About: I absolutely love all animals! Growing up, my family always had a minimum of two dogs at a time. Since I was young, I have been trusted by friends and family members to watch over not only their pets, but their plants as well. As an adult living alone with a demanding work schedule, I have only ever had 1 cat at a time in my home however my plant game has grown to a bit of a jungle! On top of taking care of animals, I also LOVE a clean house and I take it upon myself to always leave people’s homes cleaner than I found them in! I’m currently looking to open my own business doing just that: Pet sitting and deep cleaning while folks are out of town. In my opinion, there is nothing better than coming home from a vacation or a work trip to a clean home and a happy animal! I have been working with Meowtel watching cats for the last year and have found it to be exceptionally rewarding. Recently, my sweet cat passed away and I left my demanding job. Due to these circumstances I have decided that since I have the time and opportunity, opening my home to board would be a great way to expand my offerings. I look forward to meeting this community and giving dog (cat, plant, etc.) owners peace of mind while they travel, get stuck working a double, or just want to support their companion with an extra afternoon walk. I left my extremely demanding job in December after my cat got sick. I wanted to spend as much time with him as possible. Since his passing, I have focused on taking care of pets and cleaning homes. This has brought me more joy than any demanding corporate job, and I hope I can continue to work in this capacity for many years in the future. My schedule is very flexible! I am an animal lover living in an animal free home at this moment. Because of this, I am open to boarding in my home. I am not concerned with animals who want to sit on the couch with me or lay on the bed, but I will follow the rules of what they’re allowed to do at home if you prefer that. My home will be their home, and I will do everything to make sure that they feel safe and cared for while in my hands. I’m an active person and love taking long walk and hikes. So, if that’s something that your dog is into, I am happy to schedule an adventure that meets their mileage needs! On the contrary, if you have a small dog or one who just wants to go out for a stroll around the block or to do their business in the grass, I’m happy to do that too! I have a small unfenced side yard to accommodate. I live on the second floor, no elevator, so if your pup is not able to do stairs and too heavy to pick up, my home wouldn’t be a good fit.

At a baseline, I ensure all the important needs and details are managed as if you were around, with as-frequent updates as you need to feel comfortable and connected while you are away. I'm a skilled communicator and multitasker (taking pics while walking multiple dogs) and happy to provide whatever silly/cute/direct updates of your pet(s)' care work for you.

About: I've been taking care of kitties for my entire life, and more recently, dogs! So far, I've worked with hyper dogs, an anxious dog, and a sick dog, so I'm comfortable with a variety of energies. It's always such a pleasure to be around pets, and I look forward to meeting your fur babies! I currently have a pretty open schedule besides some remote work I do twice a week. The days I have set for my availability are pretty consistently open, and other days, I can be flexible if you reach out in advance In a new space, I allow them to find a space they feel comfortable in and hang out with them for as long as they need to get adjusted. In a client’s home, I’d clarify everything with the client to make sure I’m attending to the pet’s needs appropriately

About: I have been a pet/ house sitter for the last 12 plus years. I have looked after animals ranging from dogs and cats of all different breeds, anges, and sizes! I am also familiar with pets who have ailments such as diabetes, and vision, and hearing loss. I have a four day work week and my work day schedule can vary. I am never away from the home for more than 8 hours at a time on my scheduled work days, however, I do live close to where I work and have the flexibility to pop over and take care of potty breaks. I always make time for walks, feedings, and attention throughout the day:) I prioritize creating trust and a safe environment for the animals I look after. Making sure that your pets receive their desired attention is important to me. Keeping to their scheduled feedings, potty breaks, and walk times is something else that I like to make a priority to help ensure they are as comfortable as possible while you’re away!
