“We have used Patrick for our kids twice now; he has been great. This time he was flexible and helped us out a lot when our return was delayed a couple days due to flight cancellations and delays. We will definitely rebook (if he isn't tired of our dogs already).”

“What a dream team for watching our dog. From our first communication with Robert we knew Max would be in good hands. We got daily updates and Max came back super happy and exhausted from all the miles walked. We look forward to booking them again!”

“Eiko is such a fantastic sitter who we truly trust. She has watched our dog twice now while we are traveling, and both times we felt very comfortable knowing our dog was in good hands. The first time she watched our dog, she arranged a meet and greet. The second time, our dog, who is normally on the anxious side, was so excited to see her house again that he ran right up to the front door. She is very caring and friendly and sends us lots of updates. Highly recommend!”

“Marlene did an excellent job of communicating about MacGuyver's issues while we were away, for which we were very grateful. It was obvious Marlene loved our special needs dog very much (he's blind) and she did her best to walk him twice a day despite him not wanting to walk. (He needed the exercise to get tired and sleep). We will definitely hire Marlene again; her personality is super gentle and kind. Her apartment was impeccably clean every time I visited (3 times). THANK YOU MARLENE!”
About: I absolutely love all animals! Growing up, my family always had a minimum of two dogs at a time. Since I was young, I have been trusted by friends and family members to watch over not only their pets, but their plants as well. As an adult living alone, I have only ever had 1 cat at a time in my home, however, my plant game has grown to a bit of a jungle! On top of taking care of animals, I also LOVE a clean house and I take it upon myself to always leave people’s homes cleaner than I found them in! I’m currently looking to open my own business doing just that: Pet sitting and deep cleaning while folks are out of town. In my opinion, there is nothing better than coming home from a vacation or a work trip to a clean home and a happy animal! I have been working with Meowtel watching cats for the last year and have found it to be exceptionally rewarding. Recently, my sweet cat passed away and I left my demanding job. Due to these circumstances I have decided that since I have the time and opportunity, opening my home to board would be a great way to expand my offerings. I look forward to meeting this community and giving dog (cat, plant, etc.) owners peace of mind while they travel, get stuck working a double, or just want to support their companion with an extra afternoon walk. I left my extremely demanding job in December after my cat got sick. I wanted to spend as much time with him as possible. Since his passing, I have focused on taking care of pets and cleaning homes. This has brought me more joy than any demanding corporate job, and I hope I can continue to work in this capacity for many years in the future. My schedule is very flexible! I am an animal lover living in an animal free home at this moment. Because of this, I am open to boarding. I am not concerned with animals who want to sit on the couch with me or lay on the bed, but I will follow the rules of what they’re allowed to do at home if you prefer that. My home will be their home, and I will do everything to make sure that they feel safe and cared for while in my hands. I’m an active person and love taking long walks and hikes. So, if that’s something that your dog is into, I am happy to schedule an adventure that meets their mileage needs! On the contrary, if you have a small dog or one who just wants to go out for a stroll around the block or to do their business in the grass, I’m happy to do that too! I have a small unfenced side yard to accommodate. I live on the second floor of an apartment building with no elevator, so if your pup is not able to do stairs and is too heavy to pick up, my home wouldn’t be a good fit.
“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! From the start, Tierra was incredibly considerate of our dog’s routine and needs. We loved getting the daily updates and photos—it really put our minds at ease while we were away. It was clear our dog felt right at home at her place and was treated like family. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Koda always has a blast at Jeff & Beths’s. So grateful she gets to go to such a sweet and safe home to play and cuddle and get so well taken care of. They are the best! Thank you!”

“Angela and her partner were amazing with my puppy Clementine!! She was very quick with responses throughout and sent great updates. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for great care while away.”

“We couldn’t have asked for better care for Kiko! Megan and Jenny were so flexible, thoughtful, and sent us lots of updates, which gave us so much peace of mind. Kiko was clearly in great hands — we’re so grateful and would absolutely recommend them to anyone!”

“Maria & Kevan along with their wonderful girls were amazing petsitters for our Labrador Retreiver, Louie. From the moment I dropped off Louie and met them, I could tell he was going to be completely comfortable, well-cared for, and loved for the duration of his 10 day stay with their family. Receiving a photo or two of Louie each day was amazing and it was heartwarming to see Louie so happy getting lots of snuggles, playtime with his toys, neighborhood walks, and peaceful naps at their feet. Thank you so much to Maria & Kevan and their daughters for making Louie feel like a part of their family! Louie can't wait to visit again!”

“The other nice thing about Lee's dog sitting is that the other dogs who were there when we boarded were so great, too. We love that Snowy gets to meet other fun dogs!”

“Mary is wonderful! We recently adopted our dog from a shelter and he has some separation anxiety, so we weren't sure how his first overnight stay would go, but Mary's patient and thoughtful approach helped him feel comfortable quickly. We appreciated that she set up a meet & greet with her dog in advance, and then was in touch throughout his stay. We'll be sure to book Mary in the future.”

“Meera is the best, Stella had a great time with her and Riley. She took Stella for a walk many times and kept me posted about everything at all times. Riley and Stella became best friends, I can wait to book again and I couldn’t recommend her more❤️🥳 thank you Meera!”

“Joann was great! She took us on with really late notice, sent updates of our cute sleepy dog, and our pup came home super happy. Would work with Joann again in the future!”

“Anna was as happy and healthy as the day I dropped her off! You guys did a great job with her… I now know at the next time I travel I have the confidence of leaving here in good hands. I bet she misses you guys. We should make a play date scheduled so she can see her new friends! Thank you again”

“Cara did a great job taking care of my cat while I was away! I really appreciated her thoughtful updates about how he was doing, and she made me feel better knowing that he was under her care. She was a consistent and reliable caretaker.”

About: Cat Care Experience – What Sets Us Apart I have extensive experience caring for cats and have been around them my entire life. I understand that cats thrive on routine, calm energy, and respect for their boundaries, and I take a gentle, patient approach to their care. I am comfortable with all aspects of cat care, including feeding, fresh water, litter box maintenance, playtime, companionship, and administering medications when needed. I take extra care to keep litter areas clean and odor-free and always make sure your home is left tidy and respected. My daughter has also grown up around cats and loves animals deeply. She may assist me with visits under my supervision, usually after school, and enjoys providing extra affection and gentle interaction for cats who enjoy companionship. I am the primary caregiver and handle all responsibilities, communication, and care decisions. Every cat is treated as an individual, and I tailor care to their personality — whether they’re playful, shy, senior, or simply prefer quiet company. Please note: As a recipient of chemo recently, I know how very hard it is to take care of your beloved animals during treatment. If you are currently undergoing chemo, please reach out and let me know and we will reduce our rates for a weekly drop in. Just let us know you need help 🩷🎗️
“Richard was great! He was friendly, professional and an excellent communicator. My cats loved him and he sent cute photos of their time together. I recommend Richard as a sitter!”

“I had an excellent experience with Shanley as my cat sitter. Communication was clear and timely throughout, which made me feel at ease while I was away. Shanley went above and beyond by not only taking great care of my cat but also cleaning up and even doing some dishes. Highly recommended!”

“Lisa did a great job with our two very nervous and shy cats who don't enjoy new strangers around (making feeding difficult). Being the cats' first time with Lisa, Lisa was very patient with them, while still engaging with them at a respectful distance so that they got used to her presence. She also did a great job communicating with us, which we valued a lot, and sharing the progress with the cats with photos, details and responding quickly. Overall, great experience!”

“Zsa-Zsa was wonderful! She took such great care of our three cats and kept us updated with regular messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She followed all of our instructions perfectly and was super communicative. We came home to happy cats and a tidy home :) I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and attentive sitter!”

“Cameron was wonderful with our cats Wally and Oreo. He sent fun photos everyday and even our shy cat seemed comfy with him. It’s nice to go out of town and know everyone will be taken care of.”

“Bingyan went above and beyond for our 2 cats while we traveled for a week, sending us detailed updates along with photos and videos, and even putting out our cans on garbage day. We hope we get the chance to work with him again!”

“One word: AWESOME! Vivian was an amazing caretaker not only for our cat Luna, but for our backyard chickens too! Each visit we received a bunch of photos of both Luna and our chickens and Vi also came over before our scheduled visit to go over all our instructions. Would DEFINITELY book again!”

About: I’ve cared for cats for years through cat sitting for family and friends, as well as professionally while working for a pet care company, See Spot Sit in San Diego. I’m comfortable with cats of different temperaments and understand how important it is to respect their routines and personalities. I’m experienced with feeding schedules, litter box maintenance, playtime, and providing a calm, low-stress environment while owners are away. Whether a cat is social and playful or more shy and independent, I’m patient, attentive, and focused on making sure they feel safe and well cared for!

“Went above and beyond taking care of my two cats! I felt so comfortable (and happy!) with the care she gave them between lots of extra love, fixing the litter robot (thanks again! lol), and great reports that let me know everything going on with them. Will definitely have her help watch them again for me!”

“As always, Terence did an incredible job of caring for my cats who are so comfortable and at ease with him. He took special care to make sure my senior kitty with urinary issues was going to the bathroom and administering medication to both my cats. It was such a huge relief to me. I can't recommend Terence enough.”

“Shelly was great and I came home to a very happy cat! My sitter plans fell through at the last minute, so I messaged Shelly asking if she could come over for a meet and greet the same night so she could start visiting my cat beginning the following day. I was mainly concerned with my cat getting enough human interaction while I was away. Shelly responded right away and was very prompt for our meeting. She was friendly and my cat felt comfortable w her right away. Shelly visited my cat for the 4 days I was away and I came home to a very happy and content cat. I'll be booking with her again:)”

This has been an awesome experience, we will definitely book with Bobby again!!”

About: As a dedicated and experienced pet sitter, I am passionate about providing the best care possible for all types of pups. As a specialized pet sitter for bully breeds and small dogs, I understand the unique needs and quirks of these adorable dogs. With years of experience and a deep love for all things pup, I am committed to providing the highest level of care and attention to your furry friend. Everything from numerous short walks and playtime (temperature permitting) to feeding and medication administration, you can trust me to provide reliable and compassionate care for your dog. I am dedicated to ensuring your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you're away. My home has ramps to access all furniture and gates to prevent pups from running up and down stairs to protect their spines and potential IVDD flare ups. Our morning starts off with a walk around the neighborhood, then it’s breakfast time which means training and play with positive reinforcement! Your pup then has playtime with toys and with my dog Penelope if they are up for it or can snooze away. We then take a quick walk during lunch to stretch our legs and say hi to our friends at Rocky’s. After work we love to be in nature and hit the trails or parks to get some steps in! After dinner I love nothing more than to cuddle with the pups on my couch before bed! We have an outdoor deck that the dogs always have access to. Mostly serves as a sunbathing lounge 😎. The deck is also equipped with grass patches for easy potty breaks. Your pup with have the company of my dog, Penelope. She is a playful and well behaved French bulldog. I have a robust routine for her to keep her healthy and prevent her from being affected from her predisposed IVDD. I can easily incorporate any special needs or request that your day may need.

I work part-time so that I can be available during the midday hours on weekdays and weekends. I love hiking, but I find it more enjoyable when I’m around dogs. About: I bring over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, with a particular love and comfort level for well-behaved pups of any size. I previously had multiple Great Danes, so managing large, powerful dogs is second nature to me. I know reside with my 15 lb Aussiedoodle in the East Bay. My care style is calm, attentive, and highly personalized. I focus on creating a relaxed, structured environment where dogs feel secure, understood, and genuinely cared for. I especially enjoy long walks, outdoor time, and thoughtful enrichment that keeps dogs mentally engaged as well as physically exercised. Whether your dog thrives on adventure, routine, or simply peaceful companionship, I tailor care to their individual temperament and needs. While I adore dogs of all sizes, I naturally connect with well-mannered large and giant breeds. Their personalities, presence, and gentle nature have always been my sweet spot. My Approach • Calm, grounded energy • Long, engaging walks • Enrichment & mental stimulation • Respect for routines & preferences • Reliable, boutique-style care I understand how important it is to trust someone with your dog. My goal is always to provide a level of care that feels thoughtful, intuitive, and genuinely reassuring. Looking forward to meeting you and your pup 🐾 I have intentionally limited daytime availability, which allows me to provide highly attentive, unrushed care. Rather than juggling multiple bookings, I typically focus on one household per day so your pet receives my full presence, energy, and attention. I own and operate a small business, and during this season I’m choosing to supplement my days doing something I genuinely love — spending time with animals. Caring for pets is something I find grounding, joyful, and deeply rewarding. For walks, I choose safe, calm, low-stress environments. I’m highly mindful of surroundings and well-versed in reading situations to ensure dogs remain comfortable and relaxed. I have extensive experience handling large and giant breeds on leash, and I’m confident managing powerful dogs with steady, grounded energy. Off-leash activity is never an option unless within your pet’s own familiar environment and based entirely on your preferences. Trust & Care for Your Home I understand that inviting someone into your home requires a high level of trust. I treat every home with the same respect, discretion, and care I would expect for my own. I’m naturally tidy, conscientious, and attentive to details — whether that means maintaining cleanliness, following household preferences, or ensuring your space is left exactly as you’d expect. Referrals are gladly provided upon request. I’ve been trained to remain observant and considerate of other dogs, children, and potential stressors, and I proactively navigate walks in a way that prioritizes safety and ease for your dog. Your pet’s well-being, security, and peace of mind are always my highest priority.
About: I have been around and taking care of animals since I was a kid! Growing up on my grandmas farm with 7 dogs, 5 horses, 9 cats and about 50 llamas taught me how to properly care for animals of all kinds, and how they can also take care of you! I had a pug named Fergus growing up and have lived with a pitbull mix for about 6 years, who I love to care for. I have also always had cats and have raised 3 rabbits! I love animals of all kinds, I can’t wait to meet yours ! I am an art student, and would love to care for your pet in my free time ! I’m available weekends and afternoons mon-friday ! I am not currently available available to host pets in my home but would love to visit your pet in your home to feed, give love and attention and let them out to run around and play games !
About: I’ve had pets for 14 years ranging from small dogs, to cats, to rats and hamsters. In the last year, my family has dog sat for friends on vacation and foster puppies. My daughters (age 10 and 12) are particularly obsessed with small dogs, and regularly walk several of our neighbors dogs. We would love to welcome yours into our home. I work from home M-W-F and someone is usually home most weekends. We all love snuggling up with dogs as we work, watch movies, as well as taking them on walks or jogs in our neighborhood. I have a big fenced in yard, lots of space inside where the dogs can roam freely and safely without getting into trouble. They would also have my two daughters to play with, who are old enough to understand how to engage with dogs playfully but also know when to give them space. And are young enough to be home most of the time on weekends and evenings!
“Isabella is a very responsible and caring dog person. She has been caring for my pup for 7 months in a variety of ways: day/evening care, walks, and house sitting. What has impressed me most is her ability to build a bond with my people-shy and anxious pup. She is patient and kind, speaks to him in a thoughtful way and shows genuine concern for his well-being. Other skills and traits that Isabella possesses: -reliable and consistent communicator sending updates and reaching out when she has questions -flexibility with regards to scheduling, if need be, she makes adjustments -conscientious in administering my dogs meds and feeding him treats and special food -safety and privacy is top of mind with Isabella and she follows house rules and special med instructions in caring for my dog Last but not least, I have no reservations when going away because I know she will take good care of my home. I highly recommend Isabella to care for anyone's pet, they will love her!”

“Zsa-zsa is phenomenal and did a great job caring for my old dog while I was out of town. She is communicative and kind and clearly has a way with the four-legged among us. She'll be our go-to-gal from here on out!”

“Cindy was my first rover walker and she did not disappoint! She was responsive and followed directions. My pup is overly excited when meeting new people and Cindy did great. Thank you Cindy for taking good care of my lulu. I definitely recommended her and will be booking Cindy from now on.”

“Annalise did an amazing job with Happy! Happy is a very friendly but anxious dog. I’m glad he got along with Annalise :) would definitely book again since I’m a frequent traveller.”

About: I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats, and I’ve been pet sitting since I was 13, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. Over the years, I’ve looked after pets of all ages, including high-energy puppies and kittens, as well as senior pets who need a calmer, more attentive approach. I’m reliable, patient, and very detail-oriented when it comes to routines, feeding, walks, medications, and making sure pets feel comfortable while their owners are away. I know every animal has a different personality, and I always try to make them feel safe, relaxed, and cared for. Whether your pet loves lots of playtime or prefers a quieter environment, I’m happy to adjust to what works best for them. I recently graduated from UC Berkeley and currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule. I’m available early mornings and later evenings Monday through Wednesday, and I have pretty open availability Thursday through Sunday for drop-ins, walks, feeding, and playtime. I’m reliable with timing and happy to work around each pet’s usual routine to make sure they stay comfortable and consistent while you’re away. I follow all instructions carefully for feeding, walks, litter boxes, medications, and any specific habits or preferences each pet has. I also make sure to give them attention and playtime based on their personality whether that is active engagement or a more calm, hands-off presence for shy or independent pets. I am very respectful of the home as well, keeping things clean, secure, and exactly as I found them. My goal is always to make the experience as low-stress as possible for both the pet and the owner so everything feels consistent while you are away.
“Tim provided wonderful care for my puppy during a difficult time. They understood her needs, communicated clearly, were really respectful of my home. I noticed that they remembered specific concerns I had made sure to keep those im mind. I also appreciated the thoughtful pictures they sent and their intentionality in the details they provided about how the care went and how much puppy was doing. Thank you, Tim!”

“Richard was incredible with our new puppy. Moro can be a bit of a handful, but Richard was so good to him on the walks and provided him with all the care he needed. We really appreciated Richard's timely communication and engaging updates. We even got a helpful doggy report card at the end of our vacation! Moro looks forward to spending more time with Richard in the future.”

“Sophie has been amazing with my girl Rosie as she adjusts to city life. She has made a huge impact on keeping her calm and helping keep her active by giving her good exercise and working with to stay calm and focused while encountering squirrels, other dogs and loud noises on their walks. I have noticed such a change due to Sophie's interventions. Sophie is prompt, communicative and kind. A one of a kind! Rosie adores her!”

“Nasreddine has been a really great sitter for Rosco. Her place is like his home away from home where she hangs out with him, takes him on walks and even lets him snuggle with blankets. Even when Rosco began anxiety marking around her home, she was reassuring and understanding while being very communicative. Highly recommend.”

“Her and her partner are excellent they took my pup in and she was so happy playing with their pups thank you guys and if I need people to watch my do I will always request yall.”

“Sharon took great care of Cain, especially given a recent health concern that popped up for him right before we were leaving for our trip. I felt that he was comfortable and in great care!”

“Alexandra is such a great pet sitter. We have a very high energy dog and she makes sure he gets plenty of exercise and socializing with other dogs. She also is wonderful about keeping us informed on his daily status and sends pictures and videos. She is our go to for pet sitting.”

“Chad was an excellent host. He has a welcoming house and yard. He keeps the number of dogs small so it's manageable for all involved. I got daily updates from him including pictures. Would recommend.”

“Kristen and Ryan were incredibly warm and accommodating when first meeting my small and nervous doggie. They showed their home and clearly demonstrated a level of care and experience that gave me a lot of comfort and would definitely rebook. They were also attentive of how our dogs interacted and made sure they experienced little to no distress. Highly recommend their services 🩷”

“Alexis was wonderful with our dog Waffle! Waffle stayed over the 4th of July weekend, and fireworks make her anxious, but Alexis was so kind and patient with her. Alexis sent lots of photos and updates, which was great. We'd gladly have her watch Waffle again!”
