About: Hi! I’m Ning, an experienced dog owner and lifelong animal lover based in Berkeley. I currently have a sweet, friendly 1-year-old Australian Shepherd and have raised both a Samoyed and an Aussie from puppyhood. Through daily training, socialization, exercise, grooming, and routine care, I’ve gained extensive hands-on experience with energetic working breeds and understand the importance of both physical activity and mental enrichment. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and structured environment where dogs can feel relaxed and at home while their owners are away. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality, energy level, eating habits, and emotional well-being, and I tailor my care to their individual needs. Your dog will stay in a clean and spacious pet-friendly apartment with access to a secure fenced courtyard. We are also only a 5-minute walk from a large open green space, allowing for regular walks, outdoor time, and supervised play. For social dogs, my friendly Aussie can be a wonderful companion during their stay. I work hard to make every boarding experience stress-free and enjoyable. Dogs receive plenty of attention, exercise, enrichment, and companionship throughout the day, and I do not leave pets alone for extended periods whenever possible. I also provide regular photo and video updates so you can stay connected and have peace of mind while you’re away. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else. I treat every dog as if they were my own and strive to provide not just boarding, but a safe and caring second home where they can feel happy, comfortable, and loved. I work from home most days and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide frequent supervision, companionship, and exercise throughout the day. Pet care is already a central part of my daily routine, as I currently care for my own young Australian Shepherd, with my current walking schedule: four times a day (~6 hours interval). Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a clean, spacious, pet-friendly apartment with a secure fenced courtyard and easy access to a large green space just a 5-minute walk away. I currently have a friendly, well-socialized 1-year-old Australian Shepherd who enjoys meeting other dogs. I carefully monitor all interactions, follow owners’ instructions closely, and maintain a calm, structured environment. I have experience raising both a Samoyed and an Australian Shepherd from puppyhood, so I understand the importance of supervision, routine, exercise, and positive reinforcement.
