About: I’ve worked with many different dog breeds, ages, and personalities, and I love getting to know each pet’s unique needs and routines. I have experience with boarding, grooming, and giving medications on scheduled times, and I always make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. I love to take pictures throughout the visits to keep you updated on what your fur baby is up to. Based in Alameda County with an open and flexible schedule for dog sitting and pet care! I currently have a fully open and flexible schedule for walks, drop-ins, check-ins, dog sitting, and regular pet care. I’m also happy to set up a consistent schedule if you’re looking for ongoing care! I’m currently renting, so I’m unable to offer in-home boarding or house pets in my own space, but I’m happy to provide care in the comfort of your pet’s home.
About: I have work with dogs my entire life, but currently I run a small dog daycare/boarding facility at my home with my husband so our sole focus is caring for our pups and we will happily give your pup all our love and attention! I’m responsible, respectful and very organized which allows us to run a safe and stable home environment for each one of our dogs. I’m available daily for dog walks, daycare and/or boarding. My current small daycare group is about 3-5 regular dogs that come on different weekdays. I’m a firm believer in clear, calm communication with any dog that I am working with and I only use positive reinforcement. My yard and entire property is fully fenced with a 6ft wood privacy fence and there is an extra gate between the front and back yards for extra safety. I’m available pretty much anytime for dog walk or boarding and I currently run a small group dog daycare in my home with my partner between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday. My current group of regulars (that come varying weekdays) includes extremely well socialized dogs of all sizes most of which are between 3 and 6 years old. It’s a great environment for a dog to build social skills and confidence in a calm, well adjusted pack. I live in West Oakland (very close to the Bart station!) and my home and yard are very secure with a 6ft tall redwood fence surrounding the entire property. My yard is pretty large and great for off leash fun as it’s completely safe and secure. I live only with my husband and our two very friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who loves every dog they has ever met. Oliver even has a way of making dogs that are usually not dog friendly play as if they were a puppy - it seems to be his super power! While Opal is just a love who is always ready for fun in the yard or cuddles on the couch.

About: I’ve had my husky mix kuro for 10 years and just recently got my baby cat loki! I absolutely love my babies, my main objective is for you to feel safe, comfortable and worry free while you’re away from your baby! Taking care of a husky mix and cat is a bit of a handful and definitely requires a lot of care and attention daily, luckily my roommate and best friend is there with me to watch and care for my babies when im busy! I’d treat my clients home with respect as if it were my own! I would care for their babies like I would mine! I want my clients to feel safe and comfortable when their babies are in my care!
About: I’ve always enjoyed having furry companions. I look forward to providing care and love for your pet while you’re at work or out of town. I love caring for dogs as well as cats. I have a very flexible schedule and am able to attend to your pets at any time. Day or night, I am available and happy to help. Caring for a pet requires love, responsibility, and attention to their needs. I will ensure that your pet is taken care of as you would care for your pet while you’re away.
“Thank you, Nancy, for trying to walk Viggo. Even though he didn’t feel like walking and laid down on the sidewalk, Nancy did her best to get him moving. And she sent cute pics of his protest;)”

About: I have a 9 year old fur-baby. I've grown up around lot's of dogs; pedigrees, mutts, goof balls and guard dogs. I've experienced them all. My mom currently has 5 dogs! Dogs are treated like family members in my household. Your dog will be loved, pampered, and have company while you are away. For those dogs staying over, my dog Tumbleweed is super friendly and an old sould who will sit quietly and shy away in the corner. I have also trained a lot of my dogs so happy to help with training as needed. I've fostered dogs, and am comfortable working with your dogs personality to build confidence in our dynamic. Also, I am happy to brus your dogs and give any needed medicines etc. I say let's meet up (with your dog for dogs staying over) and we can see how your dog and I get along. We can take it from there! I am working part-time at present, mostly mornings and then too for myself. So I have plenty of flexibility to keep your fur-baby company. I have a fully fenced house. I've also had dogs that are escape artists so I am extra watchful. Happy to follow instructions based on your dogs needs.

“Priscilla has been walking my pup for about two months now. She has some anxiety issues and hasn’t beeen warming up to dog walkers as she’s getting older. But this has changed with Priscilla. Sunny just adores her and it really gives me peace of mind while I’m at work. We’re so lucky to have her 🐾💕”

About: Through my family, I have cared for a diverse range of pets. Small, medium, and large dogs, with ranging ages between 6 months old to 14 years old. I am happy to do any basic care for dogs, such as feeding, bathing, and playing. I am happy with taking most dogs out for walks, with the exception of highly energetic large dogs. I’ve had experience for caring for older dogs, and am confident in assisting in helping them with any kind of medication. Currently, I am available all hours of the day and week to care for critters. This will be subject to change, as I’m looking to fit a job into my schedule. I am currently not caring for any pets of my own, however whenever I visit family, I help care for their pets. This includes feeding, bathing, cleaning any messes they make, cleaning litter boxes, playing, and walking them. I won’t be able to care for pets in my home because of a no pets policy. In a clients home, I will make sure to follow all of their rules & boundaries to ensure both the pet and client are happy. I am will
About: I have a flexible schedule and am booking dog walks and drop-ins! I can accommodate for whether your dog likes more activity or needs a quiet and calm environment. I have experience dealing with dogs and other animals with anxiety and other medical or physical needs. I work from home at my own pace so I can accommodate different needs! Ideally, pet guests can be left at home alone for about an hour for errands and other events that come up. Please provide a crate if your dog cannot be left alone for over an hour. My home is responsible and dog safe with gates to prevent access to the kitchen. My yard is not fenced but I always keep dogs leashed.
Acorn-Acorn Industrial dog parents share their Rover experiences
We’re repeat clients of John’s and continue to work with him because he’s fantastic with our dog and an all-around great human. He cares for our pet as if he was his own, and that has led to developing a level of trust that’s hard to come by. As always, we highly recommend John if you’re considering contacting him.

Enzo is a gem! I appreciated their flexibility to arrange a meet and greet since my dog is selective about the dogs she likes. One thing that struck me on Enzo's profile was that they understand the importance of mental enrichment and positive reinforcement for dogs; Enzo's pup Arlo seems super smart and engaged and I'm excited for Naya to be cared for by someone so invested in dog behavior and science. Naya's first walk with Enzo and Arlo reassured me that Enzo would be an excellent, attentive caregiver for Naya. I look forward to working with Enzo more!

Stephanie is a gem! She's an incredibly thoughtful dog guardian and caregiver. I appreciated her warmth, flexibility, and attention to detail. My dog Naya has reactive tendencies and it was such a relief to meet a sitter who already spoke the language of fear-free, positive reinforcement training and whose questions anticipated our needs. I look forward to having her walk Naya.

Chewy can be very shy and takes time to warm up to new people so unfortunately they weren’t able to complete the walk this time. However, she was very patient, calm, and really tried her best the entire hour. I truly appreciated her kindness and understanding with him.
