I make friends with most dogs and cats, and respect the boundaries of those who are more shy. I bring 24 years experience taking care of other people's pets as well as my own pets, though I've only had cats so far. If you have a shy pet, I've had my own shy pet. If you have a deaf pet, I had a deaf cat who I have learned to communicate with non-verbally and making my presence known without startling him. I'm experienced in giving oral and topical medication to cats. I prefer to do drop ins, dog walks, or house sitting.

Safety, trust & environment
When I am walking your dog or spending time at your place with your pet, your privacy and your pet's health and safety are my top priorities. Your pets mental stimulation and physical wellbeing are my top priority. If your pet needs long walks, or a lot of play time, I will make sure they get those needs met. Happy to brush, cuddle, talk to/with, give treats, and just overall make sure you come home to a well cared for family member.

Ana is a fantastic sitter! She was very attentive to both our pup and cat, sending plenty of great photos and showing them so much love. We returned to find our babies happy and well-cared for; it's clear they really enjoyed their time with her. Highly highly recommend!
Ana is amazing. She took care of our goofy dog and standoff-ish cat for a week while we were out of the country. Her communication with us was frequent and well appreciated, her approach to and care for our pets was respectful and thorough, and we felt our animals and home were in the best hands while we were away. I highly recommend Ana; she will be my first contact when we need pet care in the future.

As always, Ana took such excellent care of Betty White! My cat is extremely skittish and only likes to sit on my lap… And now Ana’s! Ana watched my cat for 2 weeks and took such great care of her that she wasn’t even angry at me when I returned.

Schedule
I'm currently employed with typically part time hours in emeryville. My schedule is a bit all over the place but my shifts right now range from 3-6hrs, 4 or 5 days a week. If your pet's food or walk needs are flexible, then we are a good match, and I know my schedule 3 weeks in advance while I await working long enough at the store to get regular hours to work around.
