About: Hi! I’m Courtney, and I love dogs and have lots of experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds from Chihuahuas to Pit bull terriers to Great Danes. I have worked for humane societies for years walking shelter dogs and helping with basic training and grooming, so I have lots of experience with dogs of all sizes including strong, highly active dogs that require an experienced controlled dog walker/sitter. I’m a firm believer in clear, calm communication with any dog that I am working with and I only use positive reinforcement. I work from home part time and have lots of time to dedicate to your pup! I’m responsible and respectful, as well as, punctual, and will happily give your pup all my love and attention! I’m available daily for dog walks and boarding and I currently have a small group of regular dogs that come on different weekdays for doggie daycare. My yard and entire property is fully fenced with a 6ft wood privacy fence and there is an extra gate between the front and back yards. I’m available pretty much anytime for dog walks but I do run a doggie daycare (max 5 dogs per day) in my home with my partner between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm Monday to Thursday. My current group of regulars (that come varying weekdays) includes dogs ranging from 15 - 85 pounds and almost all the dogs are between 3 and 5 years old. I also offer boarding for up to 2 dogs per night but usually I am booked out 4-6 weeks ahead of time. I live in West Oakland (very close to the Bart station!) and my home and yard are very secure with a 6ft tall redwood fence surrounding the entire property. My yard is pretty large and great for off leash fun as it’s completely safe and secure. I live only with my husband and our two very friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who loves every dog they has ever met. Oliver even has a way of making dogs that are usually not dog friendly play as if they were a puppy - it seems to be his super power! While Opal is just a love who is always ready for fun in the yard or cuddles on the couch.

About: My expertise is with cats as I've grown up with them, but I'm also in love with dogs. My favorite activity is to play with them, second to cuddling with them while they nap. They always lift my spirits when I'm feeling down and I know they get a kick out of having play time. My expertise is as follows: feeding, walking, playing, and bathing (cats only). I would love to play and keep your pets company while you are away. In the past, I have sent check-ins with pictures and given a brief summary of our time together at the end of the visit. I moved and I'm new to the area so I have a lot of downtime after my full-time job to come visit your pets in the evening and on weekends. Please check my calendar for an updated schedule This varies on the service but for feeding, I will make sure that they are fed their food in their proper bowls, make sure the water is clean and filled, and clean up after them so they don't eat food that's touched the floor. For walking, I will make sure that their leashes are in good condition, we won't walk in heavy traffic areas and have water on hand in case they get thirsty. For bathing, I will need more details as to where I can bathe them, what soaps you typically use and if they are comfortable with being bathed.

About: I am the Owner of a German/Belgian Shepherd. Ziggy coming into my life unexpectedly, and working on his behavior showed me a new love in life. I aspire to become a certified dog trainer. I currently work 4 days a week, Wednesday-Saturday, 3-10:30. Outside of that I am generally pretty free. If I’m not working I’m probably riding my bike exploring nature. Generally speaking with any animals, I do my best to be slow and give the animal the choice of whether they want to interact or not. It’s important to give them agency to, also advocating for them is important since they can’t speak.
