Thanks Yen!!! Yen was a wonderful cat sitter. Her 1-hour visits, including big play sessions, were a lifesaver while I was away. She provided me lots of sweet photos and updates on food and litter habits throughout the week. Great communicator too. Will be booking Yen again in the future!

Zoe did a great job with my dog Theo, who can be a bit quirky especially around other dogs. She brought her own dog to meet him, and said they did great! She was easy to communicate with and sent great pics. Would trust her with Theo again anytime!

Yena was absolutely wonderful! 100/100 would book her again! This was my first time using Rover or any dog watching service/platform for Emmy and I couldn't have asked for a better experience or person. From the start, Yena was very kind, professional, and helpful in the booking and meet&greet process. She was flexible and accommodating with my last minute request as my original plan for the weekend fell through. The meet & greet went really well with Emmy, and Yena asked all the questions that make a pet owner feel comfortable and confident leaving their loved one in her hands. During the booking, Yena sent thorough and fun updates along with several photos of each drop by and tracked her routines even reaching out a day where Emmy didn't finish her food but noted that she was still excited about treats. Reassuring me that she cared about Emmy, wanted to know if I felt anything was off, and understood the stress some animals can experience when their owners are away. She even washed her food and water bowls that were getting a little grimy! I felt 100% comfortable, confident, and at ease that Emmy was in good hands with Yena. 10/10 would recommend her for your pet! THANK YOU YENA!!!

Erik was fantastic. He was punctual and sweet with our puppy, Millie. She had a lovely walk with him and she went to the dog park and met a puppy friend. Eric has a friendly demeanor and is very calm and clearly a dog lover. I appreciated all the pictures that showed me what a nice time they had together. We will definitely use him in the future.

About: I am a pawrent of one doggo and two gattos. I love to pet sit for my friends (cats, dogs, bunnies, anything w a heartbeat). Grew up on a cow farm and married a vet tech, my dark clothes have always had some sort of pet fur. Given special diets, special care and homemake treats. Currently a part-time lifeguard, so tons of time to hangout w your fur baby! I mostly work mornings (5am-9am weekdays, 7am-11am weekends). Any time outside of that is available to be spent caring for pets :) I assure the pet is acquainted and comfortable with me in order to work together. Love to bring homemade treats and make a puzzle for them to find it. Will always adhere to any restrictions and make sure we are on the same page.

About: I’m a full time artist and WFH sitter with over 15 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages including Puppies, seniors, special needs pets, and sensitive personalities. I live a calm and quiet lifestyle with my senior corgi, Mochi, and my sweet, dog friendly cat, Mumu. Because I’m home most of the day, your pet will get steady attention, a peaceful environment, and care that never feels rushed. My dog Mochi is 10 and has had many health issues, including back leg mobility problems. Caring for her has given me strong experience with senior dogs, medication schedules, mobility support, slow routines, anxious pets and even stroller walks. I grew up with many pets, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I’ve experienced a negligent sitter in the past whose carelessness sent my dog to the hospital. Because of that I take this work extremely seriously. I’m attentive, detail oriented, cautious and I never take shortcuts especially with older or delicate pets. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. Because I’m an artist I’ll sometimes doodle a small portrait of your pet if time allows, just a little gift for you. A little about why I joined Rover: I recently moved into a larger space which has allowed me to comfortably host more pets. I also decided to start pet sitting as a way to help offset the rising costs of my senior dog’s insurance. It’s important to me that I can continue providing the best care for her and Rover lets me do that while offering attentive, reliable care to other pets as well. I WFH so I’m home most of the day. Pet care fits naturally into my routine I already have a senior dog with daily feeding, meds so I’m used to gentle and structured care throughout the day. I take breaks to give pets attention, walks, playtime and lots of calm company. Your pet would be part of my daily rhythm not an afterthought I maintain a calm and supervised home where safety comes first. Pets get slow introductions and secure spaces and constant oversight since I work from home. My corgi is crate-trained and my cat has high-ground access so everyone has their own safe zones. I follow your schedule exactly : feeding, walks, meds, and activities so your pet stays on their normal routine. They’ll have a safe comfortable place to play or nap all day and can sleep with me at night if they'd like to. Diet & Feeding I follow your pet’s exact feeding schedule and portion sizes to keep everything consistent. I always make sure pets stay hydrated, especially in warmer weather. I feed my dog and guest dogs separately to avoid any food guarding or stress during mealtimes. Hygiene & Cleanliness I keep pets clean and comfortable throughout the day : wiping paws if needed, cleaning eye discharge and keeping their space tidy. I’m very detailoriented about maintaining a clean safe environment. Walk Safety All dogs are leashed outdoors at all times. I stay alert around other dogs separate pets immediately if there are signs of stress or tension and prevent ground eating or unsafe sniffing areas. I’m always attentive and I clean up after them every time. Sleeping Arrangements My own dog prefers her own bed and doesn’t sleep with me but your dog is welcome to sleep wherever they feel comfortable whether that’s in their own bed, the crate or in the bed with me for extra comfort. I make sure every pet has a safe cozy sleeping setup.

About: I have been a pet/ house sitter for the last 12 plus years. I have looked after animals ranging from dogs and cats of all different breeds, anges, and sizes! I am also familiar with pets who have ailments such as diabetes, and vision, and hearing loss. I have a four day work week and my work day schedule can vary. I am never away from the home for more than 8 hours at a time on my scheduled work days, however, I do live close to where I work and have the flexibility to pop over and take care of potty breaks. I always make time for walks, feedings, and attention throughout the day:) I prioritize creating trust and a safe environment for the animals I look after. Making sure that your pets receive their desired attention is important to me. Keeping to their scheduled feedings, potty breaks, and walk times is something else that I like to make a priority to help ensure they are as comfortable as possible while you’re away!

About: I get dogs. Seriously. I notice the dozens of signals, from facial expressions to body, tail, and vocal cues, and respond in ways that keep them safe, calm, and confident. My raison d'etre is to help dogs grow. Fur parents trust me because I’m dependable, chill, and fully tuned in to their pup’s needs. From playful puppies to wise seniors, every dog in my care feels safe, loved, and understood. Overnight stays? I’ve got it handled - your dog gets enrichment and comfort, and you get total peace of mind. I work from home 3–4 hours a day, but my schedule is completely flexible. This means I’m available most days and evenings to walk, play with, and supervise dogs. I integrate pet care into my daily rhythm, paying close attention to each dog’s energy, cues, and individual needs. Overnight stays are smooth and comforting, with consistent routines and plenty of companionship. Being home for flexible periods allows me to provide reliable, attentive care, ensuring every pup feels happy, safe, and understood while their owners are away. Safety, trust, and a chill environment come first. Because I want to keep my dog emotionally secure, I cannot have your pet in my home. My care is all about fun walks and housesitting! with plenty of walks, play, and attention. I have an eight-year-old mix who’s friendly with some dogs, so I make sure every pup is a good fit before visits. I tune into each dog’s energy, supervise interactions closely, and keep owners in the loop — so every pup feels secure, happy, and genuinely understood.

About: I’ve been raising a very cute black pug for four years. For some reason, I couldn’t bring him with me and I miss him a lot. I really love dogs, so I’d love to do some dog-related work in my free time. I’m happy to let dogs on the sofa or bed, since I always clean them up after walks to make sure both they and the environment stay clean. I’ve spent time with many different dogs, including some that were initially unfriendly. By offering treats, approaching them slowly, and taking the time to get to know them, I was able to build trust. I’m very patient with dogs! From Monday to Friday, I’m usually out for 2–4 hours a day, but I’m home all day on weekends. During my free time, I’m happy to take dogs out to play. 1. Diet: I carefully control meal portions and feeding times, and always make sure dogs stay hydrated—especially in hot weather. After walks, I wait 5–10 minutes before giving them water. 2. Hygiene: I clean eye discharge promptly and keep both the dogs and their environment clean. 3. Exercise: I walk dogs 2–3 times a day. 30min/walk. 4. Playtime: In my free time, I love playing fetch, tug-of-war, or hide-and-seek with them. 5. Companionship: I spend as much time with them as possible. 6. Safety on walks: Dogs are always leashed outside. I stay alert when they interact with other dogs and separate them immediately if there are signs of aggression. I also make sure they don’t eat things off the ground, and I always clean up after them. 7. Sleeping: I used to sleep with my own dog, so if your dog is used to that, they’re welcome to join me too.

About: I was raised in a rural area surrounded by all kinds of animals, and we always had dogs and cats growing up. I have had the pleasure of dog and cat sitting numerous times over the years. I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats and enjoy spending time with them. I'm new to the Bay Area and looking to devote my time to your pet's schedule. I'm looking forward to getting outside and exploring new neighborhoods with some furry friends. I focus on creating a calm, safe, and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. I stick closely to their pet’s normal routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and any medications to help them feel secure and stress-free. I’m attentive to instructions, respectful of the home, and make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure.

About: Berkeley Humane Society and Oakland Animal Services volunteer, trained with dogs of all temperaments. I also dog sit for family and friends, and love building trust and keeping routines consistent. I focus on quality walks, not quick outings. When appropriate, I take dogs to East Bay spots like Point Isabel, Albany Bulb and Berkeley Marina for space and stimulation. For drop-ins, your dog will get lots of attention, movement and care. I walk my dogs daily, often on longer outings. I adjust pace and distance based on your dog’s needs. Dog care is my priority right now. I’m available mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I have flexibility and I can accommodate longer walks or extended visits I prioritize safety at all times. Dogs will always be on-leash and handled either full attention and control. I had a wonderful experience with Amelia, who took care of my cat for three weeks! She is incredibly attentive and patient. When she first arrived, my cat was very scared and hid away. However, Amelia didn't rush things at all. With her gentle approach and great patience, my cat slowly warmed up to her, and they eventually started interacting and playing together. Having her around for three weeks gave me total peace of mind, knowing my shy cat was in such loving and reliable hands. I am so glad I found Amelia on Rover, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional long-term or short-term pet sitter! Thank you so much Amelia ❤️
