I have been pet sitting and walking since I started college. I graduated from UC Berkeley in 2021 and now care for pets while working full time in a hybrid role. I have experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, needs, and histories. I am comfortable administering medication if needed. I love animals and do this work to make some money on the side, but also because it brings me so much joy!

Valerie was of tremendous assistance to me during a family emergency. Valerie house sat for me and was very respectful of my space. She was very responsive and communicative in taking care of my trio, which includes my deaf dog. I would highly recommend her for any pet care needs. I will definitely book her again as the need, and her availability, arises.

Valerie was great! Rafa took to her immediately and really enjoyed her company and care. She provided plenty of pictures and updates throughout the day, which we really appreciated. She asked lots of questions demonstrating her attention to Rafa’s particular needs. We highly recommend Valerie!

Schedule
I am available to provide frequent potty breaks and walks during boarding at my home. When sitting, I am happy to stay at the pet’s home to attend to all of their needs (especially pets and cuddles 🥰).

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a one bedroom apartment and am happy to board pets overnight. Pet parents should bring a bed and any necessary materials so that I may feed and walk their pet. For overnight stays at clients' homes, I am happy to discuss any needs of the household and go over your expectations for my time in your space.
A typical day
When in my care, dogs will receive daily walks and adequate play time. My neighborhood is friendly with lots of grass to run around in and furry friends to sniff.
