About: I've taken care of many dogs from chihuahua's, poodle mixes, corgi's and pointers. I have the most experience with small dogs but would love to take care of your large pups too! I have experience caring for and feeding medication to senior dogs from Muttville in San Francisco and lived and cared for a very anxious corgi for two years so have a lot of experience navigating and understanding when a dog needs space. I cannot wait to meet your pup! I'm starting grad school in late august so have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available weekdays and weekends for now and will update my schedule once school is back in session. I have a small fenced in yard if the pup needs a quiet enclosed area to play in. I have experience crating anxious corgis and giving medication and am willing to follow any rules you have to ensure good training and safety for your dog. Ultimately, I just want you and your pet to be comfortable!

About: I've been watching dogs for about 7 years now, mostly small and medium dogs, and I have a real soft spot for herding breeds. I love going on walks with them, usually around 30-45 minutes in the neighborhood, to help burn off their energy and keep them active. I especially love walking younger, energetic dogs because I can go longer with them (getting my steps in) but, I also have a big love for senior dogs and take it slower and easier for them. Every dog is different, so I like to give them what they need — whether that's a good long walk or just sweet cuddles and their own space to relax. I try to keep things calm for them the whole time they're with me. I also send lots of pictures throughout the day so you can see your pup enjoying themselves and know they're safe and having a good time. Right now I'm actually watching a friend's dog, and I'd love to bring that same care to your pup too. I do ask for at least 24 hours' notice when possible, just so I can work around everyone's schedule and be fully ready for your dog. I have a lot of flexibility right now and I'm available throughout the week and most weekends, aside from Saturday nights. That means I can usually work around whatever schedule fits you and your pet best. I prefer taking care of animals in their own home. When their family is away, that can be a stressful, uncertain time for them, so making sure they still feel safe and at home is always my top priority. I keep their routine as normal as possible — same feeding times, same walks, same spaces — so the change feels as small as possible for them. If we're at my place instead, I love watching them explore and get curious about a new environment. Helping them feel comfortable and at ease is always the most important thing to me, whether that's in their home or mine.

About: Connection with animals throughout my life whether it be a dog, cat, or when I had a mini farm in my backyard with Shetland ponies and mini goats, animals are very important and I treat them with the same respect I would my own. Currently a student and availability is wide ranged but I've realized not suited for the typical 9-5 as I've previously worked for 3 years at dog daycare but find working solo or a handful of dogs is a better experience overall then trying to rally 30+ dogs although it is pretty fun I will go above and beyond for you and your family and make sure they're comfortable, having a good time whether that being on a walk, run or just lounging around, I have had elderly dogs both personally and at work as well as dogs with disabilities and those that need a bit more love and care.

About: For the last four years I’ve lived in a home with two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. One was a senior at 13 years old and the other is three. I’ve learned how to adapt to their different needs based on age and personality while setting boundaries and aligning to my Housemate’s desires for their care. (Which has helped me get to know new dogs pretty quickly.) We walk, play and cuddle. When needed I administer medication, feed them, and sometimes cook for them. I look forward to chatting with you about your family’s needs. When house sitting I do not schedule any other families for walks or drop-ins. The care I provide is all inclusive so that your baby gets all of my love and care. If I am not house sitting, I’m available everyday after 11am for walks and drop-ins within a 1 mile radius of lower Rockridge or easily reachable by public transportation. To ensure safety and comfort, I won’t be walking any other dogs outside of your household. I am available to spend time with your pet(s) in their home where they will be the most comfortable. I’ll come to you for walks.

About: I have raised a Chi-Weenie from when she was a puppy all the way to her senior years, adopted a Chi-Pit, and my recent love was a Staffy-Lab (Luna, in my profile picture). I have experience with a range of ages and breeds, and I’ll love your pets as my own. I work from home so I am available for walks, feeding, and lots of playtime! My schedule is flexible which means lots of love and pets are available to your fur baby. I always make sure your dog is securely fitted in their harness and/or leash before leaving for walks. I also double check to make sure everything is locked up before leaving.
