“Christine was wonderful and kept me informed with everything that was going on at my house. When I got home, the dogs were calm, which to me is a good sign of a caring sitter.”

“Angelique was flexible, communicative, and super loving with our dogs. She was willing to come walk/meet the dogs prior and get to know them and our house. Her messages during the trip were informative, reassuring and had pics to make it easy to know our pups were doing well. We’ll definitely be adding her to who we reach out to for future trips. Thank you!”

“Terrell was great! She house sat our shy shelter rescue dog for a few days and took the time and care to allow him to warm up, become friends and thrive. On top of just being great with our dog she.was very nice, quick to respond and professional. We Wwll definitely be hiring her next time we need help with our dog!”

“Nicole was fantastic. She took care of our senior dog and two cats and all three were doing great when we returned. She took time and care with each animal, especially with our skittish cat who is very frightened of new people. Our house looked fantastic when we returned, Nicole had even changed the sheets and washed her towels! And she stayed in constant communication with us, sending pictures all the time. We highly recommend Nicole and will definitely use her again in the future.”

“Kayla did a great job watching our dogs. We received plenty of updates and photos. Kayla was flexible in giving our dog medication Kylo received right before our trip. The whole process was very smooth and we will definitely book with Kayla again!”

“Josie was great, spent 5 days taking care of our home and our two pups. Gave regular updates, and left the house immaculate. Thanks Josie! Hope to have you help us again in the future!”

About: I come from parents who did Alaskan dog mushing with over 20 dogs. I grew up surrounded by dogs and have experience with many breeds. I know how to train, help with senior care, and provide any advice you’re looking for. I’m currently working part time, so I can quickly adapt to any pet or house needs you might have. I’m also very physically active so any further exercise is welcome! After growing up with dogs in the Alaskan wilderness surrounded by moose, I definitely have good habits of staying aware of my surroundings. I’ll be able to fully dedicate myself to your requests!
“Qishu was amazing with our high energy dog and extremely communicative with us. We received lots of updates and pictures over all the days we were gone. We would unreservedly recommend Qishu to anyone!”

“Melina was an amazing sitter and proved to be absolutely perfect for a week long house sitter for our dog who struggles with separation anxiety. She provided updates multiple times a day with photos and description of the days activities. She followed our instructions to a T and we could tell that our dog was super happy with the experience upon our return. Will definitely book Melina again if she is available when we need a sitter for a long weekend.”

About: I have experience with cats who are particularly anxious, I am able to provide much more than just feeding and regular care tasks. I have experience with emotional regulation for anxious cats and dogs , and I’m able to provide extra attention through extended stays, diverse kinds of play, and overnight care. I also have prior experience with elderly dogs who need special accommodation. I work only 2 days a week, and have a very open flexible schedule at the moment. I can provide a wide range of services, my most notable experience is working with anxious pets who need extra attention and love! For dogs, I prefer to take dogs on multiple walks (ideally 3 walks per day) to encourage lots of activity, I can encourage socializing if needed. For cats, I love to drop in and play, give affection or just coexist as needed!
“Tami had a GREAT connection with Lucy. She quickly figured out Lucy's personality, her likes/dislikes, favorite activities (going to the beach) and also the ins and outs of my apartment and building. Tami did a wonderful job of sending me pictures at least twice a day so that I could feel at peace that my girl was happy and being taken good care of.”

“Johnatan took care of my dog for 2 weeks. He’d feed her and walk her twice a day. He was always respectful and kept me posted about my dog’s activities. He washed the linens before departing and even gave my dog a quick bath (he forgot the blow-drying part though). As much as I’d like to give him 5 stars, there’s still room for improvement as he forgot to leave the sliding door open for the dog to go outside leading to the dog peeing and popping inside of the house. He sometimes took 8+ hours to get back home and a couple of nights he wasn’t able to return at all and my dog slept alone. The latter due to he working part time at a place located 1 hr away from our home. Overall, a thrustful boy who just needs to get more experience.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats for friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers for years and genuinely love being around animals. I’m dependable, communicative, and attentive to each pet’s personality and routine. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding schedules, administering basic medications, playtime, crate routines, and giving pets extra patience and attention so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I understand how important trust and communication are, so I always make sure owners receive regular updates and photos. I work full-time during the week but have flexibility in my schedule for pet care before and after work, on weekends, and for check-ins throughout the week depending on location. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, staying active, and making sure pets feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while their owners are away. I’m reliable, communicative, and committed to keeping consistent routines for feeding, walks, medications, and playtime. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet and home, so I prioritize safety, communication, and consistency. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and comfort level to help them feel secure and stress-free. I keep owners updated with photos and messages, closely follow feeding and medication instructions, and always make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and cared for with patience and attention. In clients’ homes, I’m respectful, clean, dependable, and focused on maintaining a calm environment for pets.
“I couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter than Natasha! She spent the week with my cat while I was on vacation, and sent me updates throughout the week which was reassuring. She even cleaned up before leaving, which was wonderful! I highly recommend Natasha :)”

About: I work from my home, which has a huge backyard for dogs to run around and explore. The backyard is fully fenced-in, to the point where my mother’s 5lb yorkies haven’t been able to find a way to sneak out. I have 2 male dogs that live with us; a 20lb, 14yo Cavalier King and a 30lb, 5yo Mini Golden Dooddle. The Cavalier King loves to eat & sleep, the Golden Doodle loves to play, and I love everything in between. Your dog(s) can come on group walks with mine or I can take them on their own separate walks. With a huge backyard, daycare clients are guaranteed the return of an exhausted pup upon pick-up. Brodie can charm the most anti-social dog into playing, but knows his boundaries and let’s dogs roam the yard on their own. I’m available almost every day except for the occasional work trip. Working from home provides me the opportunity to spend hours upon hours outside with my dogs. When the weather’s right, we spend all day outside. Outside naps are the best! As mentioned, the yard is fully fenced in. Along with 5 fruit trees and 3 gardening beds, the backyard is filled with an abundance of dog-safe plants. I treat your pet the way I treat my own and provide pictures throughout the day.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Woodminster
This is the second time we have had Atusa stay at our home and she is beyond lovely! She communicates so well with our family and lets us know how the animals are doing. We appreciate her very much and are so thankful we found her on this app. I completely trust her with my animals and my home.

Anais was a great choice for caring for our dog Drew. She was communicative and provided lots of updates and we came back to a clean home exactly as we left it. She was also available with only a couple weeks notice which we appreciated when we had another sitter fall through. I’d gladly have her again.

Christine did a wonderful job taking care of our older dog for 10 days while we were away. She followed all of our instructions carefully, was very kind and attentive, and clearly cared about our dog's well-being. When we returned, our dog was happy, relaxed, and in great spirits, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Christine also left the house extremely clean and well cared for. We really appreciated her reliability and communication throughout our trip. We would gladly have her watch our dog again and highly recommend her to others.
David and Mabel took excellent care of our 2 year old lab. It was great knowing our puppy was comfortable at home with professional and thoughtful care. They understand dogs, how to care for them and the importance of communicating with the pet parents. Our home was left cleaner than when we left, which we greatly appreciated! We will definitely continue to use them when we are away!

I have never used Rover before and Erin by far exceeded every expectation I had. We had her stay with our newly adopted dog for two nights and our dog loved her. We had our neighbors help out before and our dog wouldn't let them near her, but with Erin, our dog was her sweet self. Erin was punctual and made me feel at ease right away. She also left our house just as we left it. I would highly recommend Erin for any pet sitting needs.
