Dennis provided frequent and through updates in the cats and how they were doing with their illnesses. We really had piece of mind that Dennis was taking care of our cats while we were away. Dennis was also very flexible. We asked him to make an extra visit since we were returning a lot later than expected he and he stopped by and fed the cats and didn’t even charge us for it. Dennis was also very respectful of our house and brought in mail, packages, and even took out the trash! I would recommend Dennis in a heartbeat if you need someone to take care of your cats.”

About: I’ve been raising a very cute black pug for four years. For some reason, I couldn’t bring him with me and I miss him a lot. I really love dogs, so I’d love to do some dog-related work in my free time. I’m happy to let dogs on the sofa or bed, since I always clean them up after walks to make sure both they and the environment stay clean. I’ve spent time with many different dogs, including some that were initially unfriendly. By offering treats, approaching them slowly, and taking the time to get to know them, I was able to build trust. I’m very patient with dogs! From Monday to Friday, I’m usually out for 2–4 hours a day, but I’m home all day on weekends. During my free time, I’m happy to take dogs out to play. 1. Diet: I carefully control meal portions and feeding times, and always make sure dogs stay hydrated—especially in hot weather. After walks, I wait 5–10 minutes before giving them water. 2. Hygiene: I clean eye discharge promptly and keep both the dogs and their environment clean. 3. Exercise: I walk dogs 2–3 times a day. 30min/walk. 4. Playtime: In my free time, I love playing fetch, tug-of-war, or hide-and-seek with them. 5. Companionship: I spend as much time with them as possible. 6. Safety on walks: Dogs are always leashed outside. I stay alert when they interact with other dogs and separate them immediately if there are signs of aggression. I also make sure they don’t eat things off the ground, and I always clean up after them. 7. Sleeping: I used to sleep with my own dog, so if your dog is used to that, they’re welcome to join me too.
About: I've been taking care of kitties for my entire life, and more recently, dogs! So far, I've worked with hyper dogs, an anxious dog, and a sick dog, so I'm comfortable with a variety of energies. It's always such a pleasure to be around pets, and I look forward to meeting your fur babies! I currently have a pretty open schedule besides some remote work I do twice a week. The days I have set for my availability are pretty consistently open, and other days, I can be flexible if you reach out in advance In a new space, I allow them to find a space they feel comfortable in and hang out with them for as long as they need to get adjusted. In a client’s home, I’d clarify everything with the client to make sure I’m attending to the pet’s needs appropriately

Single family home, small enclosed yard, great neighborhood. Work 3miles min home M-F 8-4, home weekends. Friday late afternoon drop off/late Sunday pickup. Walks, hikes, trips to Berkeley Marina, feeding, play, medications and lots of cuddling. Enclosed yard, single story single family home, no kids, non-smoking house, furniture and carpets all dog friendly, nice residential area in Berkeley. Access to outdoors all day.

She can get overexcited, and Alexandra had no problem following all the care instructions. She noticed my dog's comfort or discomfort and ensured she got what she needed. When I picked up my pup, she was quite content and even gave Alexandra a little lick goodbye, which told me even more about the care Alexandra and her family gave my little one. “Tim is fantastic. He messages regularly and sends updates throughout the day and a ton of photos. I appreciate that he over communicates like “Alfalfa pooped twice today”. And he’s diligent about keeping Alfalfa clean which as a doodle mom is very important since he can get easily matted or even have random things stuck in his paws. His dog Coco is super sweet and gentle. I think Alfalfa had more energy than her but she’s an older dog and was very patient. I would highly recommend anyone to use Tim. And we plan on using him more often!”
