About: I am a dog lover and lived with dogs my whole life. I have taken care of dogs on and off for the past 8 years including boarding, house-stays, and walks. I currently have pretty flexible schedule and can make my hours fit for you - if there is a time conflict I will make sure to inform you and propose another time (if applicable). I cannot currently board dogs in my home (my dog is going through cancer treatment), but I am happy to do house-stays or walks. I ensure pets have their boundaries respected and I will ask plenty of questions to understand your pet’s personality and potential reactivity.

About: I’ve spent much of my life caring for animals and genuinely love earning their trust. In high school, I worked in dog and cat boarding at a local veterinary practice, where I gained hands on experience caring for pets with different personalities, temperaments, and needs. Since then, I’ve continued pet and house sitting for friends, family, and clients, volunteered with shelter dogs and cats through the PSPCA, and cared for a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, iguanas, ducks, quail, chickens, and fish. After spending the past eight months traveling and pet sitting, I’ve recently made the Bay Area my home. While I’m new to Rover, I’m not new to caring for pets. My goal is simple: to give you peace of mind while you’re away. I’ll care for your pets like family, communicate thoughtfully, and leave your home just as clean and cared for as you left it. My schedule is currently very flexible! I am especially interested in connecting with those in need of in home sitters while I am traveling, but open to day time walks and visits as well. I am a former real estate broker, used to have my own small business. I am taking some time out to work on my art, learn some tech skills, and travel. I am not able to care for pets in my home at this time as my apartment would require a hefty deposit. I am looking forward to working and traveling while using this app!

About: Hello! My name is Mary. I am a lifelong pet owner and animal enthusiast. I grew up on a horse farm with dogs, cats, horses, hamsters, and the odd rogue toad, so caring for animals with love and respect is literally second nature. I'm a somatic embodiment coach by trade, so I have a unique skill set for helping animals feel relaxed and comfortable in my care. I have joyously fostered 20+ dogs and cats in their transition to forever homes, and have extensive experience with house and pet sitting. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds, from 6 pound little weasels to 80 pound gentle giants. I have a special place in my heart for seniors (and have experience caring for them.) I am comfortable and experienced with administering medication. Because I work from home online and over zoom, I can accommodate animals that need a shorter window of alone time. I love walking dogs and can easily do day or evening walks and stop-bys. I have experience with staying in many different homes and I know that every animal has its own unique routines, needs and rituals that help it feel in flow. About: I’ve been around dogs since i was a little girl, i have two senior pets of my own, 15 and 12 years old! a chihuahua and a yorkie mix, and one who is up in heaven. with my senior babies i have learned when to be delicate and when they want to play, I taught my senior chihuahua how to sit and give a paw (even though he’s got a couple screws loose) its not much at all, but its a big achievement for him! with your doggies i would love to learn everything, from favorite treats to favorite routes to walk in! i will adjust my schedule to you and your pets needs! i try my best to be extremely flexible as i know that life just happens sometimes. In regards to caring for your babies, their safety and comfort is my first priority, i would like for them to be comfortable with me instead of your pets being scared, for senior dog care i understand completely the hassle of being careful and the accidents that come along (im an excellent cleaner thanks to my senior dogs) with cats and younger dogs i find i adapt quickly with new environments with the help of you and instructions, i will most likely ask a bunch of questions and it will be only in regards of your pets, everything goes the same with cats! if you would like a drop in i’d be happy to negotiate a time and place! i forward to meeting you and your fur babies!

About: I’m the devoted doggie aunt to some pretty fantastic pups, and I genuinely love spending time with dogs. Walks aren’t something I rush through—I’m happy to let your dog sniff, explore, get some exercise and enjoy being outside. I’m dependable, attentive and comfortable following your dog’s particular routine, whether that means a brisk walk, a leisurely neighborhood sniffari, playtime or just some extra company and affection. I’ll treat your pup like one of my own—even though I’m still waiting for one of my own! My schedule is currently very flexible, which means I can accommodate weekday and weekend visits and walks, including daytime hours when many people are at work. I’m happy to work around your pet’s established routine and give them the time and attention they’re accustomed to. I know that trusting someone with your pet—and access to your home—is a big deal. About: I've been taking care of pups and kitties since I was about 8 yrs old! I've learned how to identify triggers and/or warning signs with this experience. Hello ☺️ I just moved to the Bay Area and I'm a pawrent to one pup and two kitties! I just got my degree in Video Production/Film and will be freelancing when I can, which means my schedule is very open!! My current availability for drop-in visits and pup walking is Monday- Sunday 6am-10pm, unless it's a blocked out date. I would prefer to have a meet & greet before any booking. This helps me understand how to properly care for each pet. I always want to make sure that each furry friend, fur parent, and myself feels comfortable before hand. Whenever I drop in to visit, I make sure to do what ever is asked in regards to caring for your furry babies! Potty breaks. Making sure they are fed. Cuddle sessions! And of course making sure that I leave everything how it was before I arrived.
