“Victoria was very calm, collected and kind. She was flexible with our last minute needs and able to handle our very high energy doberman puppy with ease. Will be booking again - 10/10!”

“Best dogsitter ever. Sam handled our frightened little reactive baby with excellent care! We've had a lot of Rovers, and I've never felt so at ease or so sure that our babies were being loved as I did with Sam. We came home to a clean home and two happy girls with wagging tails.”

“This was our second time trusting Nicky to watch our dogs, and she did a fabulous job once again. During our week-and-a-half international trip, she kept us updated with plenty of photos and updates—our dogs always looked happy and healthy. When I returned, the house was tidy, the dogs were freshly brushed, their eyes were clean, and their water bowls were full. I couldn’t have asked for more peace of mind while being so far away. I have no complaints and would absolutely hire her again!”

“Caroline is very professional, easy to work with, and took great care of our puppy and elderly dog. We only worked with her for one night but we would definetely hire her again.”

“Malia was a pleasure to have! I felt like my boys were in good hands with her, and she was very responsive while I was out of town. She sent me picture updates and I felt like a friend was taking care of my apartment. I would definitely recommend Malia and will rebook with her again! :)”

“Charlii was wonderful! Kept us posted on how our pup was doing, as well as made sure he was warm and cared for during the cold wonder days. Highly recommend her to watch your precious fur balls!”

“Jena provided exceptional pet sitting services for our two bulldogs. Her communication was outstanding throughout the stay, keeping us promptly informed of any concerns and proactively offering to coordinate veterinary care when one of our dogs experienced paw issues. Her attention to detail extended beyond pet care - she maintained the house immaculately and took the initiative to launder and remake the guest bedroom. Regular updates about our dogs' well-being gave us complete peace of mind during our absence. Based on this experience, we wholeheartedly endorse Jena as a trustworthy and professional pet sitter!”

“Linda was a great sitter for my affection starved cat. She made sure he was fed twice a day, and had given him plenty of human time. She sent photos as well. I highly recommend Linda for caring after your pets. Very happy indeed.”

About: Don’t tell my cat, but I’ve become a real dog person over the last 10 years. I love walking doggies and have extended stay dog sitting experience! I’m in the West Berkeley neighborhood and have a vehicle. Looking forward to exploring the neighborhood with your furry friends! I’m currently working part-time remotely so have lots of flexibility in terms of time and availability. I do travel from time to time but largely around the East Bay. I keep things clean. As a cat owner cleaning and sweeping litter is a ritual and there is nothing more that I loathe than left dog poo on the sidewalk and will always make sure your pet is properly cleaned up after. I love giving head scratches and cuddles to furry friends and like to make sure they feel extra loved when they are with me.

“This was my second time working with Zsa-Zsa and she was great! Her communication leading up to the stay and during the stay was thorough and detailed. My dogs were excited to see her when she arrived at the house; that’s always a good sign!”

“Alix was an absolute pleasure to have watch my sweet little Lucifer dog! I'm almost afraid my dog might love her more than me 🥲Alix was very responsive and easy to work with, I can't wait to use her services again the next time I need a good soul to keep my animal company. Thanks again!”

“Angela was amazing! She offered to do a meet and greet before sitting, which was perfect for my dog who is a little wary of new people. I also got plenty of updates and pictures. And I was able to enjoy my time away worry free because she was in such good hands.”

“Irina was calm, patient, and thoughtful with our dog-child, Sally. She met us ahead of time for a meet and great, and asked great questions. She really took such great care of our girl! She also took such great photos, which made us feel so comfortable and happy that she was there. Not to mention, she also left the house so clean. We are so grateful to have found her, she’s such a gem.”

About: I grew with my dogs ( Husky and Shizu) and kitty (Luna). I am obsessed with them! They passed away of age when I was in college and miss them dearly. I am unable to have a pet of my own due to my apartment regulations so looking to fill my heart by helping you care for your furry children! I would like to spend more time outdoors after work so dog walking would be an amazing way to jump start that goal! After noon walks would be amazing. I also work from home some days so being able to take walk your pet for my breaks would be relaxing for me. I make sure I have the proper tools I need to keep the dog healthy and safe. That means carrying poop bags, bowls, water bottles, treats that can nourish your pet while on its walk.

About: I've always been in contact with all sorts of animals from dogs, cats, birds etc. Recently I've been taking more and more care of the dogs of my family, friends, and family friends when they are out of town. These pups are all different types of breeds with different needs such as medication, specific diet, and general care (bathing, brushing, exercise etc) so I am pretty confident in caring for all sorts of pups! Hi, I’m Louis! I’m an active-duty Coast Guardsman who enjoys staying fit and spending time outdoors. My fiancée and I both love animals, so we decided to start dog walking together in our free time. It’s a great way for us to get outside, stay active, and give your pups the care and attention they deserve. Whether your dog needs a casual stroll or an energetic walk, we’re happy to help. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friends! When caring for pets, their comfort and well-being are my top priorities. In a client’s home, I make sure to follow any specific instructions regarding feeding, exercise, and routines to keep their pets happy and stress-free. I provide plenty of playtime, belly rubs, and companionship to ensure they feel safe and loved while their owner is away. Due to my lease agreement, I’m unable to host pets in my own home, but I’m more than happy to care for them in their familiar environment. Whether it’s daily walks, check-ins, or extended care, I ensure each pet gets the attention, exercise, and affection they need while their owners are away.

“Ashley was wonderful. She took great care of our Murphy, sent messages and pictures, and left great feedback. I would not hesitate to ask her to housesit again.”

“William did an outstanding job taking care of our three dogs. They were very happy when we got home and were very well cared for. He followed the instructions that we left. He left the house in great shape. This is the second time we use him to take care of our babies and will definitely use him again.”

About: I fell in love with dogs when I was 12 and we got our first puppy, Kishu, a basset hound who tripped over her ears all the time. Since then I have cared for all types of dogs, puppy to senior, and loved them all. I have a black lab, Charlie, who I had to leave with my parents in SoCal when I moved up here for school. She’s happy being a spoiled grandchild, but it was really hard leaving her knowing I couldn’t afford a house with a yard up here. I’m hoping to get some dog time in with this app since I miss my baby Charchar so much, and I can’t wait to meet your pups! I’m currently a full time student, so I’m mostly available on weekends and Mondays to walk your dog or stop by to check on them. I am both gentle and able to lead to make sure your dog is lovingly taken care of when you need me. I’ll be there for you and your pup.

17. Louis G.
“Hello, Louis deserves to become a dog sitter/walker through Rover because he’s great with dogs, he is actually the godson of my pit/boxer mix. He has been referred or asked repeatedly through family, friends and references to watch the same dogs because of client satisfaction. He takes them 2-3 times a day on extended walks , makes sure they take their medicine, looks after their daily health ( heat, exhaustion, water, comfort) plus he plays with them and cuddles. He is aware of his surroundings, respects owner privacy and their requests. Service with a smile.”

20. Cristina S.
“Cris was *amazing* as a dog sitter and trainer! I have a fussy pitbull and a Miniature Pinscher who seemed so happy every day. She took great care to follow instructions, send photo updates, and go the extra mile at every turn. We will definitely book again!”
