About: I absolutely love all animals! Growing up, my family always had a minimum of two dogs at a time. Since I was young, I have been trusted by friends and family members to watch over not only their pets, but their plants as well. As an adult living alone, I have only ever had 1 cat at a time in my home, however, my plant game has grown to a bit of a jungle! On top of taking care of animals, I also LOVE a clean house and I take it upon myself to always leave people’s homes cleaner than I found them in! I’m currently looking to open my own business doing just that: Pet sitting and deep cleaning while folks are out of town. In my opinion, there is nothing better than coming home from a vacation or a work trip to a clean home and a happy animal! I have been working with Meowtel watching cats for the last year and have found it to be exceptionally rewarding. Recently, my sweet cat passed away and I left my demanding job. Due to these circumstances I have decided that since I have the time and opportunity, opening my home to board would be a great way to expand my offerings. I look forward to meeting this community and giving dog (cat, plant, etc.) owners peace of mind while they travel, get stuck working a double, or just want to support their companion with an extra afternoon walk. I left my extremely demanding job in December after my cat got sick. I wanted to spend as much time with him as possible. Since his passing, I have focused on taking care of pets and cleaning homes. This has brought me more joy than any demanding corporate job, and I hope I can continue to work in this capacity for many years in the future. My schedule is very flexible! I am an animal lover living in an animal free home at this moment. Because of this, I am open to boarding. I am not concerned with animals who want to sit on the couch with me or lay on the bed, but I will follow the rules of what they’re allowed to do at home if you prefer that. My home will be their home, and I will do everything to make sure that they feel safe and cared for while in my hands. I’m an active person and love taking long walks and hikes. So, if that’s something that your dog is into, I am happy to schedule an adventure that meets their mileage needs! On the contrary, if you have a small dog or one who just wants to go out for a stroll around the block or to do their business in the grass, I’m happy to do that too! I have a small unfenced side yard to accommodate. I live on the second floor of an apartment building with no elevator, so if your pup is not able to do stairs and is too heavy to pick up, my home wouldn’t be a good fit.

About: I grew up in a family that rescued and fostered over 50 animals, which instilled a deep passion for and comfortableness with animal care. In the past 10 years , I have provided short term and long term care for cats ranging in age from 8 weeks to senior. This has included giving oral medication, pills, and post-surgery care. I’m fortunate to also have a strong network of folks with pet care and veterinary expertise who are knowledgeable advisers when I need it. In all situations, I lead with compassion for the animal first :) My work schedule is flexible and largely work-from-home with no location requirement, meaning I am easily able to housesit with a pet on most days. I have my own car so can travel as needed as well. Unfortunately I am unable to provide overnight stays for a pet in my home. However, I am happy to housesit, and can also provide plant care if needed! How I care for your pet in your home is up to your preferences, but when I am able I always try to be home with the pet throughout the day providing play and attention as needed :)

About: I've grown up with big dogs and am now a dog and cat mom. Before my dog I boarded friends' dogs with me, watching them while they were away. My big dog is from the shelter and is fearful, so I have experience with shy shelter dogs, training, and managing their triggers. I also walk others' dogs. My schedule is flexible and is different depending on the day of the week. Communication is key , but I will try to make things work. At clients' homes I will follow their instructions and communicate any questions. I make sure the doors are locked when I leave, and try to be careful entering so animals don't potentially run away. I live on the second floor of an apartment building with no elevator, so if your pup is not able to do stairs and is too heavy to pick up, my home wouldn’t be a good fit.

Robert's level of conscientiousness is unmatched and we completely entrust him with Phoebe's health and safety, including keeping her away from other dogs so her reactiveness isn't triggered. I needed a last min booking and Stephanie truly went above and beyond to help accommodate and give my dog a great time. She exposed my pup to some new activities, like bike riding, which he loved!! It was also my pups birthday when she took care of him and she even gave him a little homemade peanut butter lick mat to celebrate. You won’t regret booking with Stephanie if you’re looking for someone to treat your pup like her own! :)”

“Alex kept my golden retriever for a week and left me feeling GREAT about the boarding. From the daily pix & videos, it seemed that Alex integrated Mika into her family life completely, even having her at their backyard easter egg hunt! Mika got lots of play time & tons of petting, played with her daughters at the playground across the street, and did her napping right under Alex's feet when she was working. “Baxter had a great first stay with Kristen and Ryan! He took advantage of various comfy lounging spots in their home as well as sunbathing in their backyard. Baxter was in great shape when I returned. Kristin and Ryan are very friendly and kind, and their communications were clear throughout. I received updates with pictures at least once a day, as requested. I greatly appreciated their flexibility to extend Baxter's stay a bit and coordinate a different pickup arrangement when my trip plans changed. I would certainly book with them again!”
