“Bryce took perfect care of Yoshi, I couldn’t be more satisfied. We first did a meeting date with nebula (his dog) and they seemed to do well together so I booked him. Bryce’s communication was great and I felt that Yoshi was in really good hands the whole time. Yoshi is still recovering from an injury and has to take medication and supplements and Bryce was very patient, caring, and attentive to my baby girl. A dog with an injury can be a complex thing but Bryce really gave me the reassurance I needed to enjoy my vacation. Bryce sent updates the whole time and I can tell he puts a lot of thought and care into our animals. It was a perfect sitter experience for me. My flight coming back home from my 10 day trip was delayed a bit and Bryce was incredibly flexible with the mishap. She stopped by every day without fail and sent us update pictures showing Sparky was happy and eating. About: I have been caring for dogs and cats since childhood and deeply love connecting with animals. I supported my last dog through her later years and have sensitivity to the needs of elder puppies. I also enjoy the energy of younger dogs and live right near San Pablo park for dogs who like to socialize. I mostly work from home with occasional in person meetings during the week. I am available for pet care throughout the week and can let dogs out to the back yard throughout the day. I live in a quiet but lively neighborhood with lots of great areas to walk and sniff. The back yard is fenced in and allows space to lounge in the sun. There are no other pets or humans currently in the house so it is very peaceful and quiet most of the time. I don't take dogs from more than one household at a time. I check in on the pets I care for regularly and track their emotional as well as physical needs, giving pets and butt scratches often!

About: I offer a quieter, more individualized kind of dog sitting. I only take dogs from one household at a time, so your dog won’t be sharing the space with a rotating group of other dogs. That allows me to give them a lot of individual attention and to keep their routine as familiar as possible. I’m a licensed acupuncturist and a therapist in training, so being reliable and observant is a big part of my professional life. I’m also very conscientious about following your instructions closely. I know how much the little details matter, and I make a point of keeping track of feeding schedules, medications, walks, sleeping arrangements, and the routines that help your dog feel at home. I have firsthand experience caring for an anxious dog who later developed dementia and physical limitations. Because of that, I’m especially comfortable with senior dogs and dogs who are sensitive or easily overwhelmed. I understand how much patience and consistency can matter when a dog needs extra support. I’m especially available on weekends, when I can spend plenty of time with your dog rather than fitting visits around a packed schedule. Depending on their personality and energy level, we might have a quiet day at home, take neighborhood walks, or head out to places like Piedmont Park, the Albany Bulb, or the beach. I want your dog to feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away, and I want you to feel completely confident that someone is really paying attention to them. Pet care fits best into my schedule on weekends, when I have plenty of time to give dogs attention, walks, companionship, and a relaxed home environment. I’m generally available from Friday evening through Sunday and can often accommodate weekend boarding or daytime care. During the week I work a regular professional schedule, so I’m intentional about only accepting bookings when I know I can provide the time and attention a pet needs. When a dog is staying with me, I want them to be part of my routine rather than squeezed into it. I take safety and trust seriously and make a point of following each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. In my home, I provide a calm, comfortable environment and make sure dogs have appropriate supervision, regular walks and potty breaks, fresh water, and plenty of attention. I’m careful about feeding instructions, medications, leash safety, and any behavioral or health concerns you share with me. I also like to know about a dog’s personality, triggers, routines, and preferences ahead of time so I can help them feel comfortable and settled. If I’m caring for a pet in your home, I’m respectful of your space and follow your instructions closely. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away.

I have experience with excitable breeds like a neighbor's golden doodle to my family's mellowed-out portugese water doggies, along with senior care. I see animal care as a privilege. I have been told on multiple occasions that I am able to calm animals unusually quickly, and I feel that I am attuned to the emotions of animals I care for. Normally, I would do a morning and afternoon walk, with potty breaks peppered whenever they need. I can also step away from my work at a moment's notice if anything arises, from entertaining a bored doggie to foiling attempted counter surfing! I have a paved yard for sunbathing and potty breaks, the door to which I work right next to. I live near Lake Merritt, the Morcom Rose Garden, and a dog park, so I can provide walks of all lengths. My home is very cozy and has multiple spaces where an animal can detox from any overstimulation. I can provide a dog crate, scheduled meals, supervision, and play.

About: I have had plenty of dogs and cats in my home since I was young. My husband and I are HUGE animal LOVERS!!!! we are away for college and are MISSING our animals back at home. My husband is a pre vet student with plenty of veterinarian shadowing hours, all animals are welcome. We can’t wait to meet you and your 4 legged friends!!!!! I am currently on the cal gymnastics team on weekdays until 12 and my husband works part time 2x a week, then is home doing online school the rest of the week. We are open and available on weekends and plenty of time in the afternoon and evenings during the week to play and love on your animals!! We currently live in an apartment on the 1st floor with a fenced in balcony. All animals are welcome inside our home and are welcome on all surfaces. There is also a park near by where we often visit. We can accommodate any needs or wants you might have for your furry friends!!!!

She took such good care of Coquita, and to my surprise, my dog even got along with her dog, which is something that never happens because Coquita usually isn’t friendly with other dogs. She kept me updated throughout the stay with pictures and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. I would definitely book with her again. She made a stressful, last‑minute situation feel easy and reassuring, and I felt completely comfortable leaving Coquita in her care.”
