“Chad was great with our pups. It's such a relief to find a good sitter and Chad is one of those people! He has a great place with a big backyard and nice house for the dogs to romp around in. He was very communicative both during our meet and greet as well as during their first stay with him. One of our dogs is a bit skittish with people but warmed right up to Chad, which is a testament to him and his ability to make her feel at ease. We already have another date on the calendar with him. Highly recommended.”
“Astrid and her family took such good care of my puppy! My puppy was very comfortable and happy staying with her and her family. She is knowledgeable, kind, and sent updates throughout his stay. Highly recommended her! Will be booking with her again. Thanks, Astrid!”

“Daniel loves staying over at Lee’s place! There are always other nice pups to play with, and he still gets plenty of individual attention and cuddle time 💕”

“Megan and Jenny were amazing! They watched our dog, Beni, while we were out of the country for over two weeks for vacation and sent us daily, adorable, photo updates of him relaxing and playing with the other dogs that overlapped with his stay. He came back happy and healthy and seemed to have the best time. We were joking that he got to go on a vacation too! Will definitely book them to watch Beni again.”

“Kim and her partner were amazing dog sitters! They sent timely, proactive updates and made sure my pup was well acclimated with their dogs. Would definitely recommend!”

About: I totally love cats and dogs and enjoy looking after them. I currently have an empty nest after losing my cat to old age, who was with me from 6 months old to 19 years old. I have lived with and taken care of cats most of my life, have cared for family and friend's dogs and cats including kittens, elderly, and disabled cats. In addition to tending to their basic needs like keeping water fresh, feeding as instructed and keeping their area clean, I enjoy brushing and playing with them and taking dogs for walks. I'm a substitute elementary school teacher and semi-retired small tree garden arborist. I take pride in taking good care of trees, kids and pets and find joy in making what could potentially be the worst days for them turn into a positive experience. My boarding room is dedicated just for your pet/s. They will also have full access to the rest of the pet friendly one story two bedroom house, as their behavior permits. Otherwise, only when I'm home. I host with only one client at a time to provide a stress free environment. East facing corner windows let in morning light and are shaded in the afternoon. An elevated platform with pet bed overlooks a garden with small trees that wrap around the windows. Other cushioned lounging areas are in nooks and others out in the open. Sheets get replaced regularly and bedding cushions get washed between bookings. Area rugs cover the floor for comfort and soft landings. Two litter boxes are in the closet, one enclosed and one standard, which get scooped twice a day. There is a scratching post, toys and a tunnel.
“Sharon was wonderful. She was very understanding of my dogs separation anxiety and really went out of her way to make sure he was able to settle. Sent lots of photos and updates!”

“I entrusted Jhoanna with my senior dog for a long trip out of the country. Based on how well she's taken care of him many times before, I was able to take my vacation and not worry about him being well cared for. Thank you, Jhoanna!”

“Erika is a kind, wonderful, and generous host to our little puppy. As a nervous, new pup parent, I asked to meet her in person to ask her a bunch of questions. Not only did she ease my anxieties with her great answers and knowledge, I felt listened to and I learned a lot from her. Little Granny Pea is also a sweet assistant and I’m grateful to have her teach Champi a few things and to socialize with him. Erika sent photos and updates too- she’s very communicative. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Champi was so happy and am so glad we get to work with them again soon. I highly recommend Erika and the Pea. Truly the best!”

“Kathryn, Christopher, and their family were so kind and accommodating to my dog, Riley over the holiday. I received pictures and updates on how he was settling in. I would absolutely go to them for pet care and boarding again, and would recommend them with no hesitation. Thanks for caring for my sweet old guy!”

“Melinda was absolutely amazing. When I dropped off my fur baby to her I knew he would be in good hands. She made sure to send me pictures to ease my anxiety I would definitely recommend her”

“They are friendly and flexible with our schedule. They took good care of our super energetic dog, making him comfortable and happy. Definitely will come back again.”

“Juliana and Katherine are amazing. Their detailed, regular communication- and plenty of great pet photos- put us at ease with them immediately. Our pups were so excited to return for visits #2 and 3! They take the time to understand each dog’s personality, which makes for happy pups and happy parents! They’re total dog whisperers!”

“2nd time using Suzanne. We left Georgie for 14 days. We received updates daily. Georgie always has a good time at Suzanne’s. We missed him but felt comfortable knowing he was in great hands.”
“Megan is the absolute best petsitter! Pippa stayed at her house for a week, and I could tell she was in great hands the whole time. Megan, as usual, kept me updated with cute photos and little check-ins, which really put me at ease. Pippa came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for one more time. Will definitely be booking with Megan again and again!”

“Kristen and Ryan took excellent care of Coda. She was nervous about being left, and they were attentive to Coda and in good communication with us. Thank you both!”

“Our Miss Lexie had a wonderful stay. Chawntea treated our baby girl like family. She made new furry friends, which helps her socialization skills. Chawntea was so flexible with our ever-changing travel plans. Shout out to Southwest. She sent updates and pics while we were away, which brought smiles to our faces. Without a doubt, we will be using her services in the future.”

“Meagan was super sweet and caring of my husky Luna. She took plenty of pictures and videos of Luna throughout the sitting, and Luna got along well with her dogs. I was very appreciative, as was Luna. :)”

“Michael took great care of our dog for a couple of nights! He sent lots of updates and photos so we felt comfortable that our dog was in good hands. At the time, our dog needed special medical care and Michael did a great job handling that. He also took our dog on walks which we appreciate! We would definitely book with him again.”

Caballo Hills dog parents share their Rover experiences
Kit and Jason really came through when we had to travel suddenly. They were accommodating as we had to adjust drop off times. They have two lovely smaller dogs that made it a like a playdate for our golden doodle. Their home is set up well for doggies to lounge around and wooded trails nearby offer exercise. Jason was on top of feeding schedules and sharing photos. Kit kept excellent communications so we knew our dog was in good hands.

Kathryn, Christopher, and their family were so kind and accommodating to my dog, Riley over the holiday. I received pictures and updates on how he was settling in. I would absolutely go to them for pet care and boarding again, and would recommend them with no hesitation. Thanks for caring for my sweet old guy!

Couldnt ask for a better sitter and place for Tucci to be with. Megan and Teressa were like family to him and took amazing care of Tucci (our 3.5 mo bernedoodle). We got daily updates and photos/videos of our pup in their home. Our pup I’m sure would love to be with Megan again. We are surely going to depend on Megan for tucci’s dog sitter from here on every time we are out of town. She was amazing. Thanks Megan.
I’ve had a lot of good dog sitters and Lily might be the best yet! Definitely would highly recommend and we will be returning. She walked my dog multiple times, played and cuddles with her, and sent me lots of updates and pictures. My dog normally won’t eat in unfamiliar situations, but with Lily she ate a full meal on the first day. She was very excited to return the following day. Lily was also very accommodating to me. Fantastic value overall.

To say that Gina provided such a wonderful Rover experience from start to finish would be an understatement. She was thoughtful in her approach of meeting my pup, took great care of integrating my dog into her home, and sent daily updates with photos and videos. It was such a relief knowing my dog was in such great hands during an extended time away and I couldn't be more grateful to Gina for her excellent care!

Lindsey and her dog Juniper showed our girl Tiger a great time and gave me and my wife so much peace of mind while away. We got tons of great photos of Tiger having so much fun and looking so happy or resting peacefully. Lindsey was super accommodating and communicative with our travel plans. We hope to see her again on the trails or at the park for a play date.

Renee and Thomas are outstanding!! Such kind, communicative and wonderful people. They helped us out big time when we were in a pinch and cared for our guy Jig like he was one of their own. He got plenty of exercise and came home very tired - which we love! We will absolutely be using them again in the future!

Nicola, Michael, and family did a wonderful job caring for Clio, our small dog, during a 10-day stay. They were great communicators and provided daily photos and updates. Most importantly, Clio was happy and healthy when we picked her up. She clearly enjoyed staying with her new best friends! We’d happily have Clio stay with them again.

First time using Matthew and Pei and having nothing but great things to say. Coco is a little nervous around new people but Matt's careful approach enabled her to quickly settle. Coco loves the company of other dogs so it felt like such a great environment for her with great outdoor space. Lots of photo's and updates throughout the stay and also very flexible when we had to extend the stay an additional day. Coco will definitely be excited to go back to Matt and Pei's!

Emerson is a great sitter. Excellent communication from setting up an initial meet and greet and throughout the stay. He was always very professional in the booking process as well as asking questions about my dog’s routine for his overnight stay. Emerson’s place is extremely dog-friendly and setup to have more than one dog as he has his own very sweet dog. Our dogs got along which was testing during the meet and greet but he had options if they didn’t. My dog enjoyed the long walk and loving care of Emerson’s home. He sent updates and lots of photos. Will definitely book again!

Suzanne took care of Noamie, our elder Cavalier King Charles, with care, intention, and deep attention to detail. Noamie was very well taken care of, and he enjoyed the wide open garden space, the bird songs, and the freedom to just, well, be. We are beyond satisfied with the care he received from Suzanne, who was very responsive, very knowledgeable, and very well resourced!
