Pet Sitting Rockridge

About: For the last four years I’ve lived in a home with two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. One was a senior at 13 years old and the other is three. I’ve learned how to adapt to their different needs based on age and personality while setting boundaries and aligning to my Housemate’s desires for their care. (Which has helped me get to know new dogs pretty quickly.) We walk, play and cuddle. When needed I administer medication, feed them, and sometimes cook for them. I look forward to chatting with you about your family’s needs. When house sitting I do not schedule any other families for walks or drop-ins. The care I provide is all inclusive so that your baby gets all of my love and care. If I am not house sitting, I’m available everyday after 11am for walks and drop-ins within a 1 mile radius of lower Rockridge or easily reachable by public transportation. To ensure safety and comfort, I won’t be walking any other dogs outside of your household. I am available to spend time with your pet(s) in their home where they will be the most comfortable. I’ll come to you for walks.

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I treat every pup like one of my own! I’m experienced with small breeds, energetic dogs, and those who just want a cozy lap and some extra attention. Whether we’re playing fetch, going on walks, or enjoying a lazy afternoon nap, my goal is to make your dog feel safe, loved, and completely at home. As a pup parent myself, I believe pet parents deserve frequent updates and lots of photos, so you can relax knowing your best friend is having a great time too. I work from home so I’m flexible during the day and evenings for pet care. I tend to go to the dog park or on hikes a couple times per week. I make sure my client’s homes are better than how I found them. I like to send lots of pics and updates when staying in clients homes, and of course follow all rules and guidelines.

We treat every animal like part of our family and understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet with someone you trust. I am the primary caregiver and fully responsible for all services, scheduling, communication, and safety. My daughter joins me for walks and visits when appropriate, under my supervision, and absolutely adores spending time with animals. She has grown up around pets and is gentle, patient, and respectful of their needs. We’re especially great with dogs who enjoy extra attention, calm companionship, and consistency. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or overnight care, your pet will be safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m happy to answer any questions and always offer a meet-and-greet so you can feel completely comfortable. Pet care is a natural and consistent part of my daily and weekly routine. I plan my schedule around dog walks and drop-in visits after school and work so that pets receive reliable, on-time care and unhurried attention. Anytime after 5pm M-F and Saturday and Sundays we are pretty open, just send a request and we will do our best to accommodate you and your fur baby. I intentionally limit the number of bookings I accept to ensure each pet (including our own fur babies) gets the time, patience, and care they deserve. For dog walking and drop-in visits, I focus on providing calm, attentive, and reliable care while maintaining your pet’s normal routine. I am the primary caregiver and personally handle all walks, visits, communication, and safety. My daughter may accompany me at times under my supervision and helps provide extra love and companionship, but all care decisions and responsibilities are mine. During walks, I prioritize safety first by using secure leashes, following your preferred routes, and adjusting pace and distance to your dog’s age, energy level, and comfort. Walks include positive reinforcement, sniff time, and plenty of attention. For drop-in visits, I make sure your pet is comfortable and cared for by providing fresh food and water, potty breaks, playtime, medication if needed, and lots of affection. I respect your home, follow all instructions carefully, and always leave things tidy. I provide regular updates with notes and photos so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. Every pet is treated like a member of our family, with patience, kindness, and consistency.

About: I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels, including feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic medications, and providing lots of attention and companionship. I’m very attentive to pets’ routines and comfort levels, and I always aim to make them feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while their owners are away. I also understand the importance of clear communication and sending regular updates and photos. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to spend quality time with pets throughout the day. I currently work full time with a work from home schedule 3 days a week, which gives me availability for walks, drop-ins, boarding, and extended care. I’m able to provide plenty of supervision, attention, exercise, and companionship to make sure pets are happy and comfortable in my care. I work from home 3 days a week (M W F). And I'm home most weekends. My job is flexible so as long as I don't have meetings I can take breaks throughout the day as needed for pets. I've taken my friend's dogs on walks during my work hours and given attention to pets during their stay, treats and cuddles :) I have an open space layout so I will be able to be close to the pet and see what they're doing while I'm home.

About: I'm an outdoorsy, active sitter who loves getting dogs outside and moving, but I’m just as happy hanging back with pups who prefer to relax. As a runner, I’m great at helping high-energy dogs burn off steam with runs, long walks, and playtime so they come home happy and tired. I’m good at reading what each dog needs and matching their vibe and I'm just as comfortable with energetic young dogs as I am with older pups who need a slower, more patient pace. Whether your dog wants adventure or just some chill company, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I currently have a very flexible schedule, and I'm more than happy to work something out. Weekdays work best, early mornings or anything before 5pm, though I'm happy to be flexible! If your dog is with me they'll have ample time to relax, get outside or play some tug of war. I'm very perceptive of animals state's of mind and make every effort to make sure they're getting what they need.
