About: I grew up in a household with two dogs and two cats, one of whom grew to a very happy old age. Hence I have experience handling puppies from 6 weeks old to senior dogs. This includes reinforcing healthy potty training behaviors, teething behaviors, oral and topical medication applications, light grooming, and playing. With the exception of a couple of days a week I am usually available weekdays, and with special notice I can be available on weekends. Pet visits: I'm based in Emeryville off of San Pablo and am open to visits in Oakland and Berkeley. My main mode of transport is bicycle so anything farther than a 3 mile radius would not be ideal, but still possible as long as we communicate. Extended pet sitting requests (over one hour) are doable as long as there is wifi for me to work with. My ideal window for requests is to be made 24 hours in advance. When you book with me, you book with the promise that how I find your home will be how I leave your home. Pet boarding: I live in a townhouse with stairs, a fenced front yard, and a fenced balcony patio with plenty of room for your pet to roam. The neighborhood where I'm at is conducive for pet walking and the environment is quiet and peaceful. Depending on the request we can map out a cadence of pet updates, photos and videos, as well as other tasks (such as medications, play, feeding, etc). Boarding requests need to be made one week in advance, and cancellations made 48 hours in advance. When you book with me, you are making a booking with the promise that your pet will be cared for and safe, you will have daily updates, and your pet is going home with you.

I’ll stick to their regular schedule or adjust as needed. -Walks: I’ll take your dog on multiple walks each day. Your dog will have the opportunity to sniff flowers, explore plants, and enjoy the neighborhood in a safe environment. For safety, I err on the side of avoiding off-leash, and only enter public dog park when there is not other dogs. -Bedtime : Whether your dog prefers a cozy crate or enjoys free-roaming, I’ll ensure they settle comfortably for naps or bedtime according to their routine. -Medications or Special Needs: If your dog has any medications, allergies, or special care requirements, I’ll follow special instructions and take extra care of them. -Playtime and Snuggles: I’ll play with your dog with their favorite toys, tricks or activities, ensuring they stay happy throughout the day. Of course, there will also be plenty of snuggles to make them feel loved and cared for. I am currently work from home with a flexible schedule so I will be able to take care of your dog/cat at any time! I am available for drop-in visits, walks or day care for most of the weekdays, weekends and holidays. For Day Care : I live in a condo with my husband at Emeryville and there is a safe courtyard and a large dog park downstairs, where we can run, take sunbathing, play fetch and enjoy life together! While I had my special needs rabbit, I realized how hard it was to find an experienced bunny baby-sitter, especially one that was able to administer medications and care. Now that my little bun has passed away, I thought I could offer this much-needed service to other bunny parents out there. I work from home and between having been previously employed at House Rabbit Society Headquarters, and also at an animal hospital for just over 7 years, I have had both actual training and years of experience to bring to the table...well over 20 years! You can trust that I will care for your little one as if they were my own. I have experience with special needs (medications, injections, fluid therapy, food prep, etc.), as well as a valuable understanding of bunny, cat, and dog behaviors and body language. I treat animals like family members and your fur-baby will be no different! I very much look forward to meeting you and your furry loved one! :) I work from home, so I generally have a fairly flexible schedule and am present quite a bit, making it easier to maintain your baby's schedule and care routines and give lots of attention. I offer Bunny Boarding in my home for a single or bonded pair (or trio depending on their space needs). They stay in my office in my condo, which means I will be around them a lot throughout the day, and away from hub-bub of other animals (like you might expect at other boarding locations) so it's easy to keep things quite and low-stress. For drop-in visits for cats/dogs/bunnies, I tend to spend a moment with treats and greetings before going into play or for walks, showing them I am trust worthy. If they enjoy it, I love giving brushies, and using their favorite toys to play. Always happy to do a little focus work for treats, so if you want me to reinforce any training commands, I would be happy to. Cuddles and petties are an essential and core part of the menu (and personally my favorite part), but I always read body language and energy cues as to how much affection they are interested in at the moment.
