Hi there, I’m Kendra (she/they). I grew up always having pets around... They have always been considered a part of our family! I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of all temperaments, breeds and sizes. My senior and medical care experience sets me apart from other pet sitters! I used to work in healthcare *for humans* so I am comfortable with medical-related matters. EXPERIENCED WITH: • Cats • Dog reactivity • Separation anxiety • Senior animals • Animals with medical needs and/or disabilities (specifically wheelchair support, diaper changes, bladder expression, medicine administration, allergies, vision & hearing loss)

SAFETY: •To keep both myself and your pet safe, they will always be leashed in public spaces. •If pets under my care seem to be adapting well, with owner permission, I like to take them on field trips to places like the park, on hikes or to my house. •I live in a house with a secure, fenced yard for your pup to play in. I only take one client at a time and we don't have any other pets so your pet will be showered in all the love and belly scratches my roommates have to offer! POLICIES: • Every client must either have a credit card on file with their preferred vet and/or feel comfortable with providing a form of payment that I can use on your behalf if a vet visit is necessary. • Every client must agree to disclose whether they have pet cams/live surveillance of their house and where these cameras are located. SLIDING SCALE RATES: • If you find that my rates are inaccessible to you, we can negotiate to find a rate that works within your budget while also respecting my expertise. I use the green bottle theory (fourth photo on my profile) to help determine sliding scale rates. • Conversation regarding this is facilitated during our M&G (meet and greet) upon request. • Always available for QTBIPOC clients!
Ratings and reviews
Kendra fits us in sort of last minute, but despite that she was very thorough in getting the details needed to care for my senior crew. Both my cat and my dog have several medications a day, and Kendra handled it all very smoothly. She paid extra attention to some troubles my old dog was having, and kept me updated throughout her stay. House was very clean and well maintained, and everyone seemed happy and content. My younger dog even wanted to go home with Kendra! Highly recommend her and will use her help again as soon as I can.
Finding a sitter who can manage manual bladder expressions for two cats with spinal injuries is incredibly rare, but Kendra handled it with total confidence. Both Sherlock and Reggie require this specialized care multiple times a day, and Kendra was exceptionally diligent in learning their routines. She spent a significant amount of time training with us beforehand to ensure she was proficient and comfortable, which gave us complete peace of mind during our weekend away. She is highly responsive, reliable, and deeply caring. We will absolutely be booking her again in the future and feel so lucky to have found someone we can trust so completely with our boys!
Kendra was everything we could have hoped for in a house/dog sitter. She was extremely professional and communicative, left our house in good shape, and quickly won over our often skeptical Germans shepherd and gave her great care. Look forward to booking again!
Kendra was wonderful to work with! She took time to meet with us and to learn about our not-so-happy-with-separation pitbull, Johnny. Both the dog and our home were so well taken care of. Kendra sent daily updates and was always responsive. I would recommend her a 100%!
Kendra was courteous, kind and patient with both our dogs (including our reactive, old grumpy guy) and a great friend to our cat too. We're grateful for her help and look forward to rebooking.
Kendra is a true pro! She took her time to get to know all of my dog’s behaviors and was so patient with him (and me) as we began to work with one another. My dog is not an easy one, but he took to her almost immediately. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with her over the weekend. And she was great about sending updates. Definitely recommend her!

Schedule
SCHEDULE: I currently have the flexibility to do check-ins, walks and have play time with your fur babies as needed. I spend my time studying for online classes, teaching group exercise (2 days/week) and volunteering. If I do leave the house, I limit my time away from your pet to no more than 6 hours (if that doesn't work for your pet, we can discuss my constant care rate). Before I leave your home, I will make sure that your fur baby has been fed, played with/exercised, and has relieved themselves.
