About: I've had dogs and pets in some capacity or another throughout my life and have loved being Sister-2-Legs to each of my four-legged siblings. I have cared for a variety of animals from young to old, mostly cats and dogs, a bird, and a few rabbits. More recently, it's been a mix of senior dogs and puppies. I'm used to balancing puppy training versus the possible complex needs of senior dogs. My own sweet spaniel passed last year, and he lost both his sight and his hearing as he aged, which presented a few challenges but was a very valuable learning experience. I'm comfortable with all ages and stages of life and love spoiling every single furred family member I care for. I adapt my schedule around your pet's needs and routines. Please message me for schedule details. I may be able to offer drop-ins, walks, or daycare either in your home or at my doggy daycare outside of the time slots listed. Daycare: My yard is fully fenced with a grass area for all kinds of running and toy play time. Everyone is welcome to sprawl out on the furniture both indoors and outside. Your dog is given as much attention and love as if they were my own. I look forward to welcoming new furry friends! Housesitting: My preference for my animals has always been to keep them in their home environment where they feel the most safe and secure. I will follow all their daily routines and any other directions provided and treat their space as if it were my own. Depending on your preference, hikes, beach trips, and other special activities can be added to the daily standards of belly rubs, walkies, and cuddles. As I also have a doggy daycare, it would be great if your pets are dog-friendly and able to participate in daycare during our stay!

About: As a dedicated and experienced pet sitter, I am passionate about providing the best care possible for all types of pups. As a specialized pet sitter for bully breeds and small dogs, I understand the unique needs and quirks of these adorable dogs. With years of experience and a deep love for all things bulldog, I am committed to providing the highest level of care and attention to your furry friend. Everything from numerous short walks and playtime (temperature permitting) to feeding and medication administration, you can trust me to provide reliable and compassionate care for your bulldog. I am dedicated to ensuring your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you're away. My home has ramps to access all furniture and gates to prevent pups from running up and down stairs to protect their spines and potential IVDD flare ups. Our morning starts off with a walk around the neighborhood, then it’s breakfast time which means training and play with positive reinforcement! Your pup then has playtime with toys and with my dog Penelope if they are up for it or can snooze away. We then take a quick walk during lunch to stretch our legs and say hi to our friends at Rocky’s. After work we love to be in nature and hit the trails or parks to get some steps in! After dinner I love nothing more than to cuddle with the pups on my couch before bed! We have an outdoor deck that the dogs always have access to. Mostly serves as a sunbathing lounge 😎. The deck is also equipped with grass patches for easy potty breaks. Your pup with have the company of my dog, Penelope. She is a playful and well behaved French bulldog. I have a robust routine for her to keep her healthy and prevent her from being affected from her predisposed IVDD. I can easily incorporate any special needs or request that your day may need.

“Kai and I enjoyed Chawntea so much that we rebooked. As a first time furbaby mom it’s hard to just leave my baby with anyone. I am so glad to have found her.”

About: I'm a very responsible middle-aged woman who works from home and would be happy to care for your fur baby. Eventually I'll get a dog of my own! Our household consists of me and my partner, Rocky. We both grew up with pets, but currently don't have any. I work about 15-25 hours a week from home so I have plenty of time throughout the day for walks around the neighborhood and trips to the Alameda dog park. My partner and I are homebodies and enjoy spending time working on our house and gardening. I have a fenced in yard and several rooms of my house can be sectioned off to allow for large spaces to hang out, if the dog needs it's own space. I also have plenty of room to set up a crate. I do not have any pets. I would love to get a dog, but I travel to Vancouver 4 times a year to visit my mom in long term care and occasionally I have to travel for a week or more for work and I don't want to leave a pet for that long. My partner goes to the office Monday - Friday.

“Sydney was very happy with Kit. She has two friendly dogs and a beautiful home with tons of outdoor space perfectly suited for sunbathing and sniffing. Will definitely bring my pup back for a repeat visit!”

“Cassandra was great and responsive she sent me multiple updates during the day. My dog was shy at first but eventually made a new friend! I was very happy and will be going back:) Nadja”

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was 15, including raising two dogs from puppies and training a 3-year-old Shih Tzu. I’ve also taken care of both large and small dogs and have experience fostering cats, so I’m comfortable with a variety of personalities and needs. I focus on creating a calm, consistent environment that helps pets feel secure and cared for. I use a gentle parenting/training style and believe routine is key—whether it’s mealtime, walks, or downtime, I make sure your pet’s needs are met while keeping them happy and comfortable. I'm currently working part-time and am a homebody. Your pets will be the center of my attention. I have a set routine for walking, feeding, and walks! I have a fenced yard and a VERY playful Shih Tzu named Teddy. He is basically my child and I spoil him rotten. He is walked 2-3 times a day, cared for, and professionally groomed monthly! In between that, he is washed weekly and just gets a lot of love and playtime throughout the day!

About: Dogs are my favorite animal, I may even like them more than people. I have had and taken care of dogs my whole life. Around five years ago I fostered dogs for around a year, eventually adopting one. During this time I gained significant experience with puppies and house training. I have around 2 years of volunteer experience at a nonprofit vaccination clinic in the Bay Area where I hung out with, held and vaccinated hundreds of dogs. Off and on for the past two years I have walked and boarded dogs as well as house and dog sat. I cannot wait to meet your pup! I am a college student currently on summer vacation at home in the Bay Area. I have plenty of time and would love to spend it with your dog! I have a fenced back yard with plenty of room to play and two small dogs who would love to pay. I live in a walkable neighborhood with hiking trails near by. For a small to medium sized dog I am able to crate if needed. I would love to snuggle with your pup for hours or play all day.

Korin M.
“Quite simply put, Korin is a dog whisperer. She is patient, loving, kind, & confident with all dogs, young or old. She has a way of tuning in to the dogs to determine their temperament and personality. Korin has had five dogs over the years and I have witnessed her ability to teach them basic commands, have them walk confidently beside her on leash, and play happily in her care. Korin takes very good care of my dog when she comes to watch her, and my dog loves her so much she can't contain her excitement when Korin arrives. I highly recommend Korin as a dog sitter/walker and am confident in her abilities to care for any dog.”

Shannon & Rocky D.
“My partner and I were away for two weeks, and leaving our 1-year-old puppy behind for the first time was nervewracking. From the moment we dropped him off, Shannon went above and beyond with her thoughtful care. She welcomed Sonny into her home, kept us updated with regular photos, and made sure he got plenty of playtime in her backyard and at the dog park. When he unexpectedly injured his paw at the dog park (a toenail snag), Shannon contacted our vet, took him in for treatment, and lovingly cared for him while he wore a cast and cone. We were blown away by her attentiveness, compassion, and proactive care. Knowing our pup was in her hands gave us total peace of mind. Shannon is truly exceptional. She's trustworthy, communicative, and full of heart. We couldn’t imagine a better person to care for our fur-baby, and anyone would be lucky to have her look after theirs!!!”
