About: I have my first born Beso for the last 7 years! We have gone to training, we go on so many walks, and spend the majority of my time with her! And this last year I added to my family with my second born Sahar! Being a parent of two fur babies makes me a great at helping others! I am currently taking a break from my professional career and just want to spend time with fur babies! So as of right now I am very open during the week. I will care for your fur babies like my own. On our walks I will make sure I have the leash securely and will be very observant of our environment and their mood as well. When checking up on fur babies I will also make sure to gage their mood and take care of them accordingly
About: Hello! My name is Mary. I am a lifelong pet owner and animal enthusiast. I grew up on a horse farm with dogs, cats, horses, hamsters, and the odd rogue toad, so caring for animals with love and respect is literally second nature. I'm a somatic embodiment coach by trade, so I have a unique skill set for helping animals feel relaxed and comfortable in my care. I have joyously fostered 20+ dogs and cats in their transition to forever homes, and have extensive experience with house and pet sitting. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds, from 6 pound little weasels to 80 pound gentle giants. I have a special place in my heart for seniors (and have experience caring for them.) I am comfortable and experienced with administering medication. Because I work from home online and over zoom, I can accommodate animals that need a shorter window of alone time. I'd be delighted to treat your fur family with all the love and care I would give my own. I look forward to hearing from you! I have my own online business, so my schedule is very fluid and flexible. I love walking dogs and can easily do day or evening walks and stop-bys. I have experience with staying in many different homes and I know that every animal has its own unique routines, needs and rituals that help it feel in flow. I'm very happy to work with your pet in the way they are used to.
“JJ provided excellent and attentive care to my 3 adorable, but at times high drama, babies! Their ability to make sure everyone felt loved and cared for was truly remarkable. I will definitely be having them come back whenever they’re able. It’s always so hard to be away from my kittens but I felt so relieved knowing JJ was looking after them in my absence. Thank you x a million JJ!”

“Zsa-Zsa came in last minute to check on our dog on Thanksgiving after an unexpected trip to the vet for our cat. Thank you Zsa-Zsa. You are truly the best ❤️”

About: I’ve always loved animals, for their big hearts and one of a kind personality traits. My family had a Rottweiler when I was a child and she always felt like the little sister I never had. My hours are flexible so I’m open to meeting your requirements to watch over your pet. I currently don’t have any pets at the moment, so having the opportunity to cuddle up & spend some time making a new furry friend would be a treat. Overall, I’m very passionate when it comes to the safety & well-being of your pets, so I look forward to providing I am currently a freelance filmmaker, so my schedule is pretty flexible! I’m available for boarding on the weekdays, Saturdays from 10am-4pm and Sundays after 3pm it's important for me to understand the type of pet I'm caring for so that i can gauge what type of activities they're into. I love being outdoors, so if your pet is active then i can take them to some of my favorite hiking trails that are near your home. If they're homebodies then I'll typically play some tug-o-war, or fetch with their favorite toys until they're tired. Then i'll feed them and chill out.
“Very appreciative of Maia taking great care of my dog Daisy during her check in! Greatly appreciated the updates and Daisy seemed to get along with Maia from the start.”

About: Hi I am a vet assistant that is trying to help the community and pet parents who love their fur babies as much as I do! I know finding care can be stressful as it requires a lot of trust, so I want to be able to provide that for pet parents and give a peace of mind. As a vet assistant I can keep a closer eye on abnormalities and notice signs for any serious illness, I also have much experience with cats and dogs as I have 6 cats of my own and 2 chihuahuas. I hope to care for your babies and help you guys out! I currently work overnights so I am able to provide care and love to your baby early morning and evening before night shifts. ❤️ Breakfast and dinner with them is my specialty haha All my babies are fully vaccinated and on flea/tick prevention so they won’t transmit any diseases or fleas and I always carry a clean pair of shoes and clothes with me so I don’t transfer anything to your babies.
“Madeline was fantastic with my dear old dog. The photos she sent during her time taking care of him were very thoughtful. He was very relaxed when I returned home, clear evidence that he was well cared for.”
About: I am a dog lover and lived with dogs my whole life. I have taken care of dogs on and off for the past 8 years including boarding, house-stays, and walks. I currently have pretty flexible schedule and can make my hours fit for you - if there is a time conflict I will make sure to inform you and propose another time (if applicable). I cannot currently board dogs in my home (my dog is going through cancer treatment), but I am happy to do house-stays or walks. I ensure pets have their boundaries respected and I will ask plenty of questions to understand your pet’s personality and potential reactivity.
About: Hi, I’m Kit! I’ve been training and caring for dogs for over 25 years, since I was practically a puppy myself! 🐶 I’m incredibly devoted to the pets I care for, and my goal is always to make sure your furry family member feels safe, loved, and relaxed while you’re away. As a mom of three grown sons, I’m used to keeping an eye on everything, I don’t miss a thing! 👀 My reaction time is fast, and I treat every dog like one of my own. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and always miss them when they go home. Here’s what your pup can expect during their stay: • Constant companionship: I'm pretty much always here, so your pup won't be left alone, or be lonely. When I'm not here, my Rover partner Jason, is here. • Playtime: We have a secure courtyard and a big yard for your furry friend to explore. We love playing ball and taking short walks around the neighborhood. • Our pack: We have two small, mellow dogs who'll play with or leave your dog alone, whichever your dog chooses. • Size limit please: We welcome all dogs under 75 pounds. • Pupdates: You'll receive updates and fun photos regularly. • People Peace of Mind: If we have a question, don’t worry, we’ll always check with you. That way, you can focus on the good stuff – your family, work, or vacation. Let's have a meet and greet or call to make sure that we’re the right pet sitter for your family. The most important thing is that you feel entirely comfortable that your pet is in the right hands. Thanks so much and stay well! We start our day around 7 am. Your dogs will go out, have breakfast, and a short walk around the neighborhood. Your dog will have their own personal space for when they eat. I have a large, enclosed backyard and an enclosed courtyard in front where your dog can explore and we can play ball. Your pet will go outside as needed, as often as you want. Pets will usually relax inside during the afternoon and we'll go on another short walk before or after their dinner. We have a nightly routine to give a treat around 9 p.m. if okay with you. During that time, I will try to teach your dog to stay for longer periods of time, again if that's something you want. We try to be consistent and go to bed at 10:15 each night. Pets will sleep near us with the bed or crate they're used to or with us, if needed. That's our day! 👍 We have a routine with our dogs for when we eat and go outside. I can follow any instructions you have for your food, medicines, crating, dog beds, and treats. I will keep files with detailed notes of your instructions and what I learned about your pet during every stay, as we continue to get to know each other. My goal is for your dog to feel safe and happy so you can enjoy what you're doing and relax knowing that your four-legged baby is well taken care of.
“Erin was amazing with our generally shy cat. He took to her immediately upon meeting her during our intro session! She provided daily updates while we were away, and he looked very happy in the pictures, and was happy and healthy upon our return. I will definitely try to book her again next time we need a sitter!”

About: I’ve been a dog person since diapers—started with my parents’ pup, then my own fur baby who lived to 18. Now I’m raising my 4‑year‑old sweetie. Dogs love my calm vibe (and maybe my treat). My friends joke I’m their “dog’s favorite human,” because I’m always the first call when they need a sitter. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work from home and, being between jobs, I have plenty of free time to give dogs my full attention. I love taking long walks in nature with my own dog—it’s a therapeutic boost for both of us. Living in a peaceful neighborhood and tranquil home makes it easy to provide a calm, safe environment. I typically walk 2–3 times a day, so regular exercise and companionship are always part of my schedule. Safety is a top priority in my home. I have a spacious, secure, closed balcony where dogs can enjoy fresh air safely, and my own friendly dog is happy to provide companionship for your pup. There’s also a fenced area by my entrance, which adds an extra layer of protection to prevent dogs from slipping outside. With these safeguards, you can feel confident that your pet will be cared for in a safe and welcoming environment.
About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, bunnies, etc. for my neighbors and friends since I was 10 years old. I have taken care of newborn animals and senior animals. I am fully free for the summer! I can pop by your house, go on walks, or keep your pet company at home. I am looking forward to taking care of your pet! I will make sure that your pet feels comfortable with me in their home and spend time playing with them or simply keeping them company. I will also love to go on long walks with your dog if requested!

I understand how important trust and communication are, so I always make sure owners receive regular updates and photos. I work full-time during the week but have flexibility in my schedule for pet care before and after work, on weekends, and for check-ins throughout the week depending on location. About: *Please take some time and read through our entire profile and rates prior to contacting us. Thank you* My husband & I are semi-retirees who have been raised with pets our entire lives. We specialized in smaller breeds (20 lbs & under) with separation anxiety & definitely have a soft spot for doodles as well.😅 We are proud to say that we’re experienced, loving and extremely responsible animal lovers who believe pets are our kids……so much so that our vets said we are one of the best pet owners they’ve encountered and love to be our “kids” in their next lives.🤣 We are not a boarding kennel club nor sitters who host excessive number of dogs at once. We intentionally limit the number of pets so we may focus individualized attention to each little ones coming across our hands. We focus heavily on safety, trust, love, pamper care & positive energy over anything else. As loving pet parents, we understand it’s a huge decision when you have to leave your fur babies in strangers' hands. Rest assured we hold up to our words, we’ll love and care for them just like our own! Our goal is to always put ourselves in your shoes and their paws😆 and provide the best-pampered care for your babies and peace of mind while you’re away. We are perfect for babies with separation anxiety as we are home 24/7. We are not just looking for a booking, we seek a long-term relationship built on trust with you and your fur babies so we can be their "home away from home" for years to come. Your little ones will NEVER be left alone & treated like a number. Their safety and comfort are our TOP priorities when staying with us. We promise! Since we are semiretired, we are generally available and quite flexible with drop off and pick up time. Communication and mutual respect are the key to any positive relationship. There are many sitters on Rover, and it’s encouraged to shop around, but please, please, please contact us only if you are serious and ready moving forward with the formal meet and greet. Non responsive owners will be block from future bookings. Thank you. Please note daycare is limited to 9 hours only. We also do hourly daycare at $25/hr. (Minimum 2 hours). There is always someone home 24/7. Our yard is securely fenced, with ample lawn and play area. There are plenty of outdoor opportunities with IN PERSON supervised playtime at ALL TIMES to keep your little ones safe, active & happy. The interior is padded with floor mats for safe playing, slip & fall prevention (great for senior pups). We also have a separate ground floor guest quarter that’s perfect for cats, rabbits and caged babies who do not wish to interact with dogs as we do have the sweetest senior Shih Tzu rescue, Augustina🐶. She likes all new friends but minds her own business most of the time. Given that said, your babies must be human friendly.😅
Piedmont Pines pet parents share their Rover experiences
Shanley was amazing - very responsive, super kind, and helpful with our elderly cat. There were a couple of medications that she had to give our cat (including 2 pills), and she managed them very well. Her notes and pictures were terrific and it kept us connected to our cat while we were away. Cannot recommend any more highly!
Madeline was absolutely wonderful with my dogs. She is very sweet, kind, and reliable. She was always on time, checked in and out exactly as scheduled, and followed everything perfectly. She spent quality time with Stormy and Bella, giving them lots of love, attention, and care. It really showed my dogs were happy and comfortable with her, which means everything to me. I highly recommend Madeline and will definitely be using her again!

Megan is great! She was very patient with Milo who loves to hiss at everyone. I was surprised he was rubbing again her leg by day two. She gave the best report cards and pictures and gave me piece of mind about leaving my babies at home while going on vacation. It was short trip this time, but would definitely book her again for future longer trips.

Ryan was great and so helpful while I was away! He was communicative and flexible and came by to ensure he knew how to use the inhale before I left. Paquito got extra love during the drop ins which always gives me comfort from afar. He also helped with plants and packages which was greatly appreciated. We will definitely be requesting Ryan’s help in the future :)

Elizabeth came and visited my cat while we were away for a week. She did a great job- super friendly and responsive, and even took out our trash / pulled it back in for us. It was so nice to know our beloved Gigi was taken care of while we were away. 10/10 recommend!
