About: Hello! My name is Mary. I am a lifelong pet owner and animal enthusiast. I grew up on a horse farm with dogs, cats, horses, hamsters, and the odd rogue toad, so caring for animals with love and respect is literally second nature. I'm a somatic embodiment coach by trade, so I have a unique skill set for helping animals feel relaxed and comfortable in my care. I have joyously fostered 20+ dogs and cats in their transition to forever homes, and have extensive experience with house and pet sitting. About: My family has owned dogs since I was a baby, cats since I was 5, and I have helped care for them since I was 10: feeding/playing with them, dog walking, cleaning litter boxes. I’ve also helped take care of other family/friend pets. I worked, interned, and volunteered at a local animal shelter where I was trained to walk/care for/train dogs, play with/feed cats, and cleaned kennels/litter boxes. Over the summer of 2024, I worked at the Oakland Zoo where I gained experience on caring for wild animals. Starting January 20th, I am taking classes at the local community college. I am available weekends, including Friday’s. Monday’s/Wednesday’s I’m available after 4pm. Tuesday/Thursday after 3pm. When I am free, I’m available to walk/feed dogs and take care of cats in their homes. I will send pictures showing the progress of the walk/visit. I will also write texts to update when I bring the dog outside, when I’m returning from a walk, and when I’m leaving and locking up the house. I own a car and am able to drive to your home to take care of your pets. I can also bring dogs for walks or drive them to a park to play outside if wanted. If I do drive them anywhere, I will make sure to text when I am leaving (house/park) and arriving to the park or back to the house to show the dog made the trip safely.

About: I grew up with dogs and currently have my own dog. He’s a four year-old mini golden doodle named Riley. We are active and frequently go on hikes, to the park, and to the beach on the weekends. I also have a backyard where the dogs can play. If your dog needs more than just neighborhood walks, I’ve got you covered! I’m experienced in caring for puppies and managing them so that they don’t get into trouble. I also have a lot of experience administering medication since my dog is on several meds for some of his health issues. I can provide enrichment for your dog if needed, since my dog loves sniffing games, lick mats, and trick training. I absolutely adore dogs and will treat your dog as he/she were my own! I’m available for boarding on weekends and potentially sometimes during the week, if your dog is OK with being left alone for longer stretches of time. I have a hybrid work schedule so I go into the office three days a week and I work from home two days a week (usually Mondays and Fridays). I have a fenced-in yard for the dogs to play. If your dog needs to be crated when left alone, I have a crate that can be used. I also have a Furbo dog camera where I can keep an eye on the dogs while I’m gone. If your dog is comfortable and safe not being in a crate when left alone, I can accommodate that.

Kayla is truly the BEST and we feel so lucky we found her 🥹✨ From our very first meet & greet, we knew she was special — she literally showed up with a notebook and asked the most thoughtful questions about our dogs, routines, preferences, and care. That level of preparation and attention immediately put us at ease. She gives total Disney princess energy. So gentle, calm, kind, and clearly such an animal person. Both of our small, anxious rescue pups absolutely adore her (which says everything because they can be pretty selective with people!). Maricruz was absolutely wonderful with my two cats! She did a fantastic job managing their very different personalities and specific routines. One of my cats was all about playtime and cuddles with her, while my other cat hid the entire time and refused to eat out of anxiety. Maricruz was incredibly attentive and understanding—she patiently tried every trick I suggested to gently lure my skittish cat into eating. I felt so comforted knowing they were in such caring, capable hands. Highly recommend!
Sarah is reliable, flexible and so sweet. My cat is a senior cat who is very attached to me but Sarah takes great care of her and is mindful of the extra care she needs as an older cat. My cat took to her quickly as well, such a relief to travel and know she’s in great hands!
Megan was amazing! She was very attentive and kept us updated throughout each visit with lots of photos and thorough reports at the end of each visit. It was clear our cats were well cared for and comfortable with her while we were away. We’d definitely book with her again!
Diana was helpful and communicative and trustworthy with our little bunny, who was honestly pretty messy and required some extra / unexpected care because he got sick and needed medicine. Diana was very consistent with the updates and we loved having someone so local to provide for Janus.
Vania is awesome! I had a last-minute request and had never used Rover before, so was feeling pretty anxious about leaving on a trip for a few days. Vania’s professionalism and personality put me and my 9yo pit-mix at ease straight away. She took such excellent care of him that I noticed he had changed his bark from “There’s Someone At The Door” to “OMG YAY” when she came back to drop off the key ☺️
Charlotte did an amazing job with our cat Ginger during our time away. Very clear and quick communication about anything we needed to know and she was sooo great with our little cat Ginger. Ginger is very needy and she clearly got all the attention she deserves when Charlotte would visit. We even need to come pet her in the living room now because well, that’s how Charlotte did it! Very grateful for her expertise and true passion for animals and will absolutely rebook if we are heading out of town again!
