua how to sit and give a paw (even though he’s got a couple screws loose) its not much at all, but its a big achievement for him! with your doggies i would love to learn everything, from favorite treats to favorite routes to walk in! i will adjust my schedule to you and your pets needs! i try my best to be extremely flexible as i know that life just happens sometimes. In regards to caring for your babies, their safety and comfort is my first priority, i would like for them to be comfortable with me instead of your pets being scared, for senior dog care i understand completely the hassle of being careful and the accidents that come along (im an excellent cleaner thanks to my senior dogs) with cats and younger dogs i find i adapt quickly with new environments with the help of you and instructions, i will most likely ask a bunch of questions and it will be only in regards of your pets, everything goes the same with cats! if you would like a drop in i’d be happy to negotiate a time and place! i forward to meeting you and your fur babies!
