Pet care experience
Animal lovers!
We know what it feels like to try to find a good pet sitter and leave a fur baby in someone else's care. We live with two teens, and we are currently without a family pet, so look forward to loving yours! We have experience with senior dogs and cats (as well as chickens and rabbits) and with medicine administration to ill dogs. We will only ever book one household at a time (unless you have a special request), so there will never be other animals here unexpectedly. Mike grew up with dogs, Nicola grew up with cats, and we have had a family rabbit, chickens, and dog in recent years.

Nicola and Michael were amazing! They took great care of our dog, Star, and were incredibly capable/caring in dealing with some unanticipated medical needs that came up for Star prior to us leaving on our trip. They were great communicators, and the daily updates were appreciated. It was so clear that Star had bonded with them and felt loved when she was there.
Nicola and Michael were wonderful with Jupiter. He has special needs since birth and gets tired easily. Jupiter came home happy and not over tired. Also, I received photos everyday, which was great. I am so appreciative..
Nicola and Mike are the best pet-sitters we could have ever hoped for. They are not only delightful people, but also took such amazing care of our cats and went above and beyond our expectations. They provide excellent communication, updates at every visit (with fun bonus pictures of the mess our cats made), and even cleaned up after our kitties which was not required but very appreciated. They took time to get to know our cats and their unique personalities , and bonded with them in a very short time. I can’t recommend them highly enough and will be booking with them in the future.
Nicola, Michael, and family did a wonderful job caring for Clio, our small dog, during a 10-day stay. They were great communicators and provided daily photos and updates. Most importantly, Clio was happy and healthy when we picked her up. She clearly enjoyed staying with her new best friends! We’d happily have Clio stay with them again.
I can’t express how much relief we had knowing our dog was staying with Nicola and Micheal. The love and care they expressed for him throughout his time with them shone through in every update and photo they shared. While I sincerely hope that we don’t have to board Nugs so long next time, if we do, I hope it’s with Nicola and Michael.
So lucky our pup has her second family to take care of her when needed!

Schedule
We work from home and are flexible and ready to meet the needs of dogs visiting our home. If your pet needs care in your home, we will make sure to meet the schedule of care you provide.

Safety, trust & environment
NOTE: Beginning at the end of August 2026, we anticipate an addition to our family of a trained service dog. We will fully update our profile at that time. The yard is fenced, we can crate your dog if preferred, but just want your dog to feel safe and comfortable. If your pet needs care in your home, we will make sure to be considerate of your and your pet's spaces and routines.
A typical day
It depends what your animal prefers! Dogs definitely get walks or hikes and your dog and we can play with toys or balls if they like. There are always snuggles available.
