About: While I'm new to Rover, I have over 10 years experience taking care of my friends and family's cats, dogs, insects, and plants. I'm excited to start this business on Rover and extend that pet/plant care to the people in my East Bay community! I'm a landscape horticulture student in Oakland, so when I'm not in class, working in my garden, or spending time with my own kitties, I love taking care of my friends, neighbors, and families' pets. They bring so much silliness and happiness into my routine! When walking your dogs or taking care of your pets in your home, respect, safety, and trust are my top priorities. About: Animals have always been a very important part of my life. Growing up, my mother operated a small pet rescue and animal shelter organization in Asia, and from a very young age I helped care for rescued dogs, cats, and abandoned animals alongside her. Over the years, we helped rescue and rehome thousands of animals, many of whom came from difficult or traumatic situations. caring for animals feels completely natural to me. I do not see pets as “just animals.” I genuinely believe they are family members who deserve love, patience, emotional safety, and respect. In many ways, I believe animals carry one of the purest forms of unconditional love, and sometimes they deserve even more kindness and gentleness than humans receive. I have experience caring for pets with very different personalities, medical conditions, and emotional needs, including senior pets, rescue animals, anxious dogs, and cats requiring medication and special routines. I am highly attentive to behavioral changes, feeding routines, emotional comfort, cleanliness, and creating calm environments where animals feel safe and relaxed.

About: I volunteered at the Tuolumne County SPCA with my grandparents from the time I was a child until my Grandpa passed away a couple of years ago. I cared for kittens who had lost their mothers, elder dogs and cats who had lost their pet parents, and everything in between. I have participated in volunteer adoption events, and helped many pets find their furever homes. Beyond that, I am a life long dog and cat mom and animal lover. I will have puppies and kittens to seniors well cared for and comfortable. I am studying online to get an advanced degree in Psychology, so I have ample availability to show up and care for your fur-baby. I like to help create calm by sticking to their routine. They should be fed on their regular schedule, dogs should be walked and given potty breaks on the schedule they are used to, play and cuddles should be abundant and documentation and communication should be consistent. Litterboxes and food dishes should be kept clean and well maintained. All of this should work together to ensure that pets and pet-parents are all calm and happy while parents are away.

About: I would love to care for your pet and provide them as much walks, runs, or scritches. I have taken care of cats and my rambunctious dog Kona as well as several rover friends when I was in college. I am prepared for all sorts of personalities and super excited to help out. I work from home most days so am happy to go on many walks and feed them on whatever schedule that they are accustomed to. We live near parks so the neighborhood is a convenient area to walk around. Our household has no pets and I only want to care for one pet at a time, so the home will be private and they will have our undivided attention. I live in the temescal Piedmont area and would love to take your pet out on frequent walks.
