Professional & Inclusive Pet Care

Pet Care Experience As an LGBTQ+ small business owner, I’m committed to providing a welcoming, safe, and affirming environment for pets and their families. I have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs with different temperaments, energy levels, and needs. My focus is on structured group care, close supervision, and a calm, enriching environment—not overcrowding or chaos. Care Style & Group Size Care in my home is not a 1:1 sit. I host a small group of up to three vetted, well-socialized dogs at a time. This allows for companionship, engagement, and safety while still providing individualized attention. Dogs must be comfortable in a shared setting and responsive to basic social cues. A Typical Day Mornings begin with a visit to South Prescott Park, a well-secured, fully fenced, grassy urban oasis known for its quarter mile of grass and walking path. This space allows dogs to run, play, and socialize in a highly supervised and interactive setting. After our morning park time, dogs receive walks and potty breaks every 3–4 hours throughout the day. Late afternoons may include visits to other parks depending on group dynamics and energy levels, including: Ohlone Alameda Dog Park Doyle Hollis Main Street Joaquin Miller Enrichment & Home Environment I maintain a large collection of dog toys and cognitive enrichment games to support mental stimulation—not just physical exercise. The home environment is intentionally calm and relaxing, featuring: Dog TV White noise machines Music Dog cams for monitoring and safety This setup works especially well for dogs who thrive with structure, companionship, and a steady routine. Why Choose Me? Intentional, Small-Group Care: A max of three dogs ensures safety, supervision, and balance LGBTQ+ Affirming: Proudly inclusive and respectful of all families Experience & Reliability: Comfortable administering medications, accommodating special needs, and maintaining consistent routines Transparent, Fair Rates: Quality care without inflated pricing Communication: Regular updates and photos so you stay connected Let’s Connect Your dog’s comfort, safety, and emotional well-being are my top priorities. Reach out to schedule a meet-and-greet or discuss whether your pup would be a good fit for my care style. Structured, calm, and thoughtful care—served with pride, professionalism, and a whole lot of heart. 🏳️‍🌈🐾

Rob was AMAZING. He took on Pearl for a 5 day board and she is not an easy dog - she has a few medical things, difficulty with potty training due to her health conditions, and requires a couple different meds. Rob handled everything. He’s a great sitter for dogs who love a pack - Pearl had SO much fun hanging out with the other dogs. He’s also super active which is helpful - multiple dog park visits and walks, and lots of pictures! We will absolutely be booking with rob again in the future, he’s an amazing sitter!

Rob took good care of my huge pup! He was flexible with me when my pick up time changed and accommodated Figgy’s refusal to get in the car (after two long days of driving he just wouldn’t do it!), and did walks instead of the dog park. If you’re like me and appreciate daily updates, just make sure to let him know. It is great to have someone I can trust to take care of my sensitive rescue Dane, and I could tell he was nice and tired after several days of socializing with the other dogs.

Kind. Took our dog to free roam dog parks which is really nice. Also took some great pictures.

My 2-year old Welsh Terrier had a great time staying with Rob. They took many trips to the dog park and Rob sent several photos of a happy Leo, playing his heart out. Rob was very communicative and flexible about scheduling — I had a very early flight out for a work trip, and Rob was super flexible and accommodated a very early drop off. Leo will be back with Rob again next week when I have another work trip — so grateful to have found a reliable sitter nearby. Thanks for taking good care of my little guy!

A typical day

Understanding the importance of maintaining routines, I tend to stick to your pets' feeding, walking, and playtime schedules to ensure they feel comfortable and happy. Whether it's a game of fetch in the fenced yard, a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood, or a cozy cuddle session on the couch, I prioritize one-on-one attention with each pet. Every interaction is filled with love, care, and plenty of belly rubs! Understanding how important it is to stay connected with your pets, I provide regular updates and photos throughout the day. Whether it's a text message, email, or video call, you can rest assured knowing that your pets are safe and happy. As the day comes to a close, I ensure that your pet is comfortable and ready for bed.
