I am the primary caregiver and fully responsible for all services, scheduling, communication, and safety. My daughter joins me for walks and visits when appropriate, under my supervision, and absolutely adores spending time with animals. She has grown up around pets and is gentle, patient, and respectful of their needs. We’re especially great with dogs who enjoy extra attention, calm companionship, and consistency. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or overnight care, your pet will be safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m happy to answer any questions and always offer a meet-and-greet so you can feel completely comfortable. Pet care is a natural and consistent part of my daily and weekly routine. I plan my schedule around dog walks and drop-in visits after school and work so that pets receive reliable, on-time care and unhurried attention. Anytime after 5pm M-F and Saturday and Sundays we are pretty open, just send a request and we will do our best to accommodate you and your fur baby. I intentionally limit the number of bookings I accept to ensure each pet (including our own fur babies) gets the time, patience, and care they deserve. For dog walking and drop-in visits, I focus on providing calm, attentive, and reliable care while maintaining your pet’s normal routine. I am the primary caregiver and personally handle all walks, visits, communication, and safety. My daughter may accompany me at times under my supervision and helps provide extra love and companionship, but all care decisions and responsibilities are mine. During walks, I prioritize safety first by using secure leashes, following your preferred routes, and adjusting pace and distance to your dog’s age, energy level, and comfort. Walks include positive reinforcement, sniff time, and plenty of attention. For drop-in visits, I make sure your pet is comfortable and cared for by providing fresh food and water, potty breaks, playtime, medication if needed, and lots of affection. I respect your home, follow all instructions carefully, and always leave things tidy. I provide regular updates with notes and photos so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. Every pet is treated like a member of our family, with patience, kindness, and consistency.

As a pup parent myself, I believe pet parents deserve frequent updates and lots of photos, so you can relax knowing your best friend is having a great time too. I work from home so I’m flexible during the day and evenings for pet care. I tend to go to the dog park or on hikes a couple times per week. Our house stays very clean and free of hazardous clutter for foragey pups. We have a gated side yard for pups to play in. I have a well behaved small dog who loves to have play mates! About: Howdy! My name's Rachel, I'm new to the area. I am a lover of all animals, but especially dogs. I grew up with a lovable and energetic Akita, so I have a big love for larger dogs. I currently live with my cat, Henri, who I found in an alley in Chicago a few years ago. I formerly worked for a local dog boarding and daycare spot. I'm a pretty active person, I like hiking and running and being outside, all activities that could be even more fun with a four legged companion. I'm happy to answer any questions you have, and am looking forward to meeting! I am very available for weekends to walk, visit, or care for pets! I work during the week but possibly could make time in the evenings At my home, I do have a cat who is friendly. I have a babygate that I set up or lock the cat in my room when dogs are visiting. I am open to making house visits also! I believe pets who are already stressed out when their person is away for extended periods should feel comfortable and be in their own place.

About: Aside from owning my own dogs for over 10 years, I have worked as a professional pet-sitter and dog-walker for 2 years. I make sure to be intentional with how I spend my time with your loved one and bring them back feeling cared for and hopefully tired! I'm currently a part-time student, so I will have lot's of time to dedicate to your pet! I am mostly available to sit or walk on weekdays between 12 - 8 pm but if this time frame doesn't work, feel free to send me a message and I would be happy to accommodate you! I’m able to provide plenty of supervision, attention, exercise, and companionship to make sure pets are happy and comfortable in my care. I work from home 3 days a week (M W F). And I'm home most weekends. My job is flexible so as long as I don't have meetings I can take breaks throughout the day as needed for pets. I've taken my friend's dogs on walks during my work hours and given attention to pets during their stay, treats and cuddles :) I have an open space layout so I will be able to be close to the pet and see what they're doing while I'm home.
