About: I’ve had pets since I was young including caring for and owning small, medium, and large dogs. I appreciate the need for exercise and am happy to maintain any rules for your pet to keep consistency. I’m well versed in giving pets medicine, training puppies with voice, treats and eye contact. I currently have a 60lb dog that is strong and unreliable meeting dogs on leash so I am versed in managing larger dogs and boundaries needed in their care so they feel supported. (My dog is with me 50% time and I will only take in sitting jobs when she isn’t here). I also appreciate and care for cats though I have never owned one. I work full-time from home and a two bedroom apartment, and I’m available to board. I walk regularly and have my own dog 50% time. I will only board when I don’t have her. I can do fast walks, slow walks, and I have a car to take dogs to hikes if that is desired. I have an unfenced yard for quick potty breaks if needed, but prefer walking dogs on leash around the Elmwood neighborhood if they are staying with me. It’s good to get exercise! Also happy to walk them in your area if I’m just doing a house visit. I have a laundry room where I can close off any pet food storage if your pet is adventurous and gets into things. I like building trust and boundaries with dogs early so that they can feel secure. I also love playing with toys and keeping them in rotation whether that’s a Kong, pull toys, cat feathers or mice, etc.

For dog walking and drop-in visits, I focus on providing calm, attentive, and reliable care while maintaining your pet’s normal routine. I am the primary caregiver and personally handle all walks, visits, communication, and safety. My daughter may accompany me at times under my supervision and helps provide extra love and companionship, but all care decisions and responsibilities are mine. During walks, I prioritize safety first by using secure leashes, following your preferred routes, and adjusting pace and distance to your dog’s age, energy level, and comfort. Walks include positive reinforcement, sniff time, and plenty of attention. For drop-in visits, I make sure your pet is comfortable and cared for by providing fresh food and water, potty breaks, playtime, medication if needed, and lots of affection. I respect your home, follow all instructions carefully, and always leave things tidy. I provide regular updates with notes and photos so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. Every pet is treated like a member of our family, with patience, kindness, and consistency.

About: For the last four years I’ve lived in a home with two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. One was a senior at 13 years old and the other is three. I’ve learned how to adapt to their different needs based on age and personality while setting boundaries and aligning to my Housemate’s desires for their care. (Which has helped me get to know new dogs pretty quickly.) We walk, play and cuddle. When needed I administer medication, feed them, and sometimes cook for them. I look forward to chatting with you about your family’s needs. When house sitting I do not schedule any other families for walks or drop-ins. The care I provide is all inclusive so that your baby gets all of my love and care. If I am not house sitting, I’m available everyday after 11am for walks and drop-ins within a 1 mile radius of lower Rockridge or easily reachable by public transportation. To ensure safety and comfort, I won’t be walking any other dogs outside of your household. I am available to spend time with your pet(s) in their home where they will be the most comfortable. About: I've had pets my whole life from dogs, birds, and different reptiles. I've volunteered at shelters and rescues with walking and fostering dogs. We specialized in smaller breeds (20 lbs & under) with separation anxiety & definitely have a soft spot for doodles as well.😅 We are proud to say that we’re experienced, loving and extremely responsible animal lovers who believe pets are our kids……so much so that our vets said we are one of the best pet owners they’ve encountered and love to be our “kids” in their next lives.🤣 We are not the type of sitters who host excessive number of dogs at once. As a matter of fact, we intentionally keep our guest list small so we may focus constant supervision and individualized love to each little ones coming across our hands. We focus heavily on safety, trust, love & positive energy over anything else. As loving pet parents, we understand it’s a huge decision when you have to leave your fur babies in strangers' hands. Rest assured we hold up to our words, we’ll love and care for them just like our own! We’re usually flexible with schedules as long as clear communication is maintained! 😃 On a typical day, we enjoy countless cuddles and safe play in our super secure yard. Unlike some daycares that leave dogs out in the hot sun all day, we spend most of our time inside a cool, matted play space. We also enjoy visiting local parks when time permits. For safety precaution, we NEVER visit any public off-leash dog parks. Therefore, we might not be the best fit for your pup if they’re accustomed to off-leash outings or long walks. There is always someone home 24/7. Our yard is securely fenced, with ample lawn and play area. There are plenty of outdoor opportunities with IN PERSON supervised playtime at ALL TIMES to keep your little ones safe, active & happy. The interior is padded with floor mats for safe playing, slip & fall prevention (great for senior pups). We also have a separate ground floor guest quarter that’s perfect for cats, rabbits and caged babies who do not wish to interact with dogs as we do have the sweetest senior Shih Tzu rescue, Augustina🐶. She likes all new friends but minds her own business most of the time. Given that said, your babies must be human friendly.😅
