About: I’ve worked professionally with dogs since 2013 as a canine behavior consultant and dog trainer, and pet care is my full-time work. I provide boarding, training, and behavior consultations from my 1200 square foot, open floor plan, work/live Storehouse Lofts location, situated in Alameda Point. Because I work from home, dogs in my care aren’t left alone for a full workday, and I board only a limited number of dogs so each guest can settle in at their own pace in a calm, comfortable environment. I am PetTech certified in CPR and First Aid for pets. Every stay begins with a Meet & Greet to make sure it’s a good fit, and I provide regular photo updates so you can feel confident your dog is safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Dog care is my full-time profession, so your dog will spend the day with me rather than being left alone while I'm at another job. The longest I typically leave home is about two hours. The rest of the day is spent providing potty breaks, walks, play, enrichment, rest, and plenty of individual attention while keeping each dog's normal routine as consistent as possible. Boarding Hours & Pick-Up Policy: Boarding drop-offs and pick-ups are available between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM. Pick-ups after 1:00 PM on the final day are billed at my standard daycare rate, regardless of the original drop-off time. I do not schedule pick-ups or drop-offs after 8:00 PM. If travel delays make an after 8:00 PM pickup unavoidable, your dog's stay will be extended until the following day, subject to availability. Your dog's safety and comfort are my highest priorities. My 1,200 square foot work/live loft is located in Storehouse Lofts, one of the Bay Area’s most dog-friendly work/live communities. The building features a private resident dog park just steps from my door as well as a complete, professionally outfitted dog bathing room (replete with with grooming tub and high velocity dryer). The building is newly renovated, and has an interesting history: it was formerly the general supply warehouse for the US Navy. It is located within Alameda Point, the name given to the massive redevelopment of the former Alameda Naval Air Station. The Alameda Point redevelopment project has turned this huge former military base into miles of safe and quiet walkable areas, waterfront parks and recreation spaces along with warehouses (like my building) and hanger spaces converted into a mix of small businesses, artisan workspaces, startups, sports facilities, bakeries, breweries, and more. For dogs who enjoy more high-energy social time and room to run, the huge Main Street Dog Park (with scenic City and Port of Oakland views) is also within walking distance. My loft space is secure, has heat and A/C, and I run a HEPA air purifier continuously. The loft has 14 foot ceilings, and there are huge original warehouse style windows that let the sun shine in, and open for fresh air. It is a quiet, relaxing, and calm space. Every boarding stay begins with a meet & greet to make sure we're a good fit and to help your dog settle in comfortably.

Alison was really nice, and my dog was drawn to her right away at our meet and greet. She was really understanding with me as a first time app user, and made me feel safe about leaving my dog with a stranger for the first time. She handled my dogs separation anxiety really well and sent me updates so I wouldn't worry. I would definitely book again.

About: Looking for a personal oasis for your pet? 💛 —- Look no further in having a responsible animal lover dote on your pet. —- ** Only Taking Pet Sitting Requests 1-2 weeks in Advance Notice ** —- **with Pet and Owner Profiles Fully Filled Out* + **an Initial Phone or Video Call, then Meet and Greet in Person** - Thank you! — I grew up around two chihuahas, a german shepard, and two friendly pomeranians at my aunt and uncle’s house. Playing, giving them treats, and making sure they stayed within neighborhood bounds were a regular for my brother and me. I’ve also had the honor to house sit for a variety of dogs and cats. I’ve cared for the needs of senior cats to playful pups to independent rescues, to mischievous kittens. With this experience, I am happy to care for and get to know more of your beloved furred ones! … It is also a special interest of mine to do training for dogs. I believe in using Positive Reinforcement and loving gentleness when it comes time to handling animals. I’m currently working towards getting my CBATI-KA through Grisha Stewart’s Academy and becoming Fear Free certified. I love continually learning through different trainers and educators under the CCPDT’s guidelines of LIMA (Least Intrusive Minimal Aversive). —- I also was certified with Pet CPR Aid with ProHero Training. —- Let’s book a Meet & Greet! Scheduling: I work as a FT freelancer, so please respond in a timely manner and communicate as much in advance, so I can best fit you and your pet into my schedule/space! — Some things I’d like to know from you: When is your best availability for an initial Meet & Greet? What is the size, breed, and temperament of your animal(s)? Are you ok with me posting pics of your pets? — Thank you! + Please note I will always value you and your fur babies’ comfortability first. … Your pet(s) and their personalities are the Star of the show! — Please let me know about your pet’s personal likes/dislikes, favorite toys, treats, any allergies, and/or particular preferences for comfort & joy. I also have experience administering medication, if needed and have experience (for both dogs and cats) with preparing supplements / added medicine to be mixed in with their meals. A personal side interest of mine is also doing training for dogs. So if your dog has any particular behaviors, you’d like to be worked on, let me know and we can work on tackling an issue together.

Baxter has stayed Andrea and her pups twice for daycare, with hopefully more days to come! Andrea has a gentle, kind spirit and seems very attuned to a dog's needs. At our meet & greet, she asked great questions about Baxter and his routines. She provided fun updates with pics a few times a day -- much appreciated!

About: Hey there! 🐾 My Wi-Fi name is "House of Dogues". That probably tells you everything you need to know about me. I've been around pups my whole life: walks, sits, feedings, bath time, you name it. Friends, family, neighbors have all trusted me with their fur babies, and I take that seriously. But also I make it really fun. Here's what makes me a little different: I follow the dog's lead. Some pups want a big adventure. Others want a slow sniff-everything kind of walk (honestly iconic). On our walks, they pick the route. I'm just happy to be invited. I also put together little enrichment activities because a stimulated dog is a happy dog, and yes, I talk to them like they understand everything I'm saying, because they do. I'm a big dog park person too, but I'm picky about it in the best way. I stick to parks where I already know the people and the dogs, so I know exactly what kind of environment your pup is walking into. No surprises, just good socialization with faces I trust. When your dog stays with me, they get a whole day tailored to their vibe: cozy, active, or somewhere in between. And you? You'll get so many photo and video updates you might actually forget you miss them. Might. At home I live with Totó, my shichihuahua who is fully convinced he runs this household (he does). He's taught me everything about big personality in a small body, and he's an excellent host. I have a special soft spot for senior dogs. I know how to give them the patience, gentleness, and extra love they deserve. My clients always say the same two things: they got way more updates than they expected, and they finally felt okay leaving their dog with someone. That's the whole goal. 🐶 I work remotely, which means I'm home most of the day and genuinely available, no scrambling, no rushing. Midday walk? Morning sit? Last-minute check-in? I can make it work. Pet care isn't something I squeeze into my routine, it basically IS my routine. Your dog will never feel like an afterthought. Safety is everything to me, and so is making sure your pet actually enjoys their time. In your home, I follow your instructions closely, keep things clean and consistent, and make sure your pup always has water, food, and lots of love. On walks, I stick to routes and parks I know well, with dogs and people I already trust. No random off-leash situations, no surprises. At my place, it's calm, cozy, and very much a dog household (my Wi-Fi is literally called "House of Dogs"). Totó, my shichihuahua, is a great host as long as you respect that he's in charge.

Thanks Sophie for taking good care of our dog Hobbes! We had Sophie watch Hobbes while we attended a concert in Berkeley. We had drinks at a spot in Oakland beforehand and her place was a quick stop on the way to the venue. Hobbes seemed to have a blast playing while there. She shared some photos which was a nice touch. We will gladly reach out again if we need pet sitting in the area.

Wow! That’s a busy walk. If there are distractions, I just give Molly the command to leave it and continue to walk. I expect her to behave with good leash manners. When she has the privilege to be off leash, it’s fair game to chase a squirrel or play with a dog if appropriate. Please do not worry about reporting back you gave her medication on time. I trust you:)

About: I’ve built a loyal client base since 2022 primarily through word of mouth and have many excellent references. I have experience caring for dogs with a wide range of personalities, needs, and routines, and I consider myself well-prepared to handle a variety of situations. I’m highly communicative, proactive, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. I always strive to go the extra mile for my clients, making sure both pets and their people feel heard, respected, and confident in their care. This work brings me a great deal of joy, and I genuinely love getting to know and care for each animal. I work remotely, which gives me the flexibility to provide pet care throughout the week and travel across the Bay Area for in-home sits. Pets are also welcome to stay with me at my Emeryville loft. I have an 8-year-old Chihuahua-Terrier mix who is friendly with most animals and mostly keeps to himself. I prioritize regular walks, play, enrichment, and plenty of affection throughout the day. When caring for dogs in their home, I aim for 2–3 walks daily on safe, familiar routes; there is also a dog park directly across from my loft if that’s a good fit for the dog. I follow each client’s care instructions closely, communicate proactively if questions come up, and keep clients updated with photos and messages so they can feel confident their pets are happy and well cared for.

She is very patient, has years of experience, and cared for our puppy as though she were her own. It is clear she has a special love and gift for animals. We are very grateful to meet you Abigail and we will be booking again in addition to referring you to our friends. Thank you!

Alisson took Lizzie for the for first time this evening on very short notice. Alisson is a very lovely, kind woman. I didn't go inside the house, and Lizzie was only there for a few hours, but Lizzie felt right at home and cuddled on Alisson's lap. Communication was super easy, and I pulled right up in front of the house, and Alisson came out to get her and brought her out when I came to pick her up. Super easy and smooth. I will definitely ask her again to take care of Lizzie.

I felt a little unsure of dropping my dog off to someone I didn't know but started to feel more comfortable the more I spoke with Hye. Then Rudy, my pup, and I met Hye in person and we both were put very much at ease. Hye and Rudy hit it off immediately and I was fine leaving him with her. Hye updated us with photos and really "loved" Rudy and my wife and I were able to relax and enjoy our evening. I would totally recommend Hye and her husband for the care of their family member.
