Ethan P.
“Ethan, you are a dog-sitting superstar! Zoey had the time of her life, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Your genuine love for dogs shines through in the way you interacted with Zoey, making her feel right at home. The updates and photos you sent during her stay were the highlight of my day, and it was clear that she was having an absolute blast with you. Your laid-back and friendly personality made all the difference, and I can't thank you enough for treating Zoey like family. You're a true dog whisperer, Ethan, and I would highly recommend you to anyone in need of a caring and fun-loving dog sitter. Zoey can't wait to see you again!”

Adam G.

“Adam took our Golden Retriever Kobe on two walks. He was great. Kobe was being a little difficult on his second walk, and Adam was very patient and even stayed to play with him for the last 20 minutes when he didn’t want to walk anymore.”

Zoe M.

“Zoe is an excellent communicator. She is committed to the job and did well with my Great Dane. Patient with the puppy energy and managed time well. Very flexible with schedule and needs. Will book again!”

Lisa T.

“Lisa did a great job with our dog who can be shy and hesitant around people. She was patient and the walks went great and our dog was happy and well when we got back.”

Zara K.

“Zara took care of an extra dog (I was hosting a friend's dog together with mine), gave both dogs the exercise, attention and affection they needed, followed my instructions exactly, and was a pleasure to work with. 5 stars!”

Sarah W.

“Sarah has done a great job taking care of the "child" hound in our family on multiple occasions. She is very reliable and super nice!”

Casey H.

“I would 100% recommend Casey to care for your pet! Casey responded right away to help me out last minute and provided wonderful care for my pup, sending me pictures on their walk and following up/updating me!”

Reijun H.

“Reijun is a very compassionate person and she is particularly fond of dogs. While she already had a dog and a cat of her own, she recently drove from San Francisco to a Southern California shelter to adopt an unwanted, sick dog for fear that the dog was scheduled to be euthanized. I watched Reijun nurse the adopted dog to good health and pamper it like her own child. I highly recommend Reijun as a dog sitter. She will give great tender loving care to your dogs.”

Natalia A.
“My first experience with Natalia when I was out of town for several days was so good that I have used her again for a second extended time away and will continue to do so. My two cats are super comfortable with her. One is 17 years old and on medication's twice a day which Natalia conscientiously made sure she had. The other is 11 years old and very skittish so it was a great surprise that she actually came out the first time Natalia was here. She did a great job making sure the cats were fed and sat with them to give them full attention and pet them; well, at least the older one while the younger one watched. She sent me updates both morning and night with photos. My trash cans were taken out and brought in, all instructions were followed carefully, and the cat area and kitchen were all cleaned. I recommend Natalia without hesitation.”

About: I have been caring for pets since I was a child. I have cared for dogs with physical disabilities and who require medications. I am also a nurse so feel very comfortable in the caregiving role. I work from home so have a reasonable amount of flexibility. I take my own dogs for a walk twice a day and regularly visit dog parks for socialization. I have a fully enclosed deck with yard space. I have two dogs of my own one of whom is blind. My kids are 12 and 14 and they also love pets. They would enjoy playing with new pups if the owner's approve.

Lucas K.

“I was very pleased with Lucas’ care for Brutus and give him 5 well-deserved stars! From the very beginning, he was professional, timely and communicative. He provided regular updates during his walks and was wonderful with Brutus. He followed instructions to a tee and was a great listener. I came home to a happy & blissfully tired Brutus everyday this week. I’d recommend Lucas to anyone looking for a caring and efficient dog walker :)”

Charlene M.
About: Update Sept 2022: I quit my job to pet sit FULL-TIME! Thank you to all my regulars and new clients for supporting me and letting me do what I love most!!! Hi, my name is Charlene! I am a full-time experienced pet sitter. I am the primary caretaker who will watch over your pet but if I ever need assistance, my partner Chai (who is also an experienced Rover pet sitter) is there to help care for your pet. This ensures that your pet will always have someone looking after them! Together we share over 10 years of experience caring for animals and have taught our friends and family how to care for dogs & cats - some of whom have also joined Rover. I have personally cared for over 200+ pets and worked with a variety of breeds, age, and different temperaments. My method of care is to work with your pet’s individual needs with the goal that they will feel happy and cared for here! A bit of my background: Before I started petsitting, I was a veterinary technician and my goal was to be a veterinarian. However my experience witnessing surgery and often seeing pets at their worst made me decide the field was not for me. I am so happy I discovered pet sitting as an alternative where I can provide love, attention, and care for animals without the surgical aspect! Seeing animals at their happiest makes me happy and feels so rewarding. I appreciate my experience working as a vet tech because it helped me gain more experience caring for animals and administering medications when needed. I have also previously raised charity and volunteered at my local animal shelter to help foster stray kittens but am no longer active due to my busy petsitting schedule. What to expect during your pet’s stay here: DOGS: LARGE FENCED BACKYARD: - We have a large double-fenced backyard for your dog to play, exercise, sunbathe, and relax. There is also a shaded area to cool off. We also have air-conditioning inside the house! FREE-ROAMING COMMUNITY: - We encourage socialization! The pups play and sleep in the communal living room. Senior pups or nervous pups that prefer their own space have the option to have their own private room or settle with me in my room :) SAFETY & SUPERVISION: - We do NOT accept aggressive or sick dogs for the safety of our pups. All dogs MUST be vaccinated and on flea preventative prior to their stay. - Doggy camera to check on the pups - Doggy gate to minimize risk and prevent uncomfortable situations - Heavyweight dog-proof trash bin to stop opportunists - Walking distance to the vet hospital *Rates fluctuate depending on slow/busy days and holiday demand. Please feel free to let me know how I can best care for your pet. Thank you! :)

Simone B.
“Simone would be an excellent pet caregiver. I have seen how she treats her own dogs ,and family with such love and grace. Furthermore, she would be great for caregiving because of her selflessness and compassion for others. Your pet(s) will be safe in her hands!”

Colette M.

“Colette has been great! Very responsive and on-time and has also been flexible when my own schedule whiplashed. She’s also great with Liloo and takes great photos along the walks :) thanks, Colette!”

Nancy L.

“Nancy replied quickly to a last minute request and was able to take in all the necessary information to take my pup out on several long walks over a few days. She communicated about her check in/out times and sent updates. I would contact her again!”

Hannah S.
“My puppy is an 8-month-old Newfoundland Bernadoodle, and he is a complete handful! We're currently training him, but he will still pull at the leash, get over-excited when he sees strangers, and not listen to commands. Hannah handled all 70 lbs of him like a pro! I was so impressed by Hannah's skills that I would definitely ask her to walk him again because I trust that she will be able to handle him.”

Asta Y.
“Hi im a new dog mom and sitter. Im trying to build my clientele. I have a three year old golden retriever mix. I raised her by myself for almost a year. She a rescue dog at the SFSPCA shelter. I have experience training reactive dogs because my dog had an issue with bikers. I’m very patient, responsive, and loving. Safety is very important to me. I will make sure your dog is in good care.”

Cindy C.

“Cindy is a very experienced dog walker. Cindy is calm, patient and has helpful training feedback. Very responsive on the app and a pleasure to work with. Your pup will thank you! 😊”

Shawn C.

“Shawn deserves the highest of recommendations. He is wonderful with my dog--gentle, patient, and confident. He has proven to be highly reliable, flexible an is diligent about communicating his arrival times and availability. I had booked a four-day weekend with him then had to cancel, but I continue to request his time to walk my dog and look forward to being able to leave her with him on overnight trips. He's very much a five-star guy!”

Cassandra L.

“Cassandra seemed to truly enjoy my dog Bodie and Bodie definitely took to her. I will be booking with Cassandra for additional walks and a possible overnight.”
