About: I believe dogs and cats have a way of communicating, and I’ve learned to understand them deeply, creating a truly rewarding connection. I can read their subtle cues and know exactly what they need. I’m partially retired, and because I love dogs, caring for them fits perfectly into my daily routine. This opportunity allows me to spend quality time with your four-legged family member while helping you with their care on a temporary basis. I have owned my home for the last 20 years and have been an active member of my HOA board, even leading the security committee for several years—demonstrating my commitment to a safe, secure environment. Additionally, I rescued and cared for a 10-pound Pomeranian in my condo for six wonderful years, ensuring his well-being daily. These experiences reflect my dedication to responsible care and vigilance—qualities I bring to any dog walking service.

About: I have a deep love and appreciation of cats and dogs. As a sitter, I enjoy playing with toys and giving affection as desired. Generally I center consent and let the pet decide how much affection they want. I work as a yoga instructor at night, but other than that my schedule is fairly flexible. I am available in the morning, afternoon, and after 9 pm. I’m happy to pet sit in your home. I can change the liter, brush, feed and entertain your cat. I love taking dogs on long walks. I can also help with sweeping and light cleaning.
About: I get dogs. Seriously. I notice the dozens of signals, from facial expressions to body, tail, and vocal cues, and respond in ways that keep them safe, calm, and confident. My raison d'etre is to help dogs grow. Fur parents trust me because I’m dependable, chill, and fully tuned in to their pup’s needs. From playful puppies to wise seniors, every dog in my care feels safe, loved, and understood. Overnight stays? I’ve got it handled - your dog gets enrichment and comfort, and you get total peace of mind. I work from home 3–4 hours a day, but my schedule is completely flexible. This means I’m available most days and evenings to walk, play with, and supervise dogs. I integrate pet care into my daily rhythm, paying close attention to each dog’s energy, cues, and individual needs. Overnight stays are smooth and comforting, with consistent routines and plenty of companionship. Being home for flexible periods allows me to provide reliable, attentive care, ensuring every pup feels happy, safe, and understood while their owners are away. Safety, trust, and a chill environment come first. My home is cozy and indoor-focused, with plenty of walks, play, and attention. I have an eight-year-old mix who’s friendly with some dogs, so I make sure every pup is a good fit before visits. I tune into each dog’s energy, supervise interactions closely, and keep owners in the loop — so every pup feels secure, happy, and genuinely understood.

“Yena did an excellent job taking care of my cats. I have one sassy yet shy cat who has typically been fearful of past cat sitters. However, with Yena, I noticed a difference—she actually warmed up to her, which I consider a great sign. Yena was responsive and attentive to all the details. I would definitely book her again!”

Eric has a friendly demeanor and is very calm and clearly a dog lover. I appreciated all the pictures that showed me what a nice time they had together. We will definitely use him in the future.”

I do not currently offer pet care at my home but can travel to yours. I’m responsible and treat dogs with the same love and care as humans !

My clinical experience is vast, and I am proficient in everything from medication administration to monitoring post-operative patients. On top of that, I have unique hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of species gained during my time at the San Francisco Zoo. What this means for you: Safety First: I am highly trained to recognize and respond to potential medical issues quickly. Specialized Experience: Need someone comfortable with insulin injections, sub-Q fluids, or complicated medication schedules? I’ve got it covered. I currently work from home part-time doing administrative work for a leading veterinary company as I transition from in clinic work to pet-care full time. I will give each pet the chance to get to know me, as well to get to know them, so our bond will become as close as it is with you.
“Rachel (Yeon Soo) did a wonderful job caring for my senior cat who requires daily medication. She took the time to give her lots of love and sent great photos and updates. I won't hesitate to hire her again!”

About: I have experience caring for service and companion dogs, especially for elderly clients whose pets require consistent routines. I’m experienced giving dogs oral medications and supporting senior pets with patience and care. I take pride in being gentle, dependable, and easy to communicate with. Pet care fits naturally into my day. I typically walk and care for dogs in the mornings and again in the late afternoon or early evening, between other project work I do from home. This routine allows me to be consistent, flexible, and fully present for each dog I care for. When caring for dogs in their own homes, I always follow the owner’s routine and instructions closely — from feeding and medications to preferred walking routes. I double-check gates, doors, and leashes before every walk and keep dogs on secure leads at all times. I communicate updates after each visit so you know your dog is safe, comfortable, and cared for.

About: I’ve been raising a very cute black pug for four years. For some reason, I couldn’t bring him with me and I miss him a lot. I really love dogs, so I’d love to do some dog-related work in my free time. I’m happy to let dogs on the sofa or bed, since I always clean them up after walks to make sure both they and the environment stay clean. I’ve spent time with many different dogs, including some that were initially unfriendly. By offering treats, approaching them slowly, and taking the time to get to know them, I was able to build trust. I’m very patient with dogs! From Monday to Friday, I’m usually out for 2–4 hours a day, but I’m home all day on weekends. During my free time, I’m happy to take dogs out to play. 1. Diet: I carefully control meal portions and feeding times, and always make sure dogs stay hydrated—especially in hot weather. After walks, I wait 5–10 minutes before giving them water. 2. Hygiene: I clean eye discharge promptly and keep both the dogs and their environment clean. 3. Exercise: I walk dogs 2–3 times a day. 30min/walk. 4. Playtime: In my free time, I love playing fetch, tug-of-war, or hide-and-seek with them. 5. Companionship: I spend as much time with them as possible. 6. Safety on walks: Dogs are always leashed outside. I stay alert when they interact with other dogs and separate them immediately if there are signs of aggression. I also make sure they don’t eat things off the ground, and I always clean up after them. 7. Sleeping: I used to sleep with my own dog, so if your dog is used to that, they’re welcome to join me too.

Golden Gate pet parents share their Rover experiences
Maia is amazing! I got to connect with her through video before booking and I could tell she was a genuine and caring person who would care for our furry friend like she was her own. We typically come back after trips and our cat is anxious and upset. After Maia's visits, our cat was very relaxed and happy. Very pleased and would book Maia again!

Yena has done drop in visits for Emmy Lou three times now. Every time I'm just as impressed and appreciative! Her communication and attentiveness ahead of a booking and during it is a pet owner's dream. Her after visit Rover Card's are always thoughtful, detailed, and include several pictures. Highly recommend! Thanks for another great experience, Yena!

Laura cared for my cat at my apartment while I was out of town. My cat is very shy with new people, but Laura quickly charmed her with good vibes and treats. Laura is very professional, punctual, communicative, and always looking for ways to go above and beyond. I couldn’t be happier with this pet sitter, and I will definitely request visits from her in the future.

Nick took excellent care of my two cats for 10 days while I was out of town. He is kind, caring, responsible, communicative, and great with cats. My normally shy senior cat was immediately comfortable with him, and Nick was extremely patient and sensitive to the needs of my rescued feral kitten who is very scared of people. I highly recommend Nick's services; your pets will be in good hands!

Emily was an absolutely wonderful cat sitter. She took such great care of Louie while we were out of town for the week and treated him with so much gentleness and attention. She made sure he was well fed, comfortable, and clearly cared for, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. It’s obvious she truly loves animals, and Louie was in great hands. I would happily book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful, reliable cat sitter.

Richard is a gem. I was nervous about leaving our energetic young cat alone for a week for the first time, but the experience couldn't have been better from start to finish. He asked very thoughtful questions at our meet and greet about our preferences and our cat's needs. He responds quickly, has a relaxed and friendly demeanor, communicates well, and is an attentive caregiver. Our kitty needs to play hard each day to keep her from getting bored and destructive, and we came home to a relaxed and happy cat and an intact house. It was obvious she was well cared for. Highly recommend Richard!
