About: Greetings! I'm Patrick. I've done a bunch of pet and house sitting on another platform, as well as for family, friends and acquaintances, besides having my own pets or sharing them with past partners. I used to practice massage therapy and reiki. I bring a similar intention to handling pets that I brought to responding to clients needs. I'd like to do part-time pet care in the East Bay, with some availability to housesit for longer sits around the full Bay Area. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of different kinds. My love for pets have been for as long as I can remember! Growing up, I have personally cared for medium-sized dogs, specifically a German shepherd and Pitbull, and also 3 different cats. I recently have lived in a house with 5 pit bulls and helped walk, feed and bathe each one for over a year. I currently do not own a pet, but am itching to own one soon. For now, I am happy to assist in bringing comfort and joy into your pet’s life. Anything to help make a family's home easier is what I strive for. I am currently working full time, but have a flexible work schedule that can accommodate to feeding/walking times. About: Through having dogs myself, dog walking, and taking care of friends dogs for the past 9 years I have experience sitting, walking, and playing with dogs. In the past year I have adopted the sweetest dog named Cariño, a 35 pound terrier mix, and have cared for them through their puppy stages and now into adulthood! I primarily have experience with dogs weighing 10-60 pounds and dogs of all ages. I'm good at taking control of a situation and can also understand when a dog is scared, upset, or just needs a break. I have a car so I can come to you and live walking distance from Lake Merritt. I'm currently working part-time and have plenty of time to go on hikes, walks, or check in on your pup! I am flexible during weekdays and am unavailable on weekends currently. I have experience raising my own currently one and a half year dog. I can easily crate your dog and leave them well-rested. I do not let dogs go outside unleashed unless there are specific instructions to do so. I work part-time and have a flexible schedule so I am happy to make things work with your pet needs whether it's morning, middle of the day, or early evenings. I am not accepting pets in my home because we have a dog and a cat who are a bit sensitive to other pet friends.

About: I have taken care of friends and neighbors pets since I was a kid and love to have a fur friend around. Happy to take them out and walk and explore nature. I like to run and hike and bike and a companion on the way is a bonus. They will be greeted with calm warmth and care. I work on trips and when I am home I am home and can be flexible about where I work. This allows me to be present to the pets I care for and to adjust to their needs. I will probably have a run or workout at some point in the day or meet a friend but am quite present. I have a fenced backyard and live by myself in a peaceful quiet space. My love of dogs started with a dog sitting gig that sparked this love and lead me to be a pup parent to Colonel Peanut who passed in 2020. He was a three legged trip that was my ride pr die for 8 years. Since his passing I have leaned into dog walking and dog sitting for others while the grief moves in waves. Point Isabel is one of my favorite places if your pup is an off leasher! Otherwise I love neighborhood walks where we can explore and smell and admire the flowers and discover birds of your area.
