About: Dogs have been in my life since I was a kid, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of looking after dogs with all kinds of personalities and needs: • Gator, my grandma’s goofy orange lab, who loved carrying giant rocks and playing in the water. • A shar-pei with big “Stanley-from-The-Office” energy, who needed daily walks and, later in life, extra care with meals and medication. • My parents’ pitbull, who I raised from the puppy stage and helped train—my most challenging and rewarding experience! These experiences taught me patience, responsibility, and how to adapt to each dog’s unique needs. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely love spending time with dogs (and I think they can tell!). I am currently doing freelance work and studying from home which means If there is WiFi, I am more than happy to stay at a place to be attentive with the pet and also keep them company. When I care for a pet I make sure they feel safe with me in their home, I let them warm up to me and I make sure they know that I am a friend by giving them their favorite treat. I prefer to meet pet before hand. If it’s a dog I avoid other dogs on walks and even if encouraged or recommended, I do not take them to the dog park. When in my care I want them to be safe and I know that can get tricky with other pups so I avoid it all around.

About: I have taken care of friends and neighbors pets since I was a kid and love to have a fur friend around. Happy to take them out and walk and explore nature. I like to run and hike and bike and a companion on the way is a bonus. They will be greeted with calm warmth and care. I work on trips and when I am home I am home and can be flexible about where I work. This allows me to be present to the pets I care for and to adjust to their needs. I will probably have a run or workout at some point in the day or meet a friend but am quite present. I have a fenced backyard and live by myself in a peaceful quiet space. I enjoy a walk with a fur friend to get out and move and consider it a bonus to have a buddy along.

About: I have had my own cats for about ten years and had farm cats and dogs as a child. My cat recently passed and I am not quite ready to adopt another but want to help others in the mean time! As of right now I’m boarding a sweet female cat for a friend and have been for about a month but she will be going back home in the next few weeks! I live in a studio apartment so I am able to board small to medium animals. I am off just two days otherwise I am available in afternoons after I am off work! Let me know if you have additional questions about my experience or availability! I work full time in San Francisco so I usually leave pretty early in the morning and get back home early afternoon Wednesday through Sunday. Monday and Tuesday I am off but run a few errands. When I had my kitty she would usually feed wet food in the morning and leave some dry food for the day, then when I got home I would leave out some more wet food for the night. I of course have a water fountain and plenty of toys and scratchers for the day and have some play time when I get home. I have a studio apartment so not much room for a big dog but I do have a quiet neighborhood for walks and a gated backyard for play time. Cats should be no issue in the apartment with all the toys and scratchers I have!

About: Rover is an amazing thing in my family's life. Our whole household REALLY LOVES DOGS. We love all the different dog personalities we get to know. We genuinely appreciate pet families trusting us to care for their pet(s). Boarding is our most used and preferred service of the Tree House. We have many regular clients who use our Boarding and Doggy Day Care services. We love all sizes of dogs and the full range of dog personalities. We host up to 3 guest dogs at a time and are very conscientious of the dogs we host and how they will interact. Therefore, if your dog does not do well with other dogs, our house may not be a great fit for your pet. We get requests for exclusive bookings, and where we can accommodate these requests, we will. ****price for exclusive bookings is 2X our service rate, boarding or day care slot**** We require all new clients to do a meet-&-greet, so we can only accommodate last-minute new clients if we get a solid referral from another sitter, you are a friend of the family, or one of our regular clients referred you. We have found our guests do much better when they have been here and sniffed about before their stay. Your dog(s) will be loved and treated with the utmost respect by every member of our household and any other guests. Our home is very relaxed, and our backyard is a dog paradise with lots of shade and different areas for dogs to claim their own space. We always have a crew of dogs, so your dog will have plenty of stimulation and exercise while at our home. We work from home and are here nearly all the time. Pickup and drop-off times are flexible—the key is communication and consideration—fees may apply where either is lacking. The yard has plenty of room for guests to stretch it out and find their own space. We are happy to accommodate crating, and problem children will have some sort of time out until they can ground and be good guests. We are not disciplinarians but are pretty good at setting boundaries thru timeouts and rewards.

About: I had my own sweet pup for over 15 years. Unfortunately we lost her this past year. Now I have a new pup who is a ball of energy! I assisted heavily during some of the major fires in northern California over the years, working with several professional animal rescue teams. Love dogs of all shapes and sizes just out here hoping to help as many pups as possible. Relocated to Alameda in 2025. I work remote so I have some availability through the week, the weekends I’m available. I have plenty of space available for furry friends. My pup has lots of energy and would love a playmate. Currently available part time. I’m very active so I love taking walks. I do have a small fenced backyard with grass. Our house is very dog friendly.

About: I have spent my entire life around dogs, both caring for them as my own pets and doing paid dog-sitting. I have extensive experience with both small and large dogs. I have been in charge of bathing, walking, administering medication, and general playtime for a variety of pooches, and feel comfortable navigating dispositions ranging from quiet and timid to outgoing and rambunctious. I truly love all animals and cannot wait to meet yours! I am currently in between jobs, so I have lots of flexibility for pet care. Once a month, I am out of town Friday-Sunday, but otherwise I am open. I only plan to care for pets in clients' homes, not my own. I am very conscientious of safety and take every possible precaution in order to respect clients' homes and belongings, and of course ensure the safety of their pets.

About: I had a dog for 15 years and a cat for 2 years, giving me experience with pets at all stages of life. They are very special and I have a deep passion for caretaking, one that extends to your pets! I can also administer medications if needed. I am a student at UCSF on summer break. I have availability most days—weekdays and weekends, just need a few days notice! I am also a night owl so I can watch your pets well into the evenings! I have a fenced backyard and live in a dog-friendly neighborhood. I love going on long walks around here solo, and a pet companion would make that even better! For cats, I can also take them on walks (if they’re those types of cats haha) or can just stay inside and play with toys.
