“Josie is an absolute angel! Not only did Josie take great care of Bowie, but also went above and beyond by picking him up from the previous sitter that gave her the wrong pickup instructions, persevered to find and pick up Bowie, and took him to the vet to make sure Bowie is okay due to our worries with the previous sitter, all with amazing communication and accommodating last minute requests. We later found out that Josie‘s perseverance and undeterred help might have saved Bowie‘s life. She even nursed Bowie back to health by encouraging him to eat and giving lots of love. Josie was also super respectful and tidy with our apartment while sitting Bowie at our place. She even stayed with Bowie for 8 hours every day to make sure that Bowie gets enough play, attention, and love. She even made a great effort to clean the little accident Bowie had when he wasn’t feeling well. She sent plenty of updates with Bowie and took great care of our dog. We are eternally grateful to Josie and would recommend her to everyone.”

About: I'm new to Rover, but this is far from my first rodeo! I've been around animals my entire life, from watching my neighbors dogs and owning a cat growing up, to helping in a pet store that had all kinds of exotic animals. Your pets will be i good care! I'm highly physical (your dogs will get some good exercise) and aware of the many health dos and don't for different animals. I'm extremely clean and attentive to the spaces I reside in and will make sure any house I am staying in is teated with care and respect. I currently am teaching wildlife skills to children from 9am to 3pm in Oakland. I am free for animals that do not require too much mid day care. It depends obviously on how the clients home is set up and the respective care schedule, but generally making sure there is food water and appropriate space.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong pet lover who has spent most of my life caring for animals and understand that pets are truly family. My most meaningful experience came from caring for my senior Chihuahua, whom I rescued from the streets and cared for during the last 5 years of his life. When I found him, he was estimated to be around 10 years old and had multiple health challenges, including a severely collapsed trachea. Caring for him taught me patience, attentiveness, consistency, and how important it is to provide pets with loving, reliable care—especially when they need extra support. In college, I also regularly walked neighbors’ dogs and have always been someone friends and family trust with their pets.
