About: I have experience with cats who are particularly anxious, I am able to provide much more than just feeding and regular care tasks. I have experience with emotional regulation for anxious cats and dogs , and I’m able to provide extra attention through extended stays, diverse kinds of play, and overnight care. I also have prior experience with elderly dogs who need special accommodation. I work only 2 days a week, and have a very open flexible schedule at the moment. I can provide a wide range of services, my most notable experience is working with anxious pets who need extra attention and love! For dogs, I prefer to take dogs on multiple walks (ideally 3 walks per day) to encourage lots of activity, I can encourage socializing if needed. For cats, I love to drop in and play, give affection or just coexist as needed!

About: Have you ever wanted your dog to have the comfort of a 5-Star vacation experience with the trust of an experienced pup-lover right in your community? I’ve set up my ADU to be your dog’s private BnB oasis! It’s a totally separate space (just like a BnB), therefore your pet would have no interaction with my dogs. Your dog’s climate-controlled space is equipped with everything needed to make them comfortable during their stay - beds, toys, blankets, and backyard. I work from home, so I’m able to spend plenty of time with them and do whatever is needed for them to have a comfortable home away from home❤️ A little about me: Hi! My name is Sydney and I’ve had dogs my whole life. I have experience caring for cats (including medication administration) and I have also fostered over 40 dogs in my home, so I have experience with all ages and breeds ❤️ As mentioned, your pet would have their own space separate from my dogs, but I do have two small rescue pups! I have one senior 12-pound girl named Mooncake and a 17-pound boy named Toast and they are the loves of my life!! I love pet-sitting! I’m very responsible, dependable, and can be flexible to meet your dog’s specific needs. About: I’ve been a dog person since diapers—started with my parents’ pup, then my own fur baby who lived to 18. Now I’m raising my 4‑year‑old sweetie. Dogs love my calm vibe (and maybe my treat). My friends joke I’m their “dog’s favorite human,” because I’m always the first call when they need a sitter. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work from home and, being between jobs, I have plenty of free time to give dogs my full attention. I love taking long walks in nature with my own dog—it’s a therapeutic boost for both of us. Living in a peaceful neighborhood and tranquil home makes it easy to provide a calm, safe environment. I typically walk 2–3 times a day, so regular exercise and companionship are always part of my schedule. Safety is a top priority in my home. I have a spacious, secure, closed balcony where dogs can enjoy fresh air safely, and my own friendly dog is happy to provide companionship for your pup. There’s also a fenced area by my entrance, which adds an extra layer of protection to prevent dogs from slipping outside. About: i’ve been a dog mom for 20+ years and have basically had dogs my whole life. i trained my own dog from puppyhood and i’ve helped friends (and other pet parents) with basic training and routine stuff too. i’ve taken multiple training classes, so i’m comfortable with things like leash manners, boundaries, and reinforcing good behavior in a calm, consistent way. i’m naturally really good with dogs and i’m great at reading their body language, even the ones that are anxious, reactive, or “don’t usually like people.” i’m patient, confident, and i keep things low-stress so pups feel safe and listened to. i work from home, so i’ve got plenty of time to give your pup real attention throughout the day (not just quick check-ins). i’m happy to do multiple walks a day, and since i’m near downtown oakland, we’ve got plenty of great walk routes, lake merritt, nearby parks, and lots of good “sniffari” streets. in my home, your pup gets a safe, relaxed setup with lots of attention. i have a fenced patio so they can hang in the sun and get fresh air, and inside they’ll have plenty of room to stretch out, lounge, and roam comfortably. we’ve also got nearby open spaces, fields, and trails for walks and play. depending on your dog and what you’re comfortable with, i can do off-leash play (only where it’s safe/appropriate) or keep everything leashed, solo adventures or playtime with my dogs if your pup enjoys company. i’m big on following your routine and keeping things consistent: feeding schedules, meds, crate time, training cues, slow introductions, whatever your dog needs. i’m totally comfortable with seniors, shy/anxious pups, and dogs with special instructions. and if your dog would do best with more backyard time, i can also utilize my girlfriend’s place nearby with a fully fenced backyard for extra outdoor play/sniff time (with your permission).
