About: Through having dogs myself, dog walking, and taking care of friends dogs for the past 9 years I have experience sitting, walking, and playing with dogs. In the past year I have adopted the sweetest dog named Cariño, a 35 pound terrier mix, and have cared for them through their puppy stages and now into adulthood! I primarily have experience with dogs weighing 10-60 pounds and dogs of all ages. I'm good at taking control of a situation and can also understand when a dog is scared, upset, or just needs a break. I have a car so I can come to you and live walking distance from Lake Merritt. I'm currently working part-time and have plenty of time to go on hikes, walks, or check in on your pup! I am flexible during weekdays and am unavailable on weekends currently. I have experience raising my own currently one and a half year dog. I can easily crate your dog and leave them well-rested. I do not let dogs go outside unleashed unless there are specific instructions to do so. I work part-time and have a flexible schedule so I am happy to make things work with your pet needs whether it's morning, middle of the day, or early evenings. I am not accepting pets in my home because we have a dog and a cat who are a bit sensitive to other pet friends.

About: I’ve loved animals since childhood and have over 10 years of experience in pet care. I approach pets with both confidence and affection. I enjoy getting to know the unique personalities and helping them feel safe and loved. In addition to caring for other people’s pets I’ve had many of my own Including three cats and seven dogs ranging in age from six weeks to 14 years old. I’ve trained and walked dogs of all sizes from Chihuahuas to bull breeds in the neighborhoods and along nature trails. I’ve also taken dog training classes and have volunteered at the Oakland SPCA. About: Dogs have been in my life since I was a kid, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of looking after dogs with all kinds of personalities and needs: • Gator, my grandma’s goofy orange lab, who loved carrying giant rocks and playing in the water. • A shar-pei with big “Stanley-from-The-Office” energy, who needed daily walks and, later in life, extra care with meals and medication. • My parents’ pitbull, who I raised from the puppy stage and helped train—my most challenging and rewarding experience! These experiences taught me patience, responsibility, and how to adapt to each dog’s unique needs. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely love spending time with dogs (and I think they can tell!). I am currently doing freelance work and studying from home which means If there is WiFi, I am more than happy to stay at a place to be attentive with the pet and also keep them company. When I care for a pet I make sure they feel safe with me in their home, I let them warm up to me and I make sure they know that I am a friend by giving them their favorite treat. I prefer to meet pet before hand. If it’s a dog I avoid other dogs on walks and even if encouraged or recommended, I do not take them to the dog park. When in my care I want them to be safe and I know that can get tricky with other pups so I avoid it all around.

About: I have spent my entire life around dogs, both caring for them as my own pets and doing paid dog-sitting. I have extensive experience with both small and large dogs. I have been in charge of bathing, walking, administering medication, and general playtime for a variety of pooches, and feel comfortable navigating dispositions ranging from quiet and timid to outgoing and rambunctious. I truly love all animals and cannot wait to meet yours! I am currently in between jobs, so I have lots of flexibility for pet care. Once a month, I am out of town Friday-Sunday, but otherwise I am open. I only plan to care for pets in clients' homes, not my own. For the health and safety of your pet, I kindly ask that clients provide their own grooming tools — including brushes, combs, nail clippers, styptic powder, and any other essentials your pet is familiar with. Using your pet’s personal tools helps prevent the spread of bacteria, and ensures a safe, and hygienic experience. Your pet’s safety and your peace of mind are always my top priorities.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life. Growing up in Serbia, I was always the person my friends and family could rely on when their pets needed someone to look after them. Whether it was walks, feeding, playtime, or simply keeping them company, taking care of dogs has always come naturally to me. I recently graduated from UC Berkeley and now work in soccer coaching here in the Bay Area. My schedule gives me plenty of free time during the day, and there was one thing I realized I was really missing — my dog back home in Serbia! 🐶 Since having my own dog here isn’t quite possible for me right now, I thought: what better way to combine my free time with something I genuinely love than helping take care of other people’s dogs? I’m active, responsible, patient, and very comfortable around dogs with different personalities and energy levels. And selfishly, they’ll probably make my day just as much as I make theirs. ❤️ Pet care fits naturally around my soccer-coaching schedule. I work weekdays from 5:30–7:00 p.m. and weekends from 10:00–11:30 a.m., with availability outside those hours for walks, drop-ins, day care, boarding, and house sitting. We’ll agree on exact visit times, drop-offs, and your pet’s routine before booking. For overnight or day care, please keep those short work commitments in mind so we can make sure your dog’s needs are a good fit. My dog Koko lives in Serbia, and I currently have no dog living with me in the Bay Area. I want your dog to feel safe, comfortable, and at home while you’re away. Before a booking, I like to discuss their routine, behavior around other dogs, feeding instructions, and any special needs. For care in my home, we’ll review the household setup and arrange a meet-and-greet so everyone is comfortable. In your home, I’ll respect your space and follow your care and access instructions. On walks, I’ll use your dog’s usual leash and equipment, pay attention to their comfort, and keep you updated.

My job requires me a peculiar freedom to have a flexible schedule. I am morning person and love going in evening strolls regardless of sorting setting. In my home, I create a fun and safe space for pets, with cozy spots to relax, play, and eat. They get fresh water, regular walks, and all the love and attention they could ask for!
