1. Ashley S.

“Ashley was wonderful. She took great care of our Murphy, sent messages and pictures, and left great feedback. I would not hesitate to ask her to housesit again.”

2. Charlii C.

“Charlii was genuinely one of the very, very best sitters I've found on Rover, or anywhere. She was thorough, clear, precise, and communicative. I am tender and picky where my dog is concerned, she handled this firmly but with aplomb and excitement for my dog, Mia, to have a great time. She sent frequent pics and stories, and I could tell by what she wrote she was keeping my animal good, appropriate, stimulating company. Strong strong recommend; the kind of small business you want to work with!!!”

3. Melina B.

“This is my second time asking Melina to watch my babies while I was away for longer than I like. Melina is incredible! She’s a great communicator, all my fur babies absolutely adore her…she was even able to hang out with my slightly-less-than-feral kitty! I’m so happy that she’s decided to spend her days loving on critters, she’s perfect for the job! My pup started taking pills twice daily, since the last time that she watched him, and she was up for the job. He took them like a champ from her. I would highly recommend Melina for all your fur baby needs! She’s wonderful! Thank you!!!!”

4. Cathy C.

“Awesome job! Kept in touch with text and photos and was available at the last minute to watch our pup. She made a point of making time to visit and meet him and us before the stay, and was incredibly warm during our meeting.”

5. Anais D.

“We love working with Anais! Her care of our senior Schipperke, Maz, has been expert and attentive. Being 17 years old, Maz has a lot of needs and Anais has cared for him both during the day and overnight, and we've been so grateful for her attentiveness to him around his routine, his meds, and for making sure he feels taken care of and loved. We're so glad we connected with Anais and will definitely be contacting her in the future!”

6. Michael W.

“Michael took amazing care of our 5 month old high energy puppy and two cats while we were away! We received updates every day and he was easily reached. He was very professional and left our house better than he found it. Would 100% book again next time we need a sitter”

7. Dennis H.

“Dennis is a considerate and kind person, a wonderful dog sitter for us and our German Shepherd. Our GSD is older and requires a cart when being walked. Dennis took the time to ask for what he needed to feel comfortable getting her into and out of the cart, making sure he had the dietary and medication needs defined, and meeting with us to ensure everyone thought it was a good fit. I highly recommend Dennis if you need a pet sitter! He left our home just as it was when we left, and we had the peace of mind of knowing our special-needs dog was well cared for while we were away.”

8. Dane E. C.

“Excellent service. Dane has great communication. He updates me everytime he comes and check on the pups. He takes cute pictures of them and spent time with each one, make sure they get all the attention they need. One of my dogs is reactive and difficult to handle, while most people turn him away, Dane makes sure he gets the care that he needs. I’m for sure will be a returning customer.”

9. Korin M.

“I’m so happy Korin had availability to watch Leo and Oscar! I had never left one of my dogs with a sitter before and he can be shy and nervous. She was great with both of them, super communicative, professional, and friendly. Can’t recommend enough!”

10. Qishu Z.

“Qishu was amazing with our high energy dog and extremely communicative with us. We received lots of updates and pictures over all the days we were gone. We would unreservedly recommend Qishu to anyone!”

15. Juliana & Katherine Q.
About: Our pets are family. My approach is a balance of attention and simple structure that makes for happy socialization. My partner and I have always had cats and dogs and I have experience with everything from puppyhood to the special healthcare challenges of senior pets (including administration of oral meds and injected insulin) I used to walk dogs back in college as a part-time job. Now, I am excited to make some new 4-legged friends and get out for some exercise together. I work from home part-time and with a very flexible schedule. I do long walks in the morning and afternoon and, if staying with us, in addition to walks, your doggie will have full access to the yard during the day to sunbathe and play. If house sitting at yours, I will be on hand with your pet at a minimum in the morning, for a few hours mid-day, and then all evening and night. We have a large fenced yard and two small, friendly pups (9lb young female yorkie and 12lb female coton de tulear) to play with. "The girls" are not crated at night, but I am happy to set up your pup's normal sleeping area if staying with us. For dog walking, I do 30-45 minute adventures with priority given to clients located in Oakland's Laurel, Dimond, Maxwell Park, and Redwood Heights neighborhoods. Ideally, your dog loves walking with some friends, but we can customize for personal pup needs.

About: Hello, Invite me into your home for some fun, loving and gentile from this pet lover. I have a love like no other for dogs, cats and other pets alike. I have been dealing with animals all my life including even humans that portray some qualities just kidding about the human part. As for taking care of them I've had my share of pets growing up and I loved them then. So a couple of years ago I decided that I would try to make a little extra cash and after brain storming I decided to include one of my favorite things to do which is be around pets dogs being my favorite. After that the rest is history and now I've come to this site to expand my client list of happy owners. Im currently working part time to full time on certain days and would love the opportunity to still provide genital loving care to my furry friends. My mission is to provide the best love and care while keeping your furry ones safe from all hurt harm or danger while i my care.

19. Carolyn G.
“Carolyn has been an absolute lifesaver for our family and our pup. She's incredibly dependable, kind, and clearly loves dogs. From the moment she met our dog, there was an instant connection—and now, tail wags start the second she walks through the door! Carolyn is always on time, communicates clearly, and sends thoughtful updates and photos after each walk, which we really appreciate. Knowing our dog is in such loving and capable hands gives us total peace of mind. If you're looking for someone who treats your pet like their own, we can’t recommend Carolyn enough!”

20. Elizabeth M.

“We would definitely recommend Lei Lei for dog and house-sitting. Lei Lei is super knowledgeable about dogs and we could tell that she and our dog Milo became fast friends. Lei Lei was communicative and professional and left the house in perfect condition. We loved the photos and updates of their adventures, though as crazy dog parents we of course would have happily received more photos/videos.”
